Stephen joined the Whittier men’s soccer staff for the 2014-2015 campaign as the head recruiting coordinator/ assistant Coach.
Stephen began his coaching career 17 years ago. He has been on the coaching staff at Brea Olinda high School for 15 years. His first two years were as the head Junior Varsity coach were he compiled a record of 41-2-5. He then spent the next three seasons as the Varsity assistant to Matt Swindle. During that time Stephen was part of a staff that won three league titles and a CIF southern section championship. For the last 10 years Stephen has been the Varsity head coach. During that time he has won 3 league titles and a CIF Southern Section Final four appearance. As of the 2013-14 season His current overall record is 140-79-32. Stephen has achieved the all time win record.
