Scott Phipps was named the new head coach of the Alderson Broaddus men’s soccer program in January 2014. Phipps came to ABU after spending the last five seasons as the first assistant at Rockhurst University. He also served as the team’s recruiting coordinator and was responsible for scouting and opponent analysis. While at RU, Phipps helped develop a program that won four conference championships, two regional championships and made three trips to the NCAA tournament. The Hawks compiled a 70-25-10 record while Phipps was on the staff and reached the NCAA Division II men’s soccer national semifinal in 2013.
