Sean Steele has served as an assistant coach of the Fresno State women’s soccer team for one season under head coach Brian Zwaschka and alongside goalie specialist, Lauren McAdam. Steele joined the Bulldog family on July 19, 2014 to assist with all aspects of preparation and performance including training and player development.

Steele came to Fresno State after serving as the head coach for both the men’s and women’s soccer teams at Nebraska Wesleyan the past three seasons. At NWU, Steele guided the men’s soccer team to their first winning record since 2008.

Prior to his time at NWU, Steele was an assistant men’s and women’s coach at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for five seasons. While at UWO he helped coach the men soccer team to two trips to the NCAA III Tournament and guided the women to the NCAA Tournament in 2006.

In addition to the 15 years of acquired coaching experience, Steele also played collegiately at Wisconsin-Oshkosh for three seasons helping the Prairie Wolves to a 40-15-2 record and a trip to the third round of the NCAA III Tournament.
