Coach Cirelli certainly brings experience to the Mesa Thunderbirds, as he is closing in on his 30th year coaching with Mesa. Coach Cirelli originally attended Mesa Community College as a third baseman, and earned a Masters in Education as a student athlete. He joined the coaching staff as an infield coach in 1985, and was named the head coach in 1995. In is head coaching career, he is a three time Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) Coach of the year, seen 24 playoff appearances, 4 NJCAA World series appearances, and has over 700 wins as a head coach.
