Tim Doyle enters his third season with the Rams following a distinguished stint as a member of the Ohio State men’s volleyball staff.

In addition to on-court coaching, Doyle spearheads VCU’s recruiting efforts. Additionally, he oversees the Rams’ video and data analysis programs, assembles scouting reports and assists in team and individual player development.

Doyle played an integral role in VCU’s 17-13 campaign in 2014, as well as in the development of All-Atlantic 10 performers Janelle Sykes, Cecilia Aragao, Kalah Jones and Jessica Young. Sykes and Aragao signed professional contracts following graduation.
Doyle joined VCU following two years as a volunteer assistant coach with the Ohio State University men’s volleyball program, where he specialized in using video and statistical data to construct the Buckeyes’ scouting reports. Working under legendary Ohio State Coach Pete Hanson, Doyle helped the Buckeyes to a 19-8 mark in 2013.
