Moon completed her second year as an Eastern Florida assistant coach and was promoted to associate head coach. She holds a USSF National “B” License. Moon played for high school and club state championship teams in Brevard County before becoming a record-setting scorer at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne where she was the 2009 Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year. She graduated from FIT in 2010 and was inducted into its Hall of Fame in 2016. She also serves as a coach for Space Coast United Soccer Club.
