Steve Bode returns for his seventh season as assistant coach with the Marquette University men’s soccer program in 2014. He was a part of the Golden Eagles’ staff that earned BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year honors after Marquette claimed its first BIG EAST Conference division championship in 2011. Bode graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008. Twice Bode was named Milwaukee’s Most Valuable Player. He started all 83 games he played in his career. In 2003 and in 2005, Bode matched a single-season school record starting 23 games for the Panthers.
