Ted Anderson enters his second season as the assistant coach of the Mercer men’s soccer team. Anderson was named the second assistant coach of the Brad Ruzzo era on August 11, 2011. Anderson is in charge of day-to-day operations associated with the team and will assist Ruzzo with on-field training, academic monitoring and travel accommodations. Anderson, like former assistant coach Mike Haynes, had a very successful collegiate career under Ruzzo when he was the top assistant coach at Bradley University. Anderson played at Bradley from 2003-2007 and appeared in 57 out of a possible 67 games over his final three seasons as a Brave in both a midfield and defensive capacity. He accumulated 20 career points at Bradley, on the strength of six goals and eight assists, and was named an NSCAA/ADIDAS All-Midwest Region second team performer, a Missouri Valley All-Conference first team selection and the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament MVP and as a senior in 2007.
