Tim Steggall joined the UT Arlington staff in 2013 as an assistant coach and the director of baseball operations. Steggall played for UT Arlington under coach Darin Thomas. In this role as director of operations, he is responsible for administrative duties, scouting reports and charts, organizing travel accommodations and logistics, organizing baseball camps, and helping with alumni events and baseball fundraisers. After the successful year at Central Arizona, Steggall transferred to UT Arlington for the 2009 season, a season in which he started every game at shortstop. In the summer after his junior year, while playing for Barry Aiden and the Seattle Studs, Steggall signed a free agent contract with the Texas Rangers as a pitcher. He pitched in the Rangers organization from 2009-2011.
