Wofford College has added Shane Calvert as assistant men’s soccer coach earlier this week. Calvert joins the Terriers after spending last season as the Volunteer Assistant Coach and Performance Analyst at Clemson University. “I’m excited to have someone with Shane’s experience on board,” said seventh-season head coach Ralph Polson. “He brings a wealth of knowledge to the position and should help our program continue to flourish and grow.” As the assistant coach and performance analyst, Calvert was responsible for assisting in planning training sessions, scouting opponents, on-campus recruiting. Shane also played a vital role in coding film, deciphering statistical analysis information, setting up travel arrangements, game day preparations and marketing skills camps.
