Tony Pacella enters his second season as the Sewanee Head Men’s Soccer Coach.
In his first year, Pacella immediately raised the bar with one of the toughest schedules in the southeast. Despite the Tigers’ 5-10-2 record, Sewanee lost four matches by a single goal. An outstanding recruiter, Pacella enters 2015 with a host of talented newcomers.
Pacella came to Sewanee from Amherst College, where he served as the assistant men’s soccer coach for Jeffs. At Amherst, Pacella helped the Jeffs to a 35-1-5 record over the past two seasons. During that time, Amherst also won back-to-back NESCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships.
