The Eckerd College men’s soccer program has made considerable strides under the watch of Magee since he took over the program in 2010. He will be entering his fourth year at the helm this fall.
The 2012 season, his most recent body of work, marked back-to-back berths in the Sunshine State Conference Tournament with a historical run featuring heart-pounding moments that lasted until the finals. With a combination of a pair of All-SSC/All-South Region performers and four more of his players to the All-SSC Championship Team in the postseason among the award winners last fall, the groundwork for sustained success remains imminent going into 2013.
Magee navigated the Tritons through a rigorous regional and conference schedule that translated into a 4-3-1 league record, the program’s first time over .500 in SSC play since 1984.
