Jacob Wilson returned to his alma mater when he joined the Cal mens soccer coaching staff in 2016 as an assistant coach under former Cal head coach Kevin Grimes - who mentored Wilson when the latter was a Golden Bears player.

Jake has played in all levels of soccer (Recreational, competitive club, high school, Division 1 college--Cal, semi-pro--PDL and NPSL, and professionally) He has a great understanding of what it means.

He is passionate about raising the level of soccer in the bay area and around the US, and that starts with the youth and getting involved in the community. He is coaching a U11 boys team at Lamorinda Soccer Club as well as being the Head Assistant Coach at Cal.

Adrian Molina

Molina-Diaz served as a Graduate Assistant Coach in 2023 helping guide the Beavers' to the best season in program history, as Oregon State made its first ever run to the College Cup. Overall, OSU went 11-6-5 on the year, and one four NCAA Tournament games before falling to Notre Dame in the semi-finals. Oregon State ended the season ranked No. 4 in the United Soccer Coaches poll, the highest end-of-season mark in program history.

The journey to the NCAA Tournament featured a number of marquee victories, including a road win at No. 1 Stanford, a victory at No. 22 Washington and an emphatic 7-1 win over No. 2 SMU in the NCAA Tournament's Round of 16.

The team results were matched by individual honors, as Logan Farrington was named Pac-12 Player of the Year. Farrington and Javier Armas were both selected as All-Americans, while Luis Castillo joined that duo on the All-Region Team. In total six Beavers earned All-Pac-12 recognition.

Molina-Diaz also helped guide three Beavers to selection the MLS SuperDraft, highlighted by Farrington who was selected with the third overall pick.

Molina-Diaz was a part of the 2021 and 2022 Oregon State teams. He was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team in 2021, despite having his season cut short due to injury. The Alicante, Spain, native scored six goals in the 12 matches he played during that campaign, tying him for fourth in the Pac-12.
 
Molina-Diaz made eight starts in the 2022 season, as he battled back to fitness.

Gaye Diadie

Diadie arrived in Evanston by way of Chicago State, where he served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for nearly two years. Diadie also served as an assistant coach for Texas United FC in USL 2 since December 2022.

In his time with the Cougars, Diadie, a former defensive midfielder during his playing career, worked primarily with the midfield and defensive corps. His other responsibilities included scouting student-athletes in the United States and internationally, developing tactical analyses for games and assisting team travel. He also oversaw the progress of the team's student-athletes, with seven players named to the Academic All-MAC Team.

Diadie's collegiate playing career featured four stops in the United States after traveling across the pond from Paris, France. He spent two seasons at Illinois Central College, tallying three goals and two assists before transferring to Saginaw Valley State. In his lone year with the Cardinals, he started all 18 games as a junior in 2019, recording one assist. As a senior in 2020, Diadie started in eight of his nine appearances for Georgia Southern, bagging one goal.

He concluded his playing career as a graduate student at Chicago State in 2021, where he logged the fifth-most minutes on the team (1,457). Diadie served as the team's primary captain, making 16 starts in 17 appearances for the Cougars, while tallying two goals and one assist on the season.

Diadie graduated from Georgia Southern with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and earned a Masters in Business Administration at Chicago State. He is currently pursuing his UEFA B Coaching License.

Tony Huerta

Tony Huerta joins the UC Riverside Men's Soccer staff as an assistant coach for his first season in 2024.

Huerta brings a lifetime of soccer knowledge to UCR, currently holding a USSF C license while working towards his USSF B license. He has over 10 years of experience coaching locally at Riverside Poly and with local youth soccer clubs, currently serving as Legends FC Director and coach. Huerta joins UCR after spending two seasons as an assistant coach with California Baptist men's soccer.

Huerta helped CBU win back-to-back Western Athletic Conference (WAC) championships and advance to the NCAA Tournament in each of its first two seasons of eligibility as a Division I program. In 2023, he helped the program advance in the NCAA tournament with an opening round win at San Diego on penalties. Huerta's time at CBU also included assisting in the development of Luis Mueller's (LAFC) and Antonio Gomez's (Austin FC II) path to professional soccer.

Prior to getting into the coaching side of soccer, Huerta spent time with the Riverside Coras in the National Premier Soccer League after splitting his college career between San Bernadino Valley College (SBVC) and Hope International in Fullerton. Huerta led SBVC to back-to-back postseason appearances before transferring to Hope International, where he appeared in 21 games for the Royals as a defender while scoring one goal.

Huerta, both a native of and a current resident of Riverside, credits his close community ties and the program's history as reasons to join the staff at UCR.

As a kid, Huerta always attended community events that UCR would participate in and dreamed of being at UC Riverside competing for a national championship.

Chris Volk

Chris Volk joined the UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team as an assistant coach in August of 2017. Since his arrival at UCR, he has helped the Highlanders to 3 Big West Championships and two appearances to the NCAA Division I Tournament (2018 and 2022).

Volk is best known to area soccer fans as the longtime assistant coach and head coach at UC Irvine. During his 20 years with the Anteaters, Volk helped UCI to five NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the Sweet 16.

The 'Eaters won four Big West Conference Championships, and four conference tournament titles during his final nine years with the program. Over that time span, UC Irvine compile a 106-67-22 win-loss record, and six national Top-25 rankings.

Volk was named the NSCAA Far West Regional Assistant Coach of the Year in 2008, and was a finalist for the national assistant coach of the year that same season.

Eleven of his student-athletes were drafted by MLS teams, and 33 earned Big West All-Academic honors.

Prior to his time at UC Irvine, Volk was the men's assistant coach at San Diego State, the assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at San Diego Mesa College, an assistant in the California Soccer Association South, and a Region IV ODP/Coach and Instructor. He also served as the head coach of the Orange County SC U23 USL PDL, and currently is the DOC for North Huntington Beach FC.

Volk received his bachelor's degree in social science with a minor in Spanish from San Diego State in 1992.

George Kuntz

Kuntz had led the Titans to 3 NCAA Tournament Appearances, 2024 Big West Champions 12-5 record, Coach of the year, 4 Big West Tournament Finals, 3 Big West Tournament Semi-Final, and 3 Big West Tournament titles and 5 winning seasons in his first 5 seasons while also earning their first South Divsion title in history during the 2015 and 2017 campaign. 
Kuntz came to Fullerton after serving 19 years as the men's head soccer coach at UC Irvine, turning the Anteaters into a perennial soccer power that have made four NCAA Tournament appearances in the last six years, winning four Big West Tournament championships (2008, 2009,2011, 2013) and three regular season titles (2008, 2010, 2011). Kuntz, a collegiate head coach for 29 years, was named the NSCAA/Adidas Far West Region Coach of the Year in (2006 and 2008) and has seen a number of players jump to the next level including 12 in Major League Soccer (MLS) and three on various U.S. National Teams.
After leading the Titans to their first Big West Tournament Championship in 2014, Kuntz led his 2015 squad to not only another Tournament title but to their first ever South Division regular season title. Kuntz led his team to the best overall and conference records since 2000 with an overall record of 13-8-1 while posting a 6-3-1 record in Big West play. 
With 10 wins in his first season at the helm of the Titans, Kuntz compiled the most wins in an inaugural season as Titan head coach since Al Mistri won 13 games in his opening season in 1981. In his first win as the head coach of Cal State Fullerton, Kuntz led the Titans to a 4-3, double overtime comeback victory over 14th-ranked University of Maryland, Baltimore County on Sep. 14. He later led Cal State Fullerton over his old team, UC Irvine, in championship game of the Big West Championship Tournament on Nov. 15 in a penalty-kick shootout victory, 4-3, giving the Titans their first ever Big West Conference Tournament Championship and automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
His career record is 349-239-79, ranking second in Big West history with 164 victories as a member of the Big West Conference. In addition, his 74 Big West wins ranks third all-time. The Anteaters earned seven All-American honors under Kuntz, and in addition, the soccer program has earned 15 conference players of the year, 111 all-conference honors, and 15 All-West Region honors. Prior to 2013, UCI entered the postseason in 2011 after winning the Big West Tournament for a third time earning a No. 8 national seed and finishing the season ranked 13th with a school record 16 wins while going 16-6-1. The 2011 season was another giant leap in the college soccer world being ranked as high as fifth. In 2010, Kuntz led the Anteaters to a 14-3-3 record and a Big West regular season title. In 2009, UCI won the Big West Tournament and received an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and a first round bye by virtue of a 4-1 win on the road against UC Santa Barbara. UC Irvine was rewarded for a historic 15-win season by receiving the 16th seed for the NCAA Division I Tournament and played host to Stanford in the second round of the NCAA Tournament in front of 2,000 fans. The team finished No. 3 in the West region and No. 25 in the nation.
Kuntz led the 2008 Anteaters to their first-ever Big West championship with a 5-1-4 league record, their first Big West Tournament title and first trip to the NCAA Tournament. In the NCAA tournament, he guided the team to the Round of 16 after earning the No. 14 national seed to start the tourney. Kuntz earned his second Big West Conference Coach of the Year honor that season. Four players earn All-American honors, and the Anteaters were ranked as high as seventh nationally. Kuntz came to UCI from Pepperdine where he was the first women's soccer head coach; recording a 23-11-2 record in the first two seasons (1993 & 1994) of the program's existence including historic wins over UCLA and USC. Kuntz began his collegiate coaching career at California Lutheran University in 1988 and compiled a five-year record of 60-27-10 (.670). The Kingsmen won the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) titles in 1991 and 1992 and advanced to the NCAA Far West Regional title game. In 1989, Kuntz founded the women's soccer program at California Lutheran University and recorded a 51-24-1 (.678) record from 1989-1992. California Lutheran's women's team was ranked No. 1 in the Far West region and No. 3 in the nation in 1992 with a 17-4 record. Kuntz led the team to SCIAC championships in 1991 and 1992. The team went to the NCAA Far West final in 1992.
Kuntz coached four National Championship teams in the Donnelly Cup (Amateur Adult Division National Championships) as the California Soccer Association Head Coach for both the men and women. The California State Select Men's Team won National Championships in 2003, 2004 and 2005. His women's California State Select won the national title in 2006, the regional title in 2004 and, participated in the National Final Four in 2005. Kuntz is a 1989 graduate of Arizona State University and holds a bachelor's degree in communication arts. He graduated with a master's degree in education with an emphasis in curriculum and instruction from California Lutheran University. He holds a United States Soccer Federation "A" license, National Youth License, and the National Soccer Coaches Association Advanced National Diploma. Kuntz spent a large part of his coaching career studying the development of the youth soccer player and is nationally recognized as the one of the longest serving United States State Association (USYSA) Directors of Coaching in the United States. Kuntz has been the Technical Director and Director of Coaches Education for the Hawaii Youth Soccer Association for 10 years.  He served as the Director of Coaching for the California Youth Soccer Association - South for eight years and was the catalyst for mandatory licensing for youth soccer coaches in the United States. He was named 1995 CYSA - South Boy's Coach of the Year. Kuntz was also director of the Olympic Development Program from 1992 - 1996. In May of 2011, he was appointed the AYSO National Director of Player Development Technical Advisor. In 1994 Kuntz worked at the Federation International Football Association (FIFA) World Cup in Pasadena, California as an (FIFA) Assistant Technical Advisor.
Kuntz founded the Team Soccer Direct camp program in 1977, which has evolved into one of the nation's best summer camp programs and has been involved in the Olympic Development Program (ODP) as a player, coach, and administrator for 34 years. Kuntz played at Westmont College, San Diego Mesa College, and Scottsdale College during his collegiate years and was drafted by the Phoenix Fire of the American Professional Soccer League. Providing a safe environment for our players and families as well as giving back to our community is the cornerstone of the program.

Marlon Del Valle

Marlon Del Valle is in his 3rd season as an assistant coach at CSUN and will work with the Matadors goalkeepers.
 
Del Valle comes to CSUN from Loyola Marymount where he served as the goalkeepers coach for the Lions during the 2021 season. Del Valle mentored West Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year Jacob Jackson who posted an 0.67 goals against average and eight shutouts for LMU.
 
Since 2019 has worked as the Goalkeepers coach for both the boys and girls at Chaminade College Prep and as an assistant varsity coach. The girls team at Chaminade College Prep won the 2019 CIF Division I Championship. 
 
In 2021, Del Valle added goalie coach responsibilities at Oaks Christian High School. He has also served as the keepers coach for the Sporting FC Academy, Be Limitless Futbol School, Eclipse Soccer Club, Advanced Goalkeeping Athletics, Extreme Soccer Club, and Titans Soccer Club.
 
Del Valle played for San Fernando Scorpions from 2014-16, Sporting San Fernando of the UPSL from 2016-17, and City of Angeles FC of the NPSL from 2017-18.
 
Del Valle holds USSF License F, E, and D. He has received a diploma from the International Goalkeeping Coaches Conference as well as the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Diploma Level 1, 2, and 3. Del Valle also holds NFHS certifications.

Matt Deemer

Matthew Deemer came to Portland ahead of the 2023 season as an assistant coach for Portland Pilots Mens Soccer, signing on as the recruiting coordinator and goalkeeper coach for the Pilots. Deemer helped guide the Pilots to a 12-5 record overall and a 5-2 record in WCC play, helping Portland make their third straight NCAA Tournament appearance. Portland earned a first-round bye for the first time since 1988 after earning a 11-seed in the tournament. With Deemer's guidance, Portland soccer had 10 Pilots earn All-WCC honors and three earn WCC awards, including the WCC Defender of the Year, WCC Midfielder of the Year and WCC Freshman of the Year. Portland had three United Soccer Coaches All-West Region selections, two All-Americans and Portland's first MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist since 2002. Three Pilots were taken in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft as well, the most in program history in a single draft.




Prior to joining the Pilots, Deemer spent three seasons from 2021-23 at the University of San Diego, helping guide the Toreros as an assistant coach to one of the best seasons in program history. The Toreros went 6-0-1 in conference play to finish undefeated against WCC opponents for the first time since 2000, secure the WCC title and qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014. Working primarily with the goalkeepers, Deemer coached the WCC Co-Goalkeeper of the Year and was named to the United Soccer Coaches West Region Coaching Staff of the Year. San Diego also had the WCC Defender of the Year, the WCC Freshman of the Year, 13 All-WCC selections and two All-West Region selections under Deemers guidance. Before joining San Diego, Deemer served as an assistant coach at the University of Saint Katherine's for a year after spending three years as an assistant coach from 2018-20 at San Diego State University.




Both during and after his four-year career at Chapman University as a goalkeeper, Deemer coached at various levels from high school to MLS Next. He began his coaching career as the Chapman Womens Club Team Head Coach in 2015 and also was the head JV coach for Villa Park High School from 2015-17. During that time, he was also an assistant coach for LA Galaxy San Diego. Deemer was named head coach of Villa Parks varsity team for the 2017-18 season, helping them reach the CIF Finals and earning CIF Coach of the Year honors in the process. Deemer had a stellar career in the CIF as a goalkeeper for Carlsbad High School and is the only person to win both CIF Player of the Year and CIF Coach of the Year in a four-year span.

Archie Massen

Over the past three seasons, Massen has been an integral part of the coaching staff by developing a season log of all practice sessions, assisting with team logistics such as travel and equipment, while also helping scout opponents with video and statistical analysis. 
 
Massen also has helped with academic monitoring that helped the program to one of the highest grade point averages in the department. 
 
Massen has been instrumental in developing relationships in the community and arranging opportunities for team engagement with local schools and nonprofit organizations while also coordinating the programs soccer camps. 
 
Massen also spent a year as a coach with the USSF Development Academy RGV Toros FC. He implemented daily training sessions for players ages 10-18. He helped create a long-term development plan for players in the academy while helping players arrange college visits.
 
Massen wrapped up his collegiate playing career with UTRGV in 2015 where he was named co-captain. He also played three seasons at the University of Texas at Brownsville where he led the program to a NAIA national championship runner-up in 2014. 
 
Massen graduated from UTRGV in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science, Health and Human Performance before earning a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in 2017.

Christopher Martinez

Christopher Martinez enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's soccer program in 2023. 

Martinez joins CMS after earning substantial coaching experience in Texas over the last four years at both the high school and club level, since graduating from Texas A&M in 2022.

For the past year, Martinez has served as the director of the premier program at Urban Champions Academy in San Antonio for the past year, while simultaneously serving as an assistant coach at Central Catholic High School. At the Urban Champions Academy, he was the head coach of the '05 boys team, where he organized and ran training sessions, and prepared for weekly matches. In his role at Central Catholic, he was responsible for scouting opponents and preparing scouting reports, while assisting on tactical preparations. He also assisted in organizing and running training sessions, pregame warm-ups, and organizing set piece personnel.

Before moving to San Antonio, Martinez served three years as a head coach of the '05 Boys and '09 Boys teams at the Calvary Youth Soccer Club in College Station, where he developed, organized and ran training sessions and prepared game plan strategies against opponents. 

He also had a stint in College Station as an assistant coach with the Texas A&M Mens Club Soccer team and volunteered as an assistant coach in the summer of 2021 with Corpus Christi FC, where he aided in the selection of the team roster through tryouts.

Martinez graduated from Texas A&M in 2022 with a degree in political science. He holds US Soccer Federation National C and D licenses, and Grassroot licenses for 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. He is currently enrolled in both the Coaching Credential degree program under United Soccer Coaches, and his US Soccer Federation B license. Locally, he is involved as a club coach at Legends FC.

Rockne DeCoster joined the Caltech coaching staff in January 2023. In his first season, Caltech had its best record in over 50 years and had multiple players selected to the All-Conference and All-Region teams. Before Caltech, DeCoster coached at Grinnell College where he was the assistant men's soccer coach for 4 seasons. While at Grinnell he also recruited and coached multiple All-Conference and All-Region players, in addition to the 2021 CoSIDA All-American Player of the Year. He also helped the team reach back-to-back conference tournaments finals.

Duncan Gillis was named to be the 17th head coach in the history of the Caltech men's soccer program on June 2, 2021.

Gillis is coming off a six-year stint at his alma mater Beloit College, where he was named to the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 Class for 2019-20 while leading the Buccaneers during a period of significant growth. He mentored the program's first player to be named First Team All-MWC since his own sophomore season in 2012 for the team that broke the program record for fewest goals allowed in a season and recorded the second-most wins ever. Prior to becoming the Bucs' gaffer, Gillis spent the 2014 season as a part-time assistant, where he helped design practice sessions, determined training objectives, provided tactical analysis before and during games, and handled additional administrative tasks. 

The Salt Lake City, Utah native graduated from Beloit in the Spring of 2014 Summa Cum Laude with a double major in Spanish and Education and Youth Studies and a Philosophy minor. He completed his degree with student teaching at Beloit Memorial High School during the 2014-15 school year, advancing from assisting and observing to full-time teaching.

Brian Wright enters his eighth year as Occidental College's men's soccer head assistant coach in the 2024-25 season.

Prior to joining the Occidental staff, Wright was an assistant coach for Caltech's men's soccer team for two seasons from 2014-2016.

A former Olympic Development Program (ODP) standout in southern California, Wright has been playing soccer since the age of five. He quickly knew soccer was his passion. His passion, combined with discipline and dedication, became the motivation to earn him a division 1 soccer scholarship to San Jose State University. Wright has played in several youth tournaments throughout Europe and has received world-renowned training from some of the best coaches at the professional level. This influence helped shape his personal philosophy and style of coaching. At the age of 17, he was offered a professional contract with Belgian side Club Brugge. Wright received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Cal State University, Northridge in 2007.

After capping off his collegiate career, Wright went on to train with the Los Angeles Galaxy as a reserve, followed by a stint in USL League One. In 2016, he completed his master's in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine. He currently holds a U.S. Soccer Federation A-Senior Coaching License.

Sewanee Womens Soccer Head Coach Patrick Johnston is entering his 11th season on the Domain.

The 2018 campaign ended with a 6-11-2 record and a quarterfinal appearance in the SAA Tournament. Three were named All-SAA selections. 

In 2017, the Tigers finished in the semifinals of the SAA Tournament with a 6-9-2 record. Two Tigers were selected as All-Conference members.  

During the 2016 season, Johnston led the Tigers to an 8-9-2 overall record and a semifinalist in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Conference Tournament.

In 2015, Johnston led the Tigers to one of their best years in program history. Sewanee finished the season with an 11-4-3 overall record. During the regular season, the Tigers earned a share of their first-ever SAA Regular Season Championship. The Tigers finished with an unbeaten 6-0-1 SAA record while Johnston earned his first-ever SAA Coach of the Year award. Both win totals were the most overall and conference victories for Sewanee since 2010.

In the previous three seasons, Johnston led a young Tigers' team to 15 all-conference awards and 32 victories, while consistently having the toughest schedule of any team in the conference. That includes a 13-6 record in 2014. That win total was the most for Sewanee since 2010.

In his inaugural season, 2009, the Tigers finished 11-3-3 and posted the highest win percentage in the programs history. After a second place SCAC finish, the Tigers ended the year with a ranking in the NCAA Regional rankings for the first time since 2005.  The 2010 team earned Sewanees highest ranking ever by being recognized fourth in the South Atlantic Regions mid-season polls.

Johnstons 20-plus years of coaching experience includes stops at Illinois State University, UNC Greensboro, Barry University and James Madison University, among others. He also coached professionally with the New Orleans Gamblers in the A League.

As a player, Johnston was a High School All-American and a member of the U.S. National Youth Team. He played four years for Duke University and was an All-ACC selection for three years. He was selected to the NSCAA All-American Team during his senior season. Johnston went on to play professionally in England for Newcastle United (English First Division) and in the United States for the Miami Sharks, the Maryland Bays and the Miami Freedom (ASL, APSL).

Johnston has been active in youth soccer in the US for over 30 years. He has coached or served as a Director of Coaching at clubs all across the south and was a Region III ODP staff coach for two different directors.  He is currently a lecturer for the NSCAA and represents the organization in the Club Standards project.  He reviews youth clubs nationwide, assisting them to improve in his role as a consultant.  Johnston is a contributing writer for Success in Soccer and other publications and has traveled abroad extensively in this role visiting professional and amateur academics in Europe and South America.  His focus in his journalism has been the topic of club structure and player development.

In the summer of 2014, Johnston released The Odyssey of a Soccer Junkie. The book takes readers along the evolving journey from a startling innocence into a pragmatic adventurer chasing the beautiful game. This heroic journey promises to entertain you with facts, feats, and levity while displaying adventurous escapism at its finest. 

With that, Johnston has appeared a numerous national media shows and interviews.

Coach Johnston received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Duke University in 1986 and a Masters in Fine Arts from The University of the South and is married with four children, Corinne, Nikki, Kyle C'19 and Robbie.

Former Division III All-Region selection and international player, Ross Macklin, began his tenure as the Carnegie Mellon University men's soccer assistant coach in the fall of 2022. Macklin joined head coach Brandon Bowmans staff to continue an 11-year coaching career that spans work at the club, Division III, and international levels.

Macklin's first season with the Tartans witnessed the program's return to the NCAA Tournament and a double-digit win season. 

Macklin previously worked as the director of recruiting and operations, head coach, and camp director for Tiro Sports Pte Ltd in Singapore for three years where he was the lead recruiter for new players from around the world for Tiro Sports United States College recruiting program. While with Tiro, Macklin often served as the head coach for select teams made up of international players that participated in college showcase tournaments in the U.S. 

Concurrently, Macklin was a volunteer assistant coach at Macalester College in Saint Paul, Minnesota, for a year where he helped guide the Scots to a top-half finish in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and a postseason berth. Macklin was responsible for on-field coaching, helping to create the teams tactical approach to games, and scouting opponents.

Macklins first coaching role came in 2011 while he was a senior at Division III Vassar College. As Macklin was earning all-region honors for his play on the field helping the Brewers win their first-ever Liberty League Championship, he was serving as an assistant coach with the boys under 17 team at Middlepath FC from August through December of the following year. This experience, combined with a year as a student assistant for the Brewers in 2012 led to a full-time role with Vassar from August 2014 through January 2019. During that time, the Brewers earned two bids to the NCAA Division III Championship and won its second Liberty League title. 

Macklin earned all-region player distinction for leading the team with nine assists and 23 points while scoring seven goals. He was also named to the All-Liberty League Team as a junior and senior.

Additional coaching roles for Macklin include three years in the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP). He also played with Kingston Stockade FC, a semi-professional club based in Kingston, New York, that participates in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). In 2017, Macklin helped the team to its first-ever North Atlantic Division championship and qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. While with Stockade, Macklin was selected to the NPSL National Team of the Week the week they won their championship.

Macklins connection to Singapore started in 2019 when he was a player for Singapore Football Club, the top amateur club in Singapore, that compete in the prestigious Cosmopolitan League. He was also the head coach for the teams campaign in the ESPZEN League and Tournament. In one season, Macklin led the team to the championship of the ESPZEN Tournament and a runner-up finish in the ESPZEN League.

TJ Kostecky arrived at Bard in July of 2019.

He came to Bard after 20 years as the head coach at Div. I LIU-Brooklyn, where he led the Blackbirds to the 2018 NCAA Tournament in his final season there. During his tenure there, he won three Northeast Conference titles, made three NCAA Tournament appearances and was the NEC Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2018.

As successful as his teams have been on the pitch, Kosteckys squads were also devoted in the classroom. His 2003 & 2012 teams posted the highest team grade point average in the nation. The 2008 & 2015 squads was awarded the NEC Team Academic Award for posting the highest GPA among mens soccer teams in the conference. The 2011 & 2013 teams were distinguished by the conference with the NEC Sportsmanship Award.

Kostecky has a proven track record of rebuilding programs, having engineered successful turnarounds at each of his prior coaching stops. Prior to LIU, he took over an Appalachian State program in Boone, N.C., that had suffered four consecutive losing seasons prior to Kosteckys hiring in 1998. In his only season at the school, he led the Mountaineers to a 13-8 mark in 1998, marking the best first-year record for a coach in the programs history of over 40 years. For his efforts, he was named Southern Conference Coach of the Year.

Kostecky arrived in Boone following a successful run as head coach and director of athletics at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, N.C., from 1994-97. He was handed the reins of a program that had suffered eight straight losing seasons before he led the team to a 46-25-7 record and captured two Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference championships. Kostecky was named CVAC Coach of the Year in 1997 and mentored one All-American and nine all-conference honorees during his tenure.

He began his collegiate coaching career at New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he led the Highlanders from 1988-93. NJIT compiled a 67-37-11 mark in his six years, capturing conference championships in 1991 and 1992 and making four ECAC postseason trips. Kosteckys accomplishments at NJIT came in his native New Jersey, where he starred scholastically at Woodbridge Township High School.

Tactically, Kosteckys attacking practice sessions involve a system called Vision Training that he and business partner Len Bilous developed several years ago. This method helps players make smart, well-informed decisions by improving their field vision.

A featured clinician around the world, Kostecky conducted a coaching seminar in Masku, Finland, in March of 2005 on Vision Training. In early 2005, he released a video under the same name for players and coaches to use. Since its release, it has become one of the most requested coaching video's in the country and abroad.


TJ is currently finishing up a self-help book through Benbella books publishing  that's set to be released in the winter of 2023. The title of the book is "Eyes up! A soccer guru's guide to scoring big in the game of life". 

Throughout his career, Kostecky has been an instrumental figure in facilitating the growth of soccer in America. From 1987-94 he was a coach for New Jerseys Olympic Development Team and was responsible for the training and selection of the states top players for the United States National Team. When he accepted his post at Pfeiffer, he filled a similar role with North Carolinas Olympic Development squad. Several of the players he mentored have played succeeded at the international level, including former U.S. National Team captain Claudio Reyna, and moved onto professional leagues such as Major League Soccer.

Kostecky has also worked with U.S. Mens and Womens National Team members, including Julie Foudy, a captain of the 1999 Womens World Cup Champions. He conducted an instructional clinic for inner city children at the 1998 NCAA Division I Championships in Richmond, Va., for the NCAA Youth Education Through Sports Program and was again a guest clinician for YES at the 1999 and 2000 NCAA Championships.

In 1989, Kostecky founded Soccer Start, a youth soccer program for inner city children. He served as the programs National Chairman until 1993. The program continues to identify and cultivate the abundance of talent in the inner-cities. He was appointed World Cup 94 Committee Chair by then New Jersey Governor Jim Florio and coordinated training site activities in the Metropolitan area for each international team.

A former all-state performer at Woodbridge, he was inducted into the schools Hall of Fame in 1995. He played midfield on the mens soccer team at East Stroudsburg University and received a bachelors degree in health and physical education in 1983. He completed his masters degree at East Stroudsburg in the same field in 1992.

Josh Hill became the head coach of the CSUSB men's soccer program in the summer of 2021.

Hill arrived most recently from San Diego State where he spent three seasons enters with the men' soccer program. One of the top young assistants on the West Coast, Hill was promoted to Associate Head Coach following the 2018 season.

Hill was instrumental to the Aztecs' recent recruiting success and is one of the main reasons the 2019 class was ranked No. 10 in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer. For his efforts, Hill was recognized by TDS as an "Assistant Coach to Watch."

A native of Chino, California, Hill has experience from the collegiate level to the USL Premier Development League (PDL).  He is a native of the Inland Empire and well connected throughout, serving as a talent identification and scouting expert in the area with a USSF Talent ID and Scouting License.  Hill takes over a program at CSUSB that finished fifth nationally in 2019, their last season of competition.  Former head coach [Darren Leslie](https://www.csusbathletics.com/coaches.aspxrc=477) recently accepted an assistant coach position at the University of the Pacific.

Prior to coming to SDSU, he was an assistant coach at UCLA in 2016 after serving the Bruins' director of soccer operations in 2015. During Hill's tenure at UCLA, the Bruins led the Pac-12 with 17 all-conference selections overall and helped UCLA advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in both years.

Prior to his arrival in Westwood, Hill worked as assistant coach for his alma mater the University of La Verne (2014-15) while serving as head coach at Chino High School from 2010-16, where he guided the Cowboys to numerous tournament titles, league championships, as well as the CIF state finals.

In addition, Hill has been an assistant coach for the OC Blues (now known as OCSC) of the USL and then for the PDL's Orange County Blue Stars FC (2012-14), who he helped lead to consecutive appearances at the Lamar U.S. Open Cup.

Hill plays a large role with US Soccer where he scouts regionally and nationally while also working with the national teams.

A four-year starter and scholar-athlete at the University of La Verne, Hill was a three-time team captain for the Leopards, garnering a trio of all-conference scholar accolades from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) as well. He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration before receiving his Masters of Science in leadership and management.

As a player at the club level, Hill also completed stints with Legends FC and Arsenal FC. In addition, he played for PSA Elite, an annual contender in the U.S. Open Cup. Previously, Hill helped assemble one of the most successful amateur sides in U.S. Soccer, as PSA Elite made consecutive Round of Four appearances at the U.S. Open Cup in 2014 and 2015, losing only to Major League Soccer powers Seattle Sounders and LA Galaxy.

Hill currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "B-National" license and is on track to finish his A-License when the COVID-19 Pandemic allows. He has also served as a Nike All-Star Coach, a youth development coach and mentor.

Mike Ditta is in his seventh year as an assistant coach at UC Irvine after joining the program from Santiago Canyon College in 2008 where he was an assistant coach.
Since joining the program in 2009, the 'Eaters have been Big West regular season and tournament champions three times each and made four NCAA Tournament appearances which included Sweet Sixteen berths in each of last two. The program has been named a top-30 recruiting class in 2010 and 2011.

Ditta has been the Director of Coaching for the Pateadores Soccer Club since 2005. He also had great success at the high school level where he won CIF Championships with the girls team at Riverside Polytechnic in 1994 and with the boys team at West Covina South Hills in 1999. He is currently the head coach of the Woodbridge High School girls team, and has been since 2013.
Ditta played two seasons with the Los Angeles Salsa Soccer Club for the Third Division Los Angeles Cobras from 1993-95 where he earned All-Tournament honors at the national championships. He later played two seasons at Vanguard University where he earned league and regional honors.
 
Ditta concluded his playing career at Azusa Pacific University where he earned his bachelors degree in sociology. He later completed his M.S. degree in education administration from National University in 2004 and was awarded his USSF A License in 2006.

Joey O'Keefe

Throughout O'Keefe's career as the Biola men's soccer head coach, he has instructed one United Soccer Coaches Association Scholar All-American, three United Soccer Coaches Association All-West Region players, three D2CCA All-West Region selections, one PacWest Defender of the Year, one PacWest Newcomer of the Year, one PacWest Freshman of the Year, eight All-PacWest selections, one PacWest Player of the Week, and 20 Academic All-PacWest players. 

2021 was a special year for O'Keefe and the Eagles as they paved the way for future soccer generations with a historic 2021 season. O'Keefe led the men's soccer team to their highest conference placement since 2015 (third place) and first ever NCAA West Regional where they played one match against Cal Poly Pomona.

O'Keefe's program was showered with well-deserved awards for an epic 2021 season. He received three of the PacWest's four major individual awards, including Defender of the Year (Izaac Zausch), Newcomer of the Year (Theo Le Calve), and Freshman of the Year (Adam Jones). He proceeded to bring in eight all-conference selections, three all-region picks, one First Team All-American, and 20 Academic All-PacWest players. 

Biola received All-Region nods from two publications and one All-American achievement under O'Keefe's lead in the 2021 campaign. The D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches Association recognized Zausch as First Team All-Region. The United Soccer Coaches later named Zausch a Scholar All-American. Le Calv and Lawarence Kwazema were highlighted separately as Second Team All-Region picks from both associations.

Prior to returning to Biola, O'Keefe spent two seasons at Westcliff, helping the Warriors to a 19-6-4 combined overall record. O'Keefe was instrumental for the Warriors, coaching the inaugural men's and women's soccer teams in 2019. The pair of teams found immediate success with O'Keefe at the helm, holding a combined .863 winning percentage.

O'Keefe returns to the Eagles after playing four seasons for Biola during his collegiate career. O'Keefe earned three All-GSAC awards, a GSAC Player of the Year award, as well as a NAIA First Team All-American award as a student-athlete at Biola. 

In his playing career, O'Keefe played in the PDL for three seasons before signing a contract to play professionally in Salzburg, Austria. Since returning back to the States, O'Keefe has worked with the LA Galaxy traveling internationally to scout talent to bring back to the Galaxy 2 USL squad.

O'Keefe also made an impact for the soccer program at Pacifica Christian High School. As the team's head coach, O'Keefe earned a trio of coach of the year awards from 2017-2020.

He has this to say about rejoining Biola Athletics:
"I graciously accept the stewardship role that I have been given and I intend on developing generations of quality student-athletes that Biola can be proud of. Erick Lemus is in his first season at Cal State LA joining after joining after 2 seasons as the assistant coach for the University of Illinois Springfield mens soccer program.

In his first season as a Prairie Star, Lemus helped UIS go 4-4-3 during its shortened 2021 spring campaign. UIS had one of the top defenses in the nation, allowing just seven goals in 11 games. It reached the GLVC postseason tournament, and had one player named to the all-conference squad.

In his second season, Lemus helped UIS go 13-6-2 during the 2021 fall campaign. UIS reached many program firsts while Lemus was a part of the program including: first Conference Tournament win, First Conference Final Appearance, First NCAA Tournament Appearance and win, and the first ever National Ranking.

 
Lemus was an assistant coach at Marymount University during the 2019 season. He helped that team go 12-7-1 on the year and reach the conference tournament championship game. The Mariners ranked in the upper half of the league by allowing 1.74 goals per game, and goalie Ramon Garcia was named second-team all-conference.
 
Lemus was an assistant coach for the mens and womens soccer teams at the University of Hawaii at Hilo from 2015-18. In 2018, he helped the womens squad accomplish the best record in program history at 10-4-2, and it finished second in the Pacific West Conference. He coached the goalie that year to the second-best GAA record in program history with a 0.60 mark. On the mens side, Lemus developed the programs goalie into setting the program record for saves. In his four seasons coaching at Hawaii at Hilo, his goalies earned five Womens PacWest Defender of the Week awards and three Mens PacWest Defender of the Week honors.
 
Other coaching stops included being the head coach at the high school level at Mary Star of the Sea High School and Waiakea High School, and a club coach for Hawaii Rush and FRAM Soccer Club. He is also currently coaching at SASA Spirits and Central Illinois United, and is a coach for the Impact Goalkeeper Academy.
 
Lemus played one season at Franklin Pierce before transferring to Hawaii at Hilo. In 2014, he recorded a 1.41 GAA and had 24 saves in 12 matches. In high school, he played at Junipero Sierra in Gardena, Calif. He was once named the leagues MVP goalkeeper, and led the team to two league titles.
 
Lemus is certified with a US Soccer C License, and is currently working on the B license. He attended the International Goalkeeper Coaches Conference in Los Angeles in December 2019.

An award-winning coach with NCAA Division I experience, Dallas Jaussi returns for his sixth year with the Cal State LA mens soccer coaching staff.

Jaussi continues as the lead assistant for the Golden Eagles, handling recruiting, admissions, all program logistics, and day to day operations. Jaussi is also the lead scout for all Cal State LA opponents, a role he has had since 2018.

He earned a promotion with added responsibilities after helping the Golden Eagles win a national championship in 2021 and he helped lead the program in 2022 when Cal State LA had another outstanding season in defense of its national title.

Jaussi helped the Golden Eagles to a 15-2-3 overall record in 2022 that included a second straight California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament championship and the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Super Region 4 for a second straight season.

In his first four seasons with the program, Jaussi has helped the Golden Eagles to an overall record of 67-8-12, including a 36-2-7 mark in conference play. In that span, Cal State LA has won one national title, two Super Region 4 titles, two CCAA regular-season titles and three CCAA Tournament crowns.

Jaussi was a key part of the United Soccer Coaches 2021 National Staff of the Year that directed Cal State LA to its first-ever NCAA championship. The coaching staff did a magnificent job navigating through a missed season of competition in 2020 due to COVID and then promptly returning to championship form in 2021.

The Golden Eagles captured all four championships available to them the CCAA regular-season and tournament titles, a second straight NCAA Super Region 4 title and then the NCAA Division II title in Colorado Springs, Colo. Cal State LA finished the season with an 18-2-3 overall record.

Jaussi helped the Golden Eagles to a historic season in 2019. Cal State LA won CCAA and Super Region 4 championships and advanced to the national championship game. The Golden Eagles set a new program record for winning percentage after a sensational 19-1-3 campaign. Cal State LA reached the national title game for the first time since 1981.

In his first year at Cal State LA, Jaussi helped the Golden Eagles continue their high level of success. Cal State LA won its second straight CCAA Tournament title and finished the season with a 15-3-3 overall record. The Golden Eagles reached the second round of the NCAA playoffs.

Before coming to Cal State LA, Jaussi was an assistant coach and director of operations at UC Irvine for three seasons. As an assistant, he would help plan all training sessions as well as coach during those sessions. He would assist with game day tactical strategies, all game day operations and be a point of contest for visiting teams. As director of operations, Jaussi would submit and save all training sessions, lead youth camps, connect with alumni and plan team events.

Jaussi helped coach and develop three All-Big West Conference first team selections, five second-team selections and three All-Freshman team selections. That list included Giovanni Godoy, who was the Big West Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2017.

He is a head coach and college recruitment advisor for California Football Academy and an assistant varsity coach for Newport Harbors girls team.

His college playing career included stops at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where he played for his first two seasons, and then Southern Virginia University, where he led the program in scoring as a sophomore and earned academic honors.

Jaussi was a member of the Madison Dragons FC in 2007-09. He also had trials with the MLS sides Seattle Sounders FC, Portland Timbers and Kitsap Pumas in 2009.

Fred Jungemann begins his tenth season as head coach of the Cal Poly Humboldt mens soccer program. He has compiled a 53-72-10 record with the Lumberjacks.

During this past season, Jungemann led the 'Jacks to a 10-5-2 including a a No. 14 national ranking in the United Soccer Coaches/NCAA Diivision II Poll.  Three players were named to the All-West Region Team in Marco Silveira (First Team), Adrian Gallardo (Third Team) and Dylan Tovani (Third Team).  Silveira was a First Team All-CCAA honoree while Tovani and Gallardo were Second Team selections.  Three 'Jacks earned Honorable Mention honors in Christian Gonzalez, Devin Hauenstein and Motoki Sato.  For the second in three years, Humboldt men's soccer had the recipient of the Outstanding Athlete in Excellence award for the institution, this year in Motoki Sato.  Dylan Tovani was the recipient of the CCAA Dr. Hal Charnofsky Award.  

led HSU to a 15-7-2 home record during the 2018, 2019 and 2021 seasons.  His 2019 squad was one of the nation's most offensive teams while his 2018 team finished the year on a three-game winning streak. During the pandemic year, Motoki Sato was named the 2020 CCAA Championship Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete while Dylan Tovani and Devin Hauenstein were named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team. 

During the 2019 season, three Lumberjacks earned All-Conference honors in Isaiah Dairo (First Team), Gus Baxter (Honorable Mention) and Devin Hauenstein (Honorable Mention).  Dairo earned All-Region honors.

In 2018, Gus Baxter received a Second Team All-Conference nod as Bryan Hernandez, Ethan Waters, and Martin Calderon each earned Honorable Mention accolades.

During the 2017 season, Jungemann guided the Jacks to their second eight-win campaign during his tenure. HSU captured a trio of thrilling home victories against conference opponents with wins over Sonoma State, Cal State Los Angeles and Cal State San Marcos. Five Jacks earned All-CCAA honors for their efforts. Isaiah Dairo, Christopher Cherms, Mumbi Kwesele, Tyler Guptil and Cameron Spencer each received all-conference recognition.

Jungemann guided the Green and Gold to their first winning season since 2006 when he led the Jacks to an 8-7-2 record during the 2014 campaign. The team was led by NSCA All-Region selection Chuck Pitts who led the Jacks in point (19), goals (eight), shots on goal (20) and shots (40). Three HSU soccer players earned All-CCAA honors with Austin Swartz and Ryan Connor collecting awards with Pitts. The season featured a pair of four-match winning streaks, and HSU finished 4-6-1 in conference play.

In his first season on the North Coast, Jungemann coached the Jacks to a 6-11-1 mark. Senior Zach Hammond was tabbed an NSCA All-Region selection under Jungemanns leadership. Hammond led the CCAA in goals (14), points (32) and shots (60).

Jungemann joined Humboldt after spending the six years at NCAA Division II Barry University in Florida. Jungemann was the head coach of the women's soccer program at Barry, posting a 44-54-4 record in his six seasons leading the Buccaneers, and he guided them to a NCAA Regional bid in 2012. Prior to joining Barry, Jungemann spent two seasons as the assistant men's and women's coach at California State Los Angeles.

While at Cal State LA, he helped lead both men and women's teams to great success. With Jungemann's assistance, the Golden Eagles men's soccer team completed its most successful season in 12 years by winning the CCAA South Division title and reaching the second round of the NCAA Division II National Tournament.

Prior to his stint at Cal State LA, Jungemann spent seven years coaching at the Division II and junior college levels on the West Coast. From 2002-04, Jungemann served as the assistant coach to the Sonoma State University men's soccer team for three seasons. During his tenure at SSU, the Seawolves earned two CCAA North Division titles and won the NCAA Far West Region Championship.

Most notably, the Seawolves claimed the NCAA Division II National Championship title in 2002 with Jungemann aboard. In 2001, Jungemann was the assistant coach to the men's soccer team at Grand Canyon University.

Jungemann also spent three seasons on the coaching staff at Phoenix College (1998-2000). He spent one year as the assistant coach to both men and women's team before becoming the women's head coach for the 1999-2000 seasons. Under his leadership, the Bears qualified for the playoffs in both seasons for the first time in five years.

He coached high school soccer in the Phoenix area from 1995-99, including leading Arizona Boy's Ranch High to the state soccer title and Moon Valley High to a boys state soccer runner-up finish.

Jungemann played eight years with professional and semi-professional teams in the CISL, USISL, and WSL, primarily in Arizona, as well as two years on the collegiate level at Glendale Community College and Scottsdale Community College. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Integrative Studies from Arizona State.

Greg Mulholland

Since taking over as interim then full head coach in 2017, Greg Mulholland is 71-13-8 with five RMAC Regular-Season titles, four RMAC Tournament titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances. He initially joined the Orediggers in 2007 as the program's assistant coach.


Mulholland's most recent conference titles came in 2019 as he guided Mines to a historic sweep of the RMAC crowns. The Orediggers finished the season 15-4-4 overall and 10-1-3 in RMAC play. Mulholland led Mines to the NCAA Tournament for a third straight year and advanced to the Sweet 16 thanks to a 2-1 win over #1-ranked Azusa Pacific on its home turf. The Orediggers' also took down Texas A&M-International in the first round of the NCAA postseason before falling to Cal State San Bernardino in the third round.

In 2018, Mulholland led Mines to another NCAA Tournament appearance after going 18-2-1 overall and 13-0-1 in RMAC play. Six Orediggers were named All-RMAC including Jason Zobott as RMAC Defensive Player of the Year. Mulholland also coached five players to all-region honors with John Haist earning South Central Regional Player of the Year distinction for a second straight year. Additionally, Zobott and Haist were named all-America with Zobott and Ben Overholt earning Google Cloud Academic All-America honors. Under Mulholland, Mines broke or tied 10 program records and added seven new listings to the Oredigger record book in 2018.

Under the interim tag in 2017, Mulholland led the Orediggers to the NCAA Sweet 16 after winning a RMAC Regular-Season and Tournament titles, going 17-4-1 overall and 13-1-0 in RMAC play. Under Mulholland's guidance. John Haist and Nikolaus Grotz earned two All-America nods each. Haist was named D2CCA Regional Player of the Year, RMAC Player of the Year and RMAC Tournament MVP after scoring the second-most goals in the country (22).

Since joining the staff in 2007, Mulholland has aided Mines to a cumulative record of 128-55-22 as well as four NCAA tournament berths, three RMAC Tournament titles and the 2010, 2015 and 2017 RMAC regular season championships.


In 2017 the team compiled a 17-4-1 record with RMAC regular season and tournament titles and a #9 national finish.


The 2015 season was the best in program history as Mines completed an unbeaten regular season while capturing the RMAC regular-season and Tournament titles. Mines then went deep into the NCAA Tournament, winning the NCAA South Central regional title with a road win at Midwestern State before bowing out in overtime of the Elite Eight to Cal Poly Pomona. Mines ended the season 18-1-3 and was ranked #8 by the NSCAA.

The Orediggers closed the 2014 campaign 12-7-1 all seven losses were decided by one goal, including three in overtime and 9-5-0 in the RMAC for a second straight season.

Mines debuted No. 25 in the final regular season NSCAA top-25 following its third conference tourney crown in five years, a stirring 4-3 shootout decision against Colorado Colorado Springs in Grand Junction.

The men went 11-7-1 in 2013 and finished runner-up in the RMAC at 9-5-0, reaching No. 6 in the national poll before earning an at-large bid to their fifth NCAA tournament in program history and fourth since 2009.

Mines returned to the NCAA postseason for the fourth time in 2012, capturing the RMAC Tournament with a 4-3 upset of previously unbeaten and No. 1 Regis. Despite the toughest schedule in Division II, CSM closed at 14-5-2 (9-3-2 RMAC) and ranked No. 21 in the final NSCAA Top-25 Coaches Poll.

In the NCAA postseason for a second consecutive season in 2010, the men earned the programs first tournament win behind a 5-1 first round defeat of No. 11 Regis.

The Orediggers swept the RMAC regular season and tournament titles and ascended to No. 1 in the top-25 for the first time, eventually settling at No. 9 at 17-2-2 (12-1-1 RMAC). 

Prior to his arrival at Mines, Mulholland spent six years as the assistant and goalkeeper coach at Chatfield High School where he helped the program to a state championship in 2004 and numerous top-10 rankings. In addition, he was the Director of Goalkeeping for The Colorado Girls Soccer Academy from 2002-05.

He formerly served as team and goalkeeper coach for Real Colorado of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

A native of Littleton and graduate of Central Bucks East High School in Buckingham, Pennsylvania, Mulholland earned his bachelor's degree from Millersville (Pa.) in 2001.

I played my college call at Pacific University from 2003-2007 and was also a part of the PDL team Cascade Surge for two years. 

I have coached numerous high school teams and have been a club coach here in Oregon in the past. 

I reside in Cornelius Oregon with my wife and kids and am currently a High School teacher at a local high school in the area.

Evan Brandsdorfer was named Sarah Lawrence College mens soccer head coach in July of 2019. Brandsdorfer joined the Gryphons after spending the four years as an assistant coach at NCAA Division I Saint Peters University.

2019
Brandsdorfer led the Gryphons to new heights in 2019, leading the program to records in wins (6) and league victories (3). 

2021
This season showcased Brandsdorfer's ability to work with all positions, working with goalkeeper Kian Silva who would set the SLC single-season record for goals against average while finishing second in save percentage. 

2022
Brandsdorfer took an incredibly young team and put together one of the program's best seasons. The team set the program mark for winning percentage while there were some individual standout performers as well. Leon Bronshvag tied the SLC single-season assists record with six and Nicholas Fajardo earned a hat trick in an early-season win over Old Westbury.

Saint Peters posted 21 victories during Brandsdorfers tenure, highlighted by a conference playoff appearance and an eight-win campaign in 2018, the Peacocks most wins in a season since 2010. The Peacocks 21 wins are eight more than the previous four years combined before his addition to the staff. Brandsdorfer mentored five All-MAAC selections and two All-ECAC performers while in Jersey City.

Brandsdorfer was one of four mens collegiate coaches selected to the United Soccer Coaches 2018-19 Class of the 30 Under 30 Program. The class featured 15 men and 15 women that were selected from a pool of nearly 400 applicants. Launched in 2013, the 30 Under 30 Program is a year-long education and mentorship opportunity designed to support up-and-coming members of the coaching profession who are 30 years of age or younger.  

Prior to Saint Peters, Brandsdorfer served as an assistant coach at Division I NJIT for the 2014 season. He helped the Highlanders to a 7-8-4 overall mark and 2-3-0 record in the Sun Belt Conference. Brandsdorfer coached the Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year (Cristian Marcel) and the conference's Defensive Player of the Year (Marko Drljic).

Brandsdorfer also spent a season an assistant coach at Division II Drew in 2013, helping the squad to an 11-4-5 record. The Rangers finished 2-2-3 in the Landmark Conference and participated in the first round of the ECAC Tournament.

Brandsdorfer has also coached in the Premier Development League (PDL), serving as assistant coach for the Jersey Express. At the youth level, Brandsdorfer was an assistant coach for the National Champion u17 team at Cedar Stars Academy, and he has also coached at TSF Academy and the East Brunswick Soccer Club.

Brandsdorfer was a three-year member of the Division 1 Temple mens soccer team, where he appeared in 48 games. The Owls posted a 26-26-4 overall mark and 15-11-1 in league play in his three seasons. He started his collegiate career at North Florida in 2008. Following his collegiate career in the U.S., Brandsdorfer played a year of semipro soccer in Scotland.
 
Brandsdorfer graduated from Temple in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree and earned his Master's Degree from the University of Stirling in the United Kingdom in 2013.

Former Saint Patrick-Saint Vincent High School JV head coach, varsity assistant coach for the Bruins, and Cal Maritime women's soccer assistant coach Mike Carvalho became men's soccer's head coach in October, 2020.

The 2023-24 season is Carvalho's fourth leading Cal Maritime's men's soccer program. 

Before he entered his first season as head coach, Carvalho noted the obstacles and challenges of developing a new program, which prepped him for this new role, and highlighted his experience working alongside Coach Scheese since the program's inaugural season in 2018.

"Emily has been a great mentor, she allowed me the opportunity to develop the women's program with her. From the beginning, she encouraged my participation in program planning and coaching; I still remember our first practice and how excited the players and coaches were to be part of the school's first women's soccer team.

Carvalho added, "My coaching philosophy includes a lot of knowledge, ideas and principles learned from Coach Scheese."

"I am excited to see Mike officially on staff as men's soccer's head coach," said Scheese. "He has already proven his dedication to the growth of our women's soccer program by his contributions of time, soccer knowledge, and I look forward to what the men's program will accomplish with a mentor that keeps each cadet at the forefront of why we coach here. I'm glad we will collaborate to see both teams improve and grow."

Carvalho has coached hundreds of players in youth and adult competitive soccer, working with over 30 club and high school teams while winning three state cups and several league championships. throughout his career.

"Players need to understand not only the roles and responsibilities of each position," explained Carvalho, "but how all the positions can work together to defend against opponent attacks and how to transition into an attack that creates scoring opportunities." 

The Benecia resident added, "I want to develop a program where I can build on the talents and skills of our new and returning players by creating a structured soccer program. I hope to accomplish this by implementing a methodology of predictive play, constant player communication on and off the field, and using the best practices in technical, tactical, and systemic soccer training. I believe every player needs to be a student of the game.

"As head coach, I look forward to leading this fine group of cadets and teaching our players a game I truly love and appreciate."

Carvalho, a Western Governors University MBA / Southern Illinois University-Carbondale alum, obtained all three United Soccer Coach Credentials NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and NSCAA Premier Diploma in addition to a Master Coach Diploma, the highest United Soccer Coaches certification. Licensed by the U.S. Soccer Federation as a referee since 2007.

Outside of his coaching duties and responsibilities, Carvalho manages the cloud technology infrastructure team at AC Transit in Oakland as the IT Manager of Cloud Infrastructure.

Josh Glove is an Assistant Coach at CBU Mens Soccer

In 2022, the Lancers finished with a 11-7-3 record and placed fifth in the conference. In their first year eligible for the WAC Tournament, CBU hosted the tournament and went on a historic run, beating #4 Utah Valley, #1 Air Force, and #2 San Jose State to claim the Championship. In the championship game vs San Jose State it came down to penalty kicks were Tournament MOP Nolan Premack blocked the first attempt to set up the 3-1 victory. The CBU-hosted tournament set a conference record for attendance with 1,416.

The Lancers claimed the auto bid and competed in their first NCAA Tournament were they drew UCLA and lost in a close game 2-1 in Westwood. CBU received five All-WAC selection in 2022 with Thomas Beecham and Bryan Iliohan named to the First Team, David Cordes and Luis Mueller named to the Second Team, and Adolfo Pino landing on the All-Freshman team.

Glover was most recently part of the Biola University coaching staff, helping the Eagles to an 11-7 overall record and the program's first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.

Josh began his soccer career on the pitch playing for Westmont College in Santa Barbara, a former Golden State Athletic Conference foe of California Baptist from the Lancers NAIA playing days. Over two seasons representing the Warriors Josh claimed a 15-13-2 record between the sticks, recording seven individual shutouts and sharing another two, while making 112 saves in the offense heavy GSAC. His final season in Santa Barbara produced First Team All-GSAC honors after allowing just 1.05 goals-per-game.

From there he moved into a professional career, first playing for the Concord Rangers of the National South League (England) and then Lowestoft Tower of the Southern Football League, Premier Central (England). He also made semi-pro stops in the United States, playing for the Southern California Seahorses of the United Soccer League 2 and the Orange Country Football Club of the National Premier Soccer League.

Josh is someone who is passionate about Christ, football and people, and the opportunity to combine the three to coach and invest in elite athletes for Jesus is what drew him to CBU. The ability to daily seek the Lord, strive to equip and empower young men, and do so through the platform of football is one that motivates and inspires him on a daily basis.

Michael D'Arrigo is in his 4rd season with the UCSD Tritons. He has over a decade of coaching experience. He is also the Technical Director and Director of Goalkeeping at SD Force FC. Previous schools and clubs he has coached for include Paradise Valley Community College, Miramar Community College, Phoenix Rush, San Diego Surf, San Diego Soccer Club, Scripps Ranch Soccer Club, Matrix SC, RSF Attack Soccer Club, and SD Force, and runs his own goalkeeper training business where he works with over 150+ players.

He graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego where he was a four-year starter for the Toreros. D'Arrigo is in the top 10 in numerous statistical categories and also went to the Elite-8 in 2012. After graduating he spent time playing professionally for the New England Revolution (MLS) and Arizona United now Phoenix rising (USL-PRO). As a youth, Michel won several State, Regional, and National Championships with Real Salt Lake, Cisco SC, Catalina Foothills HS, and the U18 USMNT.

Hotalings duties include coordinating the programs recruiting efforts, team travel, and scouting, while also working on developing the UC Davis goalkeepers. Jason has been on my staff for many years, working his way up from a volunteer assistant to his new position as the associate head coach, Head Coach Dwayne Shaffer said. He has been instrumental in the development of our outstanding goalkeepers throughout the years and will now assume more responsibility in helping take our program to the next level. Hotaling has helped engineer the Aggies successful transition to the Division I level and the always difficult Big West Conference, helping lead UC Davis to a 94-89-35 overall record in his 11 seasons, with a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances in 2007 (first round) and 2008 (second round) and five consecutive trips to the Big West Tournament, winning the conferences North Division and earning a spot into the tournaments championship match in 2012, while gaining the semifinals in 2011, 2013, and 2015. Under his tutelage, 31 student-athletes have been named to the various All-Big West teams, including five first-team honorees. In only its second full season of play at the Division I level, Hotaling also helped tutor a pair of NSCAA All-Americans in 2008, as Quincy Amarikwa and Dylan Curtis earned second- and third-team honors, respectively. Four other student-athletes: Amarikwa (2008, first team), Dylan Curtis (2008, first team), Brian Ford (2012, third team), and Omar Zeenni (2013, second team), have also been named to the NSCAA All-Far West Region squad during his time on the sidelines. In net, Hotaling has coached some of the Aggies best goalkeepers, including UC Davis first Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honoree in Zeenni following the 2013 season. The record-setting keeper set school career marks for shutouts (18) and saves (220), while ranking second all-time in goals against average (0.98) -- totals that also rank him among the Big Wests all-time best following his career. The 2008 season saw goalkeeper Ryan McCowan allow a program Division I record-low 20 goals (while leading the Big West with a 0.87 GAA), a mark that was later equalled in 2012 behind the combined efforts of Zeenni and Kris Schlutz, while his keepers have posted a sub-1.00 team goals against average on three occasions, including in each of the last two seasons. The Aggies goalkeepers have also stopped better than 70 percent of the shots against them in five of his nine seasons, including a Division I-record .780 in 2012. In addition to this duties at UC Davis, Hotaling works as a head coach for the U14 Boys team at FC Elk Grove and with the Olympic Development Program in District 6, coaching and developing players while serving as a state evaluator. He also holds a B license, along with an advanced national coaching license and a goalkeeper license, with the NSCAA and has taken leadership and management courses along the way. After his collegiate playing career at Santa Rosa Junior College and Chico State, Hotaling was a member of the Chico Rooks of the Premier Development League. He then returned to his hometown of Rohnert Park, Calif., where he finished his undergraduate degree at Sonoma State in 1997. Hotaling majored in speech communication with a minor in English. Cody Carlson stepped into the newly formed role of full-time Assistant Mens Soccer Coach under the direction of Head Coach Ralph Perez in July 2018. 

Most recently, Carlson served as the Director of Operations for Mens Soccer at the University of Portland.  He contributed to the Pilots tied-for-second-place showing in the West Coast Conference by assisting with equipment management, video analysis, camp development, team travel, among other things. He also coached the U-12 and U-15 boys age groups at FC Portland and won the 2018 Presidents Cup in Oregon with the U-15 team. 

A student of the game, he currently holds his United States Soccer Federation B Coaching License and was recently named the Head Coach for Redlands F.C., which competes in USL League 2.

Carlson originally worked with the Bulldogs from 2014 to 2017, both as a graduate assistant and then in a part-time role.  While at Redlands, he helped the squad gain its highest national ranking ever when it reached No. 7 upon conclusion of the 2016 campaign.  The Bulldogs captured the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) regular-season championship each of his three seasons while also securing the SCIAC Postseason Tournament title in 2015 and 2016.  The Maroon and Gray advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals in 2016 to better the squads second-round appearance from the previous year. Carlson was among the 2015 SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-West Region Staff of the Year in 2015 and 2016. 

Overall, Carlson assisted in the development and success of 12 All-SCIAC players, one SCIAC Athlete of the Year, and eight NSCAA All-West Region selections.  With academics as a priority, he also coached three NSCAA Scholar All-Americans and a pair of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honorees.

In addition to coaching, Carlson completed his Master of Arts in Management through the School of Business at the University of Redlands.

In 2016, Carlson also served as the Head Coach of the Redlands High School boys varsity team.  In that one year, he elevated the Terriers from eighth place in the Citrus Belt League to third place while also making the CIF playoffs.  Finally, he gained coaching experience by leading the IER Pateadores B2000s and Riverside Coras of the NPSL.

Carlson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Redlands in 2012. As a four-year student-athlete, he competed for the Bulldog mens soccer program and earned significant awards along the way. His presence on the field was unmatched during the 2011 season, as the Bulldog forward earned the 2011 SCIAC Athlete of the Year award.   In addition, he was a three-time First-Team All-Conference selection and landed on the NSCAA All-West Region team on three occasions.  After the 2010 season, he became an NSCAA All-American.

During his tenure, the Bulldogs won the SCIAC Championship in three of his four seasons and twice advanced to the NCAA Championships.  As a senior, Carlson played an integral role in the teams 16-game win streak en route to an NCAA Sweet 16 run.

Furthermore, he shined in the classroom, earning 2011 CoSIDA Academic All-District honors and 2011 NSCAA Scholar All-America accolades.

He currently resides in Redlands.

Pitcock is in his sixth season as an assistant coach and second as the associate head coach.

Has been instrumental in a strong recruiting effort that has refilled the roster with talent from top to bottom.
He had served as a graduate assistant for the Cowboys after a successful career at HSU from 2010-2014.
Currently serves as director of coaching for Sting West Texas.
Director for Stars n' Stripes International Soccer Tours. 
Coached the finalist Denton Diablos U13 Academy in the summer of 2021 in the Monterrey Cup of Mexico.

Pitcock was a team captain for HSU and was an all-ASC and all-region player.
He was also a two-time CoSIDA academic all-district selection, a three-time academic all-ASC selection and was a two-time American Southwest Conference Distinguished Scholar-Athlete for mens soccer.
He played professionally in Switzerland in 2015 with FC Bern in Erste Liga.
Had trials with FC Jammerbugt of Denmark, FC Nordsjaelland of Denmark, and spent summers training with BK Hacken of Sweden, Odder IGF of Denmark, and FC Koniz of Switzerland.
He played with Texas Football Club in the United Soccer League (USL) Super-20 (Semi-Pro) Summer League 2011 and 2012 (National Semifinalists in Sarasota, Florida in 2011). 
Has a bachelor's degree in Economics with a Business Administration and Exercise Science minor from HSU. Also has a MBA from Hardin-Simmons.

Assistant Mens Coach Marco Marquez has several accolades from his early years of playing. He attended Bishop Mora Salesian High School where he helped them win a CIF and State championship. After high school, Coach Marco played college soccer at East Los Angeles College and then transferred to Holy Names University in Oakland to play NCAA Division II.

Assistant Mens Coach Marco is looking to strengthen newly built mens program.
