Sandy Gbandi joined the UAB men’s soccer staff in the summer of 2015 as a student assistant. Gbandi was a student-athlete at UAB from 2002-05. He just recently retired from professional soccer after playing two years for FC Dallas of the MLS and several more years for the Puerto Rico Islanders.
