Troy Edwards became the Head Coach of the Aurora University women’s soccer program in the spring of 2012.  Edwards has a 68-15-4 overall record in his time at the helm of the Spartans. AU has won three conference championships and three conference tournament championships while making three NCAA Tournament appearances. The 2014 Spartans won the program’s first NCAA Tournament contest and advanced to the Division III Sweet 16.  His players do just as well in the classroom, as every team has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

He was named 2012 Northern Athletics Conference Women’s Soccer Coach of the Year. Additionally in 2012, AU was ranked 9th in both the NSCAA and D3soccer.com polls, the highest ranking in the history of the AU women’s soccer program.

Prior to coming to AU, Edwards spent the five seasons (2007-2011) as the head coach of the North Park University women’s soccer program.  From 2004-2006, he served as the head women’s soccer coach at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas, where he led the Lady Jackets’ program to their first ever appearances in the American Southwest Conference playoffs following the 2005 and 2006 seasons. During his tenure at LeTourneau, his teams set every offensive school record including most wins and most goals scored in a season. Additionally he coached 11 all-conference players, one conference offensive player of the year, and one NSCAA All-Region player.
