Coach Martinez is former four-year soccer player for Schreiner University who completed his playing career in the fall of 2013. He earned awards American Southwest Conference awards including player-of-the-week and second-team All-ASC his senior year. He was a goalkeeoper throughout his playing career and served as captain of the team his senior year.
Tim graduated with an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. During the 2013-2014 season, Coach Martinez served as a volunteer assistant for the SU men’s soccer program. He was working as a volunteer assistant with the Schreiner women’s soccer program in 2014 and now becomes the team’s full assistant for 2014. He has earned a national “E” soccer coaching license.
