University of Michigan graduate Scott Gloden begins his second season as the head women’s soccer coach at Goshen College in 2016.

Gloden comes to Goshen after a two-year stint as the lead assistant at NCAA Division I Saint Louis University, where he led the Billikens to a second-place finish in the Atlantic 10 in 2013. He has previously coached at the University of Cincinnati (2011-12), Bowling Green State University (2007-10), Saint Francis University in Pennsylvania (2004-06) and St. Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind. (2001-03).

A native of Traverse City, Mich., Gloden played college soccer at the University of Michigan from 1994-96, leading the Wolverines to a national club championship before the program received varsity status. He graduated from Michigan in 1998 and received his master’s in sports administration from Wayne State University in 2001.
Gloden is married to his wife, Anne, a four-year starting goalkeeper at Central Michigan University. The couple has two daughters, Evelyn and Vivien.
