Tony is and assistant coach at Georgia Tech. Tony was a former first baseman for the Yellow Jackets, starting all four years from 2007-2010. He is returning to to Georgia Tech after spending three seasons in the minors with the Detroit Tigers organization, eventually retiring following the 2012 season with the Double-A Erie Seawolves in the Eastern League. In his college career he hit .329 with 56 doubles, 55 homers and 219 RBI. He currently ranks sixth at Tech in career RBI, third in homers and seventh in doubles. He was drafted in the ninth round by the Tigers following the 2010 season.
