EXACT Alumni Kennedy Berschel Commits to University of Illinois

Kennedy takes a free kick at an EXACT Camp in March of 2015. 

Here's her story. 

Kennedy knew from an early age that not only did she want to play college soccer, but at a Big Ten school specifically. So, in addition to playing for Eclipse Select, an elite level club team in Illinois, she decided to attend a spring ID camp in Indianapolis hosted by ​EXACT Sports. 


There were a number of Big 10 schools in attendance, so Kennedy got to networking fast. She quickly met Jeff Freeman, an assistant coach with University of Illinois. After impressing at camp, she kept in touch with Coach Freeman and then started to build a relationship with legendary coach Janet Rayfield as well. 


Kennedy recently gave her verbal commitment to play at the University of Illinois after she graduates in 2020. Congratulations, Kennedy!
