Chris Stelma was hired as the Head Oakland Softball Coach ahead of the 2025 season.
Prior to Oakland, Stelma served an eight-year tenure (2016-2024) at the helm of the Saint Peter's University Softball program. While the leader of Peacocks, Stelma saw a great deal of success, sitting second in all-time wins at Saint Peter's. As 2022 MAAC Coach of the Year, Stelma took a team that went 2-28 in 2021 and guided them to an unprecedented jump where they improved by 20 games to go 22-33 in 2022. He followed up in 2023 by leading the Peacocks to a 30-21 record, achieving the program's first back-to-back 20-win seasons and first 30-win season since 2002.
In a three-season stretch from 2022 to 2024, Stelma led his team to 68 wins, the most over a three-year span at Saint Peter's since 2003. In 2024 he also coached three All-Conference and an impressive nine MAAC All-Academic student-athletes as well.
Stelma hopes to set fire to the bats of the Golden Grizzlies this season. In 2024 the Peacocks ranked among the best offenses in the MAAC, ranking third in batting average, hits, triples, and slugging percentage, while ending the season tied for first in doubles.

In addition to Napoleons coaching duties, he will serve as the programs video & camp coordinator.
Napoleon spent a brief stint at Concordia-Chicago coaching pitchers, and five seasons in Mount Berry, Georgia, at Berry College. There he served as the programs pitching coach, strength and conditioning coach, and video coordinator.
Prior to joining Berry College, Napoleon was a standout pitcher at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. In 2011, he earned second team All-Conference USA honors and became the first player in UAB history to be named Conference USAs Newcomer of the Year. As a senior at UAB, Napoleon put together a 5-4 mark on the mound and earned victories over three nationally ranked teams, including No. 5 Rice, No. 14 Central Florida and No. 16 Clemson.
Napoleon transferred to the Blazers after an All-American career at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois. In addition to earning NJCAA All-America honors at Heartland, he was named the Midwest Athletic Conference's Pitcher of the Year as a sophomore.
Napoleon earned his master's degree in Sports Leadership from Concordia Chicago in 2018, earned bachelors degree in Communication Management from the University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2012 and an associates degree from Heartland Community College in 2010.
Josh Laurie is in his first season as an Assistant Coach at Yale University. He is the programs assistant hitting coach and supports in recruiting efforts.
For the past two years, Laurie was the Hitting Coach at Alfred State where they completed the programs most successful seasons in the NCAA era. The Pioneers were the regular season conference champions in 2023. Statistically, the teams offense included: AVG .302 OBP .390 SLG .453 and hit 40 home runs in 42 games.
Laurie also played at Alfred State and started all four years for the Pioneers. He was named first-team All-Conference Utility Player in 2019 and served as a 3-year captain. In 2021 he was a recipient of the Pioneer Legacy college achievement award. After his time at Alfred, he continued his playing career in professional baseball for the Alpine Cowboys. He helped the Cowboys achieve two successful seasons as a middle-infielder where he hit a career average of .345.
Laurie is from Le Roy, NY, graduated from Le Roy High School, received B.S in business administration from Alfred State, and earned his MBA from Alfred University.

Wagner College baseball coach Craig Noto has announced the hiring of Matthew Johnson as the director of baseball operations for the 2024 season.
"Coach Johnson has been brought up in and around a great baseball culture," Noto said. "He is a serious young coach who has done a great job at St. Thomas Aquinas under the guidance of John Garvey. Offensively, Matt understands what hitters need to do to be successful in the box. On the recruiting trail, he has already proven to be very astute in his evaluations of players. I'm excited for Matt. He has a bright future in this game."
Johnson spent two years at Nyack College before transferring to St. Thomas Aquinas to finish out his final three years of eligibility. He totaled 174 hits and 108 RBIs during his collegiate career and was honored as an ECC All-Conference member in 2021 and 2022.
Following his playing career, Johnson joined the staff of St. Thomas Aquinas as a hitting coach. Across 50 games in 2023 the team averaged 6.64 runs per game under his guidance. The Spartans as a whole maintained a .283/.391/.416 slash line in Johnsons lone year as hitting coach.
As a result of the successful offense, six players received ECC All-Conference honors in 2023.

Calvin Peacock is in his first season with the Bradley baseball program as the teams volunteer assistant coach. Among his responsibilities on The Hilltop, Peacock will work with the outfielders and serve as BUs first-base coach.
Peacock joins the Braves after serving as head coach of the Normal CornBelters of the Prospect League a collegiate summer league throughout the Midwest. The youngest manager in Prospect League history, Peacock led the CornBelters to the playoffs after clinching the Great River Division title during the first-half of the 2021 campaign.
A native of Bartonville, Illinois, Peacock also served as pitching coach at Carl Sandburg College during the 2020 season, while leading the Hoots of the Kernels Collegiate League in the summer of 2020.
Peacock earned his bachelors degree in business marketing from Chicago State University, where he was a member of the baseball team and earned WAC All-Academic accolades. He was also a NJCAA Academic All-American during his time at Southeastern Illinois College.
Matt Morales is in his first season a volunteer assistant coach for UAB.
Morales arrives to UAB from Florida State University where he was a student assistant coach for the Seminoles during the 2021 season. Morales primarily worked with the FSU infielders, but also assisted in hitting and baserunning development. He worked with the coaching staff daily to assist with practice plans and scouting reports/analytics for upcoming opponents.
Prior to Florida State, Morales played three seasons of professional baseball and has a career MiLB batting average of .265. Morales finished five at-bats short of being in the top five for the Pioneer League batting title with a batting average of .358 for the season. Morales had stints in professional baseball with the Idaho Falls Chukars, Burlington Royals, Lexington Legends and the Saint Paul Saints.
A native of West Palm Beach, Fla., Morales began his collegiate career at Stetson University for the 2015-2016 season before transferring to Palm Beach State College. He was an All-Conference shortstop for the Panthers in 2017.
Originally drafted by the Washington Nationals out of high school in 2015, Morales went on to be drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 23rd round of the 2017 MLB Draft.
Morales earned his bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary social science at Florida State in July of 2021.

Kyle Sprague joined the University of Cincinnati baseball staff in the summer of 2017.
His work on offense came through the loudest during the team's historic 2019 season when the Bearcats' bats went on a torrential pace during the postseason. During the 4-0 AAC Tournament run, UC broke the tournament records for runs (51), RBI (47) and hits (60). Seven homeruns and four in the championship game were also AAC Tournament records. The 22-5 title win over UConn was the largest margin of victory ever in the tournament while they tied for the most number of hits in a game. Eleven different players got a hit during the 4-0 tournament week. All six all-tournament honorees were offensive players with slugger AJ Bumpass named tournament MVP.
During the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, UC ranked 12th in the nation in triples per game, 14th in doubles per game, 21st in on-base percentage, 30th in scoring and 31st in slugging percentage.
Sprague came to UC after two seasons on Head Coach Scott Googins staff at Xavier University as the volunteer assistant coach. Sprague directed XUs camps, assisted in all facets of the program and coached first base during games.
Kyle has been with me the past two years and is a great addition to our staff here at UC, Googins said. He brings a lot to the table - he does an unbelievable job with developing infielders and is on the cutting edge with hitters. He's a young up-and-coming coach who's very energetic and passionate about what he does.
During his two seasons at Xavier, the Musketeers won a BIG EAST Conference regular season championship (2016), two-straight league tournament championships (2016 & 17) and played in consecutive regional finals in the NCAA Championship (2016 & 17).
Sprague worked with hitters and infielders and assisted with outfielders at Xavier. The Musketeers set a school record with a .977 fielding percentage in 2017 after tying the previous record with a .974 mark in 2016.
He mentored six Xavier players who went on to play professionally, including:
2017 second-round selection Zac Lowther, eighth-rounder Rylan Bannon, 18th-round pick Garrett Schilling and 22nd-round choice Greg Jacknewitz. Dan Rizzie and Andre Jernigan were 13th and 14th-round picks in 2016.
Sprague has previous experience in the American Athletic Conference having served as a volunteer assistant coach at UCF in 2015.
At UCF, Sprague was in charge of the Knights' outfielders and coached first base during games, while aiding the development of the team's infielders and catchers along with hitting responsibilities. The Knights achieved a program-best No. 6 ranking during the 2015 campaign.
Sprague guided seniors JoMarcos Woods and Erik Barber in 2015 to career bests in the outfield and at the plate, garnering recognition on The American All-Conference team. Woods posted a .323 avg. with five homers and 32 RBI, while Barber compiled a .313 avg. and a team-high 11 homers.
Under Sprague in 2014, all three of the Knights outfielders - Erik Barber, Sam Tolleson and Derrick Salberg - were honored to one of The American's three all-conference teams. Salberg tallied a .992 fielding pct., while junior JoMarcos Woods led all position players with a .994 pct.
While at UCF, Sprague aided the development of four players - Eric Skoglund (3rd), Dylan Moore (7th), James Vasquez (25th) and Mitchell Tripp (36th) - who were all selected in the MLB Draft.
Before coming to Orlando, Sprague held the volunteer assistant position during the 2012-13 season at Gardner-Webb. While with the Runnin' Bulldogs, catcher John Harris was a Johnny Bench Award nominee and the team set a program best in fielding pct. at .969.
Sprague has extensive experience as a camp instructor, working at the Marc Wilkins Baseball Academy from 2007-12 and for Cal Ripken Baseball in 2009. He also has served as a camp instructor at Clemson, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, LSU and Mississippi State, among others.
The Mansfield, Ohio, native graduated from Malone (Ohio) University with degrees in business administration and sports management. He played collegiately at Malone and Tiffin University.

Sam Tinkham joined the Wofford baseball staff in the fall of 2018 as the volunteer assistant coach. He is in his third season working with the pitching staff along with Seth Cutler-Voltz.
Last season the team was 14-3 overall before the campaign was cut short. The Terriers had a 3.12 ERA which ranked fourth in the Southern Conference, and the 152 strikeouts were second in the league.
In the 2019 season Wofford won 36 games, tied for the second-most in school history. The 14-9 record in the Southern Conference to finish second overall, the highest in school history. In the Southern Conference Tournament, Wofford reached the championship series for the second time in school history before falling to Mercer. Seven Terriers earned All-Southern Conference honors, highlighted by Hayes Heinecke being named Freshman of the Year. Heinecke, Brett Rodriguez, John Dempsey, Hudson Byorick, Colin Davis and Mike Brown were named All-SoCon, with Heinecke, Dempsey and Matty Brown earning All-Freshman Team recognition. Heinecke and Dempsey added Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-America honors. The pitching staff posted an ERA of 4.27, which ranked fourth in the SoCon and was the lowest for the Terriers since 1983. The 492 strikeouts for the staff were the third-most in school history.
During the 2018 season he was the director of baseball operations at Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition to running the day-to-day operations of the program, he supervised the collection and analysis of advanced statistics from Trackman and Dartfish software. He helped organize and run both team and prospect camps, along with assisting in on campus recruiting. Tinkham was also responsible for planning all team travel arrangements.
He spent the 2017 season as the pitching coach at his alma mater, Grinnell College. Tinkham was responsible for developing, evaluating and instructing the pitching staff. He wrote preseason and in-season throwing programs to promote development and recovery. He coached five All-Conference selections, including two pitchers, and one All-Region selection.
Tinkham also spent a summer as the pitching coach at Baseball U CT, providing individual pitching instruction for all ages and teams during practices.
A native of Newington, Connecticut, Tinkham graduated from Grinnell College with a degree in history. While at Grinnell, he was a member of the baseball team and earned All-Conference honors twice. In 2014 he was named the Midwest Conference Pitcher of the Year and ABCA/Rawlings All-Region third team. He ranks fifth in program history in career wins and is second in career strikeouts. As team captain, he served as the liaison between the players and head coach. He also is completing a masters of education in sport leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Bennett Schiltz has been with the Wheaton College Thunder for two years. In his first year, 2019, the Thunder finished with 24 wins, which ties the school record. Wheaton pitchers improved in many statistical categories from the season before. The Thunder were 6-1 before the 2020 season was cut short. Schiltz has also coached at Frostburg State University and Washington College, both in Maryland.
After playing 2 years of professional baseball in the Baltimore Orioles organization, Mike Odenwaelder rejoined the Amherst College Baseball program as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator.
During his career at Amherst Odenwaelder was a part of some of Amherst Colleges most successful years in baseball, winning a NESCAC Championship, and appearing in 3 NCAA Regionals. Some of his accolades include: NESCAC Rookie of the Year, two-time NESCAC Player of the Year, two-time All-American, and ABCA Rawlings Gold Glove Award Winner. Following his junior season at Amherst, the Baltimore Orioles selected Odenwaelder in the 16th round of the MLB Draft.
Mike has experience working with athletes at all levels. During his off seasons he would train baseball players, both individuals and teams, ranging from middle school to colligate age athletes. Following his professional career, Mike took a job at the IMG Academy working in the Basketball Operations department, specially working with players preparing for the NBA Draft.

I am Cameron Hollins. I played collegiate baseball for 2 years at Tuskegee University. Immediately after finishing my playing career. I began coaching at Tuskegee University and am now entering my 3rd year as an assistant coach. For Tuskegee, I coach Infield, hitting, and assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Coach Bond grew up in Findlay, Ohio. A 2014 graduate of Liberty Benton High School. While there he was a member of both the baseball and football team.
After graduating, Bond attended Ashland University a D2 college in Ashland, Ohio graduating with a Bachelors degree in Sports Management. A 4 year member of the baseball program and part of 3 regional qualifying teams and a regional-up finish.
In 2019 was a Volunteer Assistant at Ashland for a 48-15 team that made a trip to the D2 World Series in Cary, NC and finished 5th in the country. Learning from ABCA HOFer John Schaly.
In 2020 became the Graduate Assistant at Union (KY) College a NAIA school in Barbourville, KY finishing the shortened season with a 15-8 record. Bond graduated with his Masters in Business Administration.
During those years, Bond worked for the summer organization Triple Crown Royals based out of Columbus, OH. Going from an assistant coach to vice president from 2019 through 2022.
After that stint, Bond took a job in Enid, Oklahoma at NOC-Enid a perennial power in Junior College baseball. Coaching a team to a regional final appearance in 2022 and a 3rd place finish in the regional tournament in 2023. Working primarily with outfielders and hitters. Over that time having multiple guys move on the 4-year institutions.
Bond got the opportunity to coach win the Northwoods League for the La Crosse Loggers following the success in Enid. With the Loggers working as the teams first base coach as well as working with position players and defensive alignments. Getting the opportunity to work with some of the best college baseball players in the country. The Loggers lost in the semi finals of the Northwoods League Championship.
Bond is now in his first year at the University of Findlay. Working primarily with hitters and outfielders.
Bond resides in Findlay, OH with his fiancée Taylor and their dog Nugget.

Barnett's team finished the season with a 29-23 overall record and a 14-10 mark in league play. The Saints finished third in the East Division and beat No. 18 North Georgia in the first round of the conference tournament. Prior to joining NCAA Division II and the Peach Belt, Barnett's teams qualified for conference and regional play 16-out-of-the-20 years as a member of the NAIA. The highest ranking the Saints achieved was No. 3 in the 2003 poll. The Saints were a game away from the NAIA World Series, finishing as runners-up in the regionals, in 1993 and 2002. During Barnetts tenure, 37 players have signed professional contracts. He has also seen three former players drafted in the first 10 rounds: Jim Woodrow by the San Francisco Giants in the fifth round (1995), Lonny Landry by the Detroit Tigers in the ninth round (1993) and Andrew "Opie" Brodbeck by the St. Louis Cardinals in the ninth round (2015). Chris Barnwell, a 25th Round selection of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2002, is the only Flagler player to reach the Major Leagues. Barnett has also coached numerous players who have garnered all-conference and all-America honors. Barnett has the unique distinction of playing and coaching at every level of the game. In 1983, he started his coaching career at Jacksonville's Episcopal High. After graduating with a bachelor's from Flagler, Barnett then served as an assistant at the University of Iowa (1984-86) while obtaining a master's in educational administration. He then moved back to Florida to assist at Valencia Community College. From there h e was a coach at the Boardwalk & Baseball facility in Haines City, Florida before accepting the head coaching position at Flagler in 1987. In the summer of 2002 and 2003, Barnett served as the manager of the Vermont Expos, a Class A affiliate of the Montreal Expos in the New York-Penn League. He also has international coaching experience as he assisted a group of collegiate players participating in Holland as part of the Dutch Haarlem Baseball Week. Barnett was the head coach of a group of high school all-stars who toured and competed against teams throughout Italy. As a collegiate player, he played at Seminole Community College in Sanford, Fla., before transferring to the University of North Carolina. He led the Tar Heels in batting average in 1978 and helped lead the team to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska where they finished in third place. Barnett signed a free agent contract with the Montreal Expos, and after one season he joined the world famous four-man fast-pitch softball team, "The King & His Court," which featured the legendary Eddie Feigner. He barnstormed the world from 1980-83, and again in 1988, as the team's shortstop. From 1994-2009, Barnett served the dual role of athletics director and baseball coach at Flagler. During his 15 years as athletics director, Flagler added women's golf, women's soccer and fast-pitch softball to the athletics program. He oversaw the construction of the baseball stadium (2000), the softball stadium (2008) and major renovations to the soccer field and Flagler Gym. During his tenure as athletics director, the program won two Florida Sun Conference Commissioner's Cups and Barnett was named NAIA Region XIV Athletics Director of the Year in 2001. He was instrumental in Flagler's transition to NCAA Division II.

MORAGA, Calif. Saint Mary's Baseball has hired Jack Meggs to join the Gaels coaching staff after serving as the hitting coach at the University of Kansas during the 2021-22 school year.
Meggs will be in charge of working with Gael hitters and outfielders and will also be integral in coaching base running and in recruiting. Before becoming the full-time hitting coach at Kansas in August of 2021, he served as a graduate assistant with the Jayhawks while earning his master's degree in sports management.

"He's the rare combo of knowledge, work-ethic, and genuine care for players. He guides them to be their best. With Coach Meggs, Saint Mary's will continue to be one of the best places in the country to develop as a pro and as a person."
The Seattle, Wash. native was a communications major at the University of Washington where he was a major part of the Husky lineup for four years. As a Husky, Meggs helped lead the team to regionals at both Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. He finished his career at Washington ranked fourth all time in both games started and games played.
In 2016, Meggs was an All-Pac 12 First Team selection as a center fielder and was also named to the All-Pac 12 Defensive Team. A two-year captain for the Huskies, Meggs was selected All-Pac 12 again in 2017 on his way to being a 10th round pick (291st overall) by the Oakland A's.
Shortly after his arrival, Meggs was selected New York Penn League Player of the Week after homering twice and hitting over .500 during week one of the 2017 season where hit .290 in 20 games that year.
After two years in the A's organization Meggs went on to sign a free-agent deal with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2020, but ultimately landed at KU following the cancellation of the 2020 Minor League Baseball season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I want to congratulate Coach Moore on hiring Jack Meggs as an assistant coach at Saint Mary's," said the recently-retired former Kansas Head Coach Ritch Price. "Coach Meggs is a rising star in our game. He brings energy, enthusiasm and passion to the ballpark every day. I know he will be successful in helping Saint. Mary's achieve their goals on the field, in the classroom, and in the community."
In his first year with the Jayhawk hitters he guided a potent offense that more than doubled home run output from the previous season, from 27 to 55. The team batting average jumped by six points, extra base hits by 30%, stolen bases by nearly 20%, and four hitters were named All Big 12.
"First off I'd like to thank Coach Price for the opportunity he gave me at the University of Kansas," Meggs said. "He is one of the great mentors in our game and a future Hall of Famer, I can't thank him enough. That being said I'm honored to have the chance to work with Coach Moore and his staff, and to join the SMC family. I've enjoyed getting to know the players and I can't wait until we're all on field together for day one. Go Gaels!"
Meggs was born in Chico, CA to Teresa and Lindsay Meggs. Lindsay was the Head Baseball Coach at the University of Washington from 2010-2022 and Teresa is a registered nurse in the Seattle area.
Meggs has an older brother, Joe, and older sister, Kelly. Joe served as an assistant coach at the University of Washington, where he played collegiately before spending time in the Los Angeles Dodgers farm system. Kelly played college basketball at UC Irvine and college softball at the University of Washington before becoming a physical therapist in the southern California area.

Working primarily with Charlotte's catchers, Simmons has helped produce one of the most prolific defensive catchers the team has ever had in Kaden Hopson. Hopson calls all the pitches during the game and helped CLT set program records in 2023 for the best fielding percentage (.979), most putouts (1,678), and fewest passed balls (2). Hopson recorded the most putouts any single player has had in one season with 592 in 2023 and posted a .9968 fielding percentage for the seventh-best individual FLD% in a single season in program history. Under Simmons' guidance in his two years at Charlotte, Hopson has the second-best career fielding percentage (.996) and has already worked his way into the team's top 10 lists for most career chances and putouts.
In 2020, Simmons assisted in bringing modern technology to the Niners with the additions of P3 out of St. Louis, Rapsodo and Blast Motion. Simmons was a featured speaker at the 2020 ABCA Convention demonstrating how the 49ers use Rapsodo and Blast Motion hitting in today's tech world. The 49ers used those new forms of technology, including the implementation of high speed cameras, to improve in all facets both on and off the field. Simmons also became Driveline Hitting Certified in 2020.
From 2017-2019, Simmons had served as the Volunteer Assistant and Catching Coordinator with the 49ers. In 2018, catcher Harris Yett was named a semifinalist for the prestigious Johnny Bench award for the nation's top catchers and again in 2019. Yett went on to be drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 32nd round of the 2019 MLB Draft. Along with Yett, Simmons has helped six Niners go onto to play at the next level.
Anderson will transition into the head coaching role following three seasons as an assistant coach at EIU.
Jason Anderson emerged as the top candidate we wanted to be the next leader of our baseball program here at Eastern Illinois, said Michael. Jason is a coach that brings with him a wealth of baseball knowledge having played the game at every level including three years in the Major Leagues. With the strong tradition of EIU baseball we had more than 100 applicants for the position. During the screening and interview process Jason was a candidate we felt was the right choice to lead the program with his understanding of the program and respect he has from baseball people at all levels of the game.
Anderson served three years as the Panthers top assistant coaching two pitchers that were selected in the Major League Baseball Draft with Joe Greenfield selected in 2013 by the Minnesota Twins and Matt Borens selected by the New York Yankees in 2014.
I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Eastern Illinois baseball program, said Anderson. This university has had a long history of great coaches that have produced tremendous players and winning teams. I will do my very best to continue to keep that tradition alive and get the program back to the prominence that it has experienced in the past. My family and I are also excited to continue our involvement in this community that we have been fortunate enough to call home for the past few years. The foundation that has been put in place with our current and incoming players is very strong. We will not only strive for excellence on the field but also in the classroom and in the community.
Originally from Danville, Ill., Anderson spent time in his professional career with the New York Mets, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, San Diego Padres and Philadelphia Phillies organizations from 2000-10. He played the 2011 season with the Somerset Patriots. He made his Major League debut in 2003 with the New York Yankees before playing with the Mets later that season. He saw action in the big leagues with Indians in 2004 and the Yankees in 2005.
Anderson played collegiately at Illinois from 1998-2000 where he was the Big Ten Pitcher of the Year in 2000 earning first team All-American honors. He was drafted by the Yankees in the 10th round of the 2000 MLB Draft. During his collegiate career he earned Academic All-American honors in 1999.
He began his collegiate coaching career in 2010 as an assistant coach at Danville Community College. He was an assistant coach at Illinois before joining the Panthers staff for the 2013 season. Anderson earned his degree from Illinois.
Anderson and his wife Brittany have two children, Aiden and Mason.

After Jason completed his professional baseball career, it was exciting when he showed interest in becoming a college coach. Being an EIU graduate and former baseball player myself, I was thrilled to recommend him as EIU's pitching coach in 2013. Jason's knowledge of baseball at the college and professional level will allow him to have tremendous success at Eastern Illinois as the head coach. He will recognize and recruit talented players throughout the state of Illinois and beyond. He will win games and graduate players. He will develop talent to play professionally.
I am extremely excited for Jason. He will provide great leadership for the baseball team at Eastern Illinois University. He is an important part of our history at the University of Illinois and an extremely knowledgeable baseball coach who will operate with high energy and the utmost integrity. EIU could not have found a better person to lead its program from this point forward.
I have been coaching at Wabash College for the past 3 years. I have worked primarily with the outfielders on the defensive side and was named the Hitting Coach for this past season. I also have experience as a Head Coach overseas in Germany in the 1. Bundesliga as well as playing experience at D1 IPFW (now Purdue Fort Wayne) and 8 overseas seasons in Germany and Australia where I was named Top 5 Overseas Hitter by BBJO in 5 of those seasons.

Rouse comes to Chicago after serving as head coach for four years at Salem University (W.Va.), where he led the Tigers to a program record in wins during the 2019 campaign. Five players under Rouse's guidance were named All-East Coast Athletic Conference selections, and the team earned the American Baseball Coaches Association's Team Academic Excellence Award in three of the past four seasons. In 2018, Rouse guided Salem to their best winning percentage since the program's move to NCAA Division II.

Prior to Salem, Rouse was head coach at Eastern Nazarene College (Mass.), where he led his players to multiple All-Commonwealth Coast Conference selections and the CCAC Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Rouse graduated from Brescia University (Ky.), where as a student-athlete he won a KIAC championship and had two appearances in the NAIA tournament as a KIAC All-Academic Team selection.
As part of our COVID-19 safety plan, the indoor sessions traditionally held on the first day of camp will be shared online.
Sessions will be accessible for the week prior to camp. They are available on-demand and can be completed at the athlete's
convenience.
