Tim Dean joined the Forester men’s soccer coaching staff in 2016 and is in his eight year of coaching overall.
Dean has been the director of coaching for the Grove United Soccer Association since March of 2014. In addition to overseeing the coaches throughout the club, he also coaches two of the age groups.
Dean has also been a coach in the Illinois Olympic Development Program since 2012 and currently works with the 2004 Boys team. He is also an instructor in Illinois Youth Soccer’s Coach Education Program.
Other organizations Dean has been with since entering the profession in 2009 include Coerver Coaching IL, Warren United, and Skills First Soccer. He has also coached at several youth summer camps since 2002.
While in high school Dean was an all-conference, all-district, and all-area selection. He went on to play for the club teams at Grand Valley State University and Illinois State University.
Dean graduated from Illinois State in December of 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
He resides in Chicago.
