My name is Maddy Carpe and I am one of the assistant coaches at Harvard University. I work with both offense and defense, however, I do have a stronger role in defense.
Before coaching, I had a four-year career on the Boston College Softball team where I served as team captain my senior year. I earned the Eagle Award which is presented to those who embody the mission of Boston College: to learn, search for truth, and to live in service of others. I was also awarded the Welles Crowther Patch which recognizes a player from each team who represents the BC motto, "Men and Women for others."
As I enter my second year of coaching with the Crimson, I could not be more excited to continue sharing my love and knowledge of this sport. As just announced by Saint Mary's Head Softball Coach [Sonja Garnett](https://smcgaels.com/sports/softball/roster/coaches/sonja-garnett/2514), former standout Cal Poly outfielder Juju Sargent will join the Gaels coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach. Sargent will spearhead coaching of the team's outfielders. Sargent brings five years of division playing experience at the position, appearing in 181 total games in her time as a student-athlete at Cal Poly.
"We are looking forward to having Juju complete our staff." noted Coach Garnett, "She had an impressive playing career and will help elevate our outfield. She is the final piece of the puzzle, and we look forward to getting her on campus next month!"
Sargent is a Contra Costa County product, born and raised in Brentwood, California, less than 40 miles from Saint Mary's campus. After a storied career at Heritage High School in which she shined with both the bat and glove, Sargent committed to play collegiate softball at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. She spent her first two seasons as a middle infielder before being named the team's starting right fielder in her junior season of 2022. A breakout season for Juju, she batted 0.306 over 46 games, driving in a career best 21, while committing just one error on 66 fielding chances. Sargent continued her upward trajectory in her final two seasons with the Mustangs. In 2023, she earned second team All-Big West honors, batting 0.289, and logging career marks with 12 stolen bases (including a program record tying three in one game against Cal State Bakersfield) and four outfield assists. In her final season of collegiate play, Sargent hit a career best 0.333 with 49 hits, earning an All-Big West honorable mention nod. Over her final three seasons, Sargent made just three errors in the outfield.
Sargent graduated from Cal Poly in 2024 with a degree in sports management with a minor in exercise and sports science. She has picked up coaching experience throughout her career with East County Little League, the Cal Nuggets, and for the Nike and Mustang Softball Camps. Sargent will work with a strong group of returning Gael outfielders, headlined by first team All-WCC center fielder [Hannah Ferguson](https://smcgaels.com/sports/softball/roster/hannah-ferguson/5532).
Coach Latterell has been an NCAA Division III coach since 2007. Latterell began her coaching career at her Alma Mater University Wisconsin River Falls and joined the Macalester College team as an ad hoc coach in 2015. She became a full time assistant and recruiting coordinator in 2018. Latterell enjoys teaching the sport, developing athletes and finds gratification in seeing the success of her players. The sport of softball can teach us the power of teamwork, mental resilience and the joy of the journey.

Melissa Finley began as the head coach of Swarthmore College Softball prior to the 2017-18 school year. In six seasons with the Garnet, Finley has posted a record of 127-65 (.661 win percentage).
2023
Swarthmore posted 25-plus wins for the second consecutive season, finishing with a 26-18 mark, and made history with the first Centennial Conference Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. The Garnet made it to the final of the NCAA Ashland Regional before being saddled with a runner-up finish. Olivia McClammy received her second career All-Region selection.
2022
Returning from a one-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Garnet registered a program-record 29 victories and earned the top seed for the Centennial Conference Tournament for the first time in program history. Ultimately, Swarthmore came up short of a title but Gwen Glatz became the first Garnet softball player to earn All-America honors. Glatz was also named the Centennial Player of the Year while Meg Ozawa garnered Pitcher of the Year accolades and Alexandra Simon was chosen the conference's top rookie.
2020
Swarthmore was off to a remarkable 10-3 start (.769 win percentage) before the 2020 season was cut short. The team had been batting .315 with an OPS of .799 while holding opponents to a .259 average and a .689 OPS.
2019
Finley led the Garnet back to the postseason for the first time since 2010 with a 22-15 overall record and a 9-7 record in Centennial Conference action in 2019. The fourth-seeded Garnet lasted three games in the double elimination tournament, [winning the second game 6-5 over Ursinus College](https://swarthmoreathletics.com/news/2019/5/3/softball-swarthmore-advances-in-centennial-playoffs.aspx) in dramatic fashion. Two student-athletes earned all-conference honors, with Maddie Bowe being named to the All-CC Second Team and freshman Gwen Glatz making the All-CC First Team and being named the Rookie of the Year.
2018
In 2018, her first season as head coach of the Garnet, Finley led the Garnet to a 17-13 record, the program's first winning season since 2008. The Garnet just missed qualifying for the Centennial tournament, but had two named all-conference, Elizabeth Curcio and Kennedy Kings, the Defensive Player of the Year.
She worked as the head coach of NCAA Division I Colgate University for five seasons and advanced to the Patriot League Tournament in 2013 and 2015, and prior to that, she coached at the University of Pennsylvania for four seasons as an assistant coach.
Finley also coached in many capacities with Team Canada's Senior Women's Team, Team Canada's Junior Women's Team and Team Canada Women's Elite Team. Most notably she led the Junior Women's Team to a bronze medal at the Junior Pan American Championship in 2019 and was a staff member with the Senior Women's Team that won a bronze medal at the World Championships in Chiba, Japan in 2018. Finley was also a member of the national team for several years as an athlete, winning the silver medal at the 2003 Pan American Games.
Finley played at Princeton University and graduated as the school's all-time leader in home runs with 37 in her career. Her 14 home runs in 2003 led her to earning Ivy League Player of the Year honors. The collegiate power-hitter could also get the job done in the circle, winning 22 games as a pitcher.
Ferguson enters her 11th season as head softball coach for the Sagehens in 2017. Since her arrival at Pomona-Pitzer, Ferguson has successfully turned the program around, culminating in the winningest season in school history in 2012, when the Sagehens were 22-19 overall, 15-9 in the SCIAC and qualified for the conference tournament.
The 22 wins broke the previous high of 21, which was also set under Ferguson in 2008, when the Sagehens surpassed all expectations with a 21-19 record. The team went on to compete in the first ever post-season SCIAC tournament, where they upset top-seeded and nationally ranked University of Redlands in the first round 5-1. Ultimately, the squad finished third in the tournament.
The Sagehens have had five different players earn NFCA All-Region honors in the last six years under Ferguson's guidance, including Alexis Garcia, Alyssa Corley, Leah Bleichner, Ashley Morello, and Kelsey Buchanan.
During Fergusons reign at Pomona-Pitzer the team has posted a number of Academic All-Americans and has consistently ranked nationally in team GPA. In 2013, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association recognized the Sagehens with the second-highest team GPA in Division III, surpassing its previous high of fourth in 2011.
Prior to joining the Sagehens, Ferguson coached NCAA Division I at George Washington University for two years. In 2006, George Washington's fourth year of the program and Ferguson's second at the helm, she led the Colonials to a program-best record of 24-28 and a respectable win over in-town ACC rival University of Maryland.
Before her tenure at George Washington, Ferguson served as the head softball coach at Kenyon College, a Division III school in Gambier, Ohio, from 2000-04. During her tenure at Kenyon, the team posted a 17-15 mark in 2004, the squad's first winning season. For her efforts, Ferguson was named the 2004 North Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
A native of Clarksburg, MD, Ferguson began her coaching career as an assistant at the University of Virginia from 1997-2000, while earning her master's degree in sport psychology. During that time she helped lead the Cavaliers to appearances in three consecutive ACC championship games.
As a player, Ferguson was a switch-hitting catcher and first baseman for Shippensburg University from 1992-1996. The Raiders posted a combined record of 103-67-1 during her four years on the squad. Ferguson finished her career with a .275 batting average and was an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performer. She was also the team's captain during her senior campaign. Ferguson graduated from Shippensburg in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in coaching.
Sydney Lageyre is entering her 3rd year as assistant coach to Julie LeMaire following a long career as a student-athlete at NSU. Lageyre completed her eligibility playing under Coach LeMaire in the spring of 2022 where she was a part of the programs first ever Conference Championship title. In 2023, NSU softball won its first ever Regional Championship title with a trip to the World Series. As an assistant coach, Lageyre has been part of 2 regional tournament appearances, making that 4 straight Regional appearances for NSU Softball.
Lageyre is passionate about player development and helping her student athletes reach their full potential on and off the field.
Graduating from Stillwater High School in 2019, she was an outfielder, starting all four years and playing a key role in helping her team qualify for the state tournament twice. Her senior year performance was exceptional, boasting a .491 batting average and earning a prestigious array of accolades including All-District, All-Conference, All-Area, All-Region, and All-State honors.
Upon entering Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2019, Gracie Ore continued to excel both academically and athletically. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications followed by a master's degree in Sports Administration. During her five years at the university, Ore was a consistent presence in the lineup, contributing to her team's success culminating in a victory at the 2023 Great American Conference Tournament.
In her senior year at Southeastern Oklahoma State, Ore maintained a strong performance with a .355 batting average, securing a spot on the All GAC First Team. With her impressive track record of achievement and dedication, Gracie Ore serves as a role model for aspiring athletes and a valuable addition to any coaching team
Played middle infield for 4 years at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Now, I am the graduate assistant softball coach under head coach Kasey Cox.
Ive been coaching at Virginia Union University since June 2022, accepting the job right after finishing my senior year at VUU.
White served as a graduate assistant for CU in 2009. A native of Tekonsha, Mich., White played two years of baseball at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Mich., and one year at Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., before finishing his playing career at Campbellsville. He graduated from CU in 2008 with a degree in physical education with a minor in coaching. Year Campbellsville University ('08) Bryce White returns for his eighth season with the Campbellsville University softball program and sixth as the Lady Tigers' full-time assistant coach. White served as a graduate assistant for CU in 2009. Aaron Robinson was named the University of Maryland Eastern Shore head softball coach in October of 2023.
Robinson comes to UMES with coaching and player development experience on the college, high school and youth levels which includes stops at Notre Dame of Maryland University and Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.
Serving as the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at NDMU for two seasons, Robinson recruited the program's largest class ever, helped lead the Gators to its most wins in a single season, developed five All-CSAC Conference selections. Under his tutelage, the team's offense improved as batting average increased from .236 in 2020 to .306 in 2022 and .311 in 2023. The program's OPS improved each season as well going from .568 in 2020 to .722 2022 and .786 last season. NDMU also improved in the categories of runs, hits, homeruns, runs batted in, stolen bases and total bases each year.
Robinson's teams showed similar improved while he was head coaching at Bethesda-Chevy Chase. While coaching the high school for two seasons, the team had five All-Conference First Team selections, six All-Conference Second Team selections and three All-Conference Honorable Mentions. The team improved statistically in batting average going from .291 to .308. The other areas of improvement under Robinson included on base percentage, slugging percentage, hits, runs batted in, run, and stolen bases.
In addition to his college and high school coaching experience, Robinson has been the head coach the Virginia Glory which is an 18 and under fastpitch program. He also spent one season serving as the Athletic Director and head softball coach at Welborn Academy of Science & Technology. Robinson also directs the Greatness Leadership Hardwork LLC which is modeled to serve as a growth-centered skill and mental sports training organization, offering a wide range of training programs for individual athletes, small groups, and teams in the Baltimore area.
Attending Calvert Hall College High School in Towson, Maryland, Robinson went on to Frostburg State University where he was a member of the basketball program. He went on to attend Towson University and earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2010. In 2017, Robinson earned his master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore.
Robinson is certified as a C.U.D.I.T. Concentric Hitting Instructor and is a member of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
Shelby Petik arrived to Florida Atlantic in August of 2024 following three seasons at the helm of Eastern Florida State College, where she most recently led the Titans to their best season in program history with 40 wins.
In her first season with Florida Atlantic, Petik oversaw the Owls' defense that finished second nationally in fielding percentage (.984). FAU won 45 games, its most since 2016, and achieved the American Athletic Conference regular season title for the second consecutive season on the way to its second straight NCAA Regionals appearance.
For their efforts, Petik and her fellow Owl coaches were named AAC Staff of the Year.
Petik achieved 85 victories in three seasons as head coach of EFSC. In addition to their 40 wins in 2024, the Titans also made their first NJCAA Region 8 Championship appearance for the first time in program history and recorded their first nationwide ranking, coming in as high as No. 13.
Under Petiks watch at Eastern Florida State, her student-athletes were named All-Conference 20 times, 10 each on the first and second team. Two were named NFCA All-South Region honorees and one was a Gold Glove recipient at center field.
The Titans were number one in the nation in sacrifice hits and top 10 nationally in fielding percentage. The team ranked top five in Region-8 for 14 of 15 team offensive statistical categories.
During this time, Petik also served as head coach for Siesta Key Phinz of the Florida Gulf Coast League.
Previously, Petik was an assistant coach at Presbyterian College, her alma mater, from 2018 to 2021, during which she provided hitting and outfield instruction while also coordinating travel, scheduling, and social media. Petik also served as an assistant for Furman University in 2017.
Petik graduated from Presbyterian in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. During her time, as a student-athlete, broke the programs Division I era career records for doubles, home runs, RBIs, total bases, walks and games played. She received her Masters of Science in Collegiate Athletic Administration from Coker University in 2017.

Katlyn Duke enters her third season as the assistant coach for the South Carolina State University womens softball program.
Duke came to SC State from Neshoba Central High School where she was the assistant softball coach. While at Neshoba, Duke helped coach the team to a number one national ranking with an undefeated season and 8th consecutive state championship.
Prior to Neshoba, Duke was the assistant softball coach at Nanih Waiya Attendance Center, where she helped the program to a great start before COVID-19 ended the season.
Duke played softball at East Central Community College for two years where she was named to the All-State team. While at EC, Duke competed in a state, regional, and national championship. In 2015 she was awarded the Muracci Elite Hitter award at the national tournament which is awarded to the tournament's best offensive player.
After graduating from East Central, Duke attended Mississippi State University for one year before playing softball for Tatjana Matthews at Mississippi University for Women also known as The W in 2018. At The W Duke was named the universitys female athlete of the year and received All-American honors through the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). In 2019 Duke played womens basketball at The W. In the inaugural season, they won the USCAA national championship and Duke was awarded the coachs award. Duke graduated from The W with her Bachelor of Science in exercise science in 2019.

During Fergusons reign at Pomona-Pitzer the team has posted a number of Academic All-Americans and has consistently ranked nationally in team GPA. In 2013, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association recognized the Sagehens with the second-highest team GPA in Division III, surpassing its previous high of fourth in 2011.
Prior to joining the Sagehens, Ferguson coached NCAA Division I at George Washington University for two years. In 2006, George Washington's fourth year of the program and Ferguson's second at the helm, she led the Colonials to a program-best record of 24-28 and a respectable win over in-town ACC rival University of Maryland.
Before her tenure at George Washington, Ferguson served as the head softball coach at Kenyon College, a Division III school in Gambier, Ohio, from 2000-04. During her tenure at Kenyon, the team posted a 17-15 mark in 2004, the squad's first winning season. For her efforts, Ferguson was named the 2004 North Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
A native of Clarksburg, MD, Ferguson began her coaching career as an assistant at the University of Virginia from 1997-2000, while earning her master's degree in sport psychology. During that time she helped lead the Cavaliers to appearances in three consecutive ACC championship games.
As a player, Ferguson was a switch-hitting catcher and first baseman for Shippensburg University from 1992-1996. The Raiders posted a combined record of 103-67-1 during her four years on the squad. Ferguson finished her career with a .275 batting average and was an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) performer. She was also the team's captain during her senior campaign. Ferguson graduated from Shippensburg in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in coaching.
Sydney Lageyre is entering her 3rd year as assistant coach to Julie LeMaire following a long career as a student-athlete at NSU. Lageyre completed her eligibility playing under Coach LeMaire in the spring of 2022 where she was a part of the programs first ever Conference Championship title. In 2023, NSU softball won its first ever Regional Championship title with a trip to the World Series. As an assistant coach, Lageyre has been part of 2 regional tournament appearances, making that 4 straight Regional appearances for NSU Softball.
Lageyre is passionate about player development and helping her student athletes reach their full potential on and off the field.
Graduating from Stillwater High School in 2019, she was an outfielder, starting all four years and playing a key role in helping her team qualify for the state tournament twice. Her senior year performance was exceptional, boasting a .491 batting average and earning a prestigious array of accolades including All-District, All-Conference, All-Area, All-Region, and All-State honors.
Upon entering Southeastern Oklahoma State University in the fall of 2019, Gracie Ore continued to excel both academically and athletically. She earned her bachelor's degree in communications followed by a master's degree in Sports Administration. During her five years at the university, Ore was a consistent presence in the lineup, contributing to her team's success culminating in a victory at the 2023 Great American Conference Tournament.
In her senior year at Southeastern Oklahoma State, Ore maintained a strong performance with a .355 batting average, securing a spot on the All GAC First Team. With her impressive track record of achievement and dedication, Gracie Ore serves as a role model for aspiring athletes and a valuable addition to any coaching team

Nathan Ohta enters his first season as the head coach for the George Fox softball program.
Ohta comes to George Fox after serving as the head softball coach at Corban and Warner Pacific, and an assistant spot at Nevada. Ohta was named the head coach at Corban in the 2008 season after serving as an assistant in 2007. In his nine seasons at the helm, he finished with a 257-171 overall record.
Under his guidance, Corban improved from an eight-win team the year prior to his arrival in 2008 to a two-time NAIA National Tournament Qualifier ranked as high as #8 nationally. Ohta accumulated a 288-187 career record (nine seasons with the Warriors and two at Warner Pacific), and was named 2013 Cascade Conference Coach of the Year. During his tenure, the Warriors won two conference championships, made six CCC tournament appearances, while 13 players were named CCC Gold Glove winners, five were NAIA All-Americans, and 36 were CCC All-Conference award winners.
Following Corban, Ohta became an assistant at Fox under Jessica Hollen, helping lead the Bruins to an NCAA Regional in 2018 before becoming the head coach of the newly-formed Warner Pacific softball team in the fall of 2019. He led the Knights to the 2021 Cascade Conference Tournament in just their first full season (2020 canceled due to COVID-19) before joining the University of Nevada as an assistant coach for the past three seasons.
At Nevada, Ohta was responsible for the Wolf Packs prolific offense. During his three seasons with the Wolfpack, the program had an overall record of 88-74, finishing the 2023-24 season with a 40-17 mark, finishing 2nd in the Mountain West Conference and ranking in the top ten nationally among all Division I schools in several statistical categories including hits, avg, slg%, HR, stolen bases, doubles, rbi and runs per game.
She recently wrapped up her second season as head coach at Northeastern State University, where the program collected 25 wins in the two-year span. During her tenure, freshman Maddie Messenger earned All-MIAA honors, becoming the program's first true freshman to receive that recognition since 2021.
Prior to her time at NSU, Rhode was an assistant coach at Truman State and Bemidji State.
She began her coaching career as a graduate assistant at Union College (Tenn.), where she helped guide the Bulldogs to a 31-win season in 2019, just the fourth time in program history to eclipse the 30-win mark. The team also notched a top-four finish in strikeouts in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
As a student-athlete at Union, Rhode led the team on the mound with a 2.08 ERA and 143 strikeouts in 2017. She was named the 2017 AAC Pitcher of the Year after being selected to the All-AAC First Team.
A native of Stillwater, Minnesota, Rhode earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice with minors in sociology and psychology from Union College.

Former Gator Joplin Osgood '22 enters her third season as an assistant softball coach at Allegheny College. A two-time All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Honorable Mention and team captain, Osgood was a four-year member of the Allegheny softball program from 2019-22. As a middle infielder, she started 87 of the 89 games she played and posted an impressive .321 career batting average. Osgood's best season came as a senior in 2022, when Osgood hit .362 with 21 runs, 12 doubles, nine RBIs, and one home run - all career-highs.
She was tied for first on the team with 10 multi-hit games, led all Gators in batting average, on-base percentage (.408), and slugging percentage (.521), and was one of only three players to start all 32 games that spring. In addition to her second All-NCAC recognition, she was nominated for Allegheny's Female Senior Achievement Award. Osgood, who also spent one season with the Gator volleyball team, graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology.

Alexandra Preston has been elevated to an assistant coach with the Panther Family after serving as a graduate assistant for the past two seasons with the Panthers. Preston joined the the staff ahead of the 2024 season, and assisted in coaching catchers and hitters. In her two seasons as a graduate assistant, Preston coached and developed catchers contributing to conference rankings in caught stealing.
A native of Stockton, Calif., Preston comes to GSU after a standout playing career, including three seasons at Fresno State, followed by two years at Alabama State.
She started 102 of the 103 games played in her two-years at Alabama State, ending her career with a .467 slugging percentage. In 2022, Preston led the SWAC with 16 doubles, and then in 2023, she had another strong season with seven homers and 38 RBI, including a multi-homer game in a win over Bethune-Cookman.
Preston earned SWAC Hitter of the Week honors after hitting .308 with two homers and eight RBI in five games.
Prior to Alabama State, Preston played three seasons at Fresno State. During her career as a Bulldog, Preston saw action in 49 games with 30 starts at catcher. She drew 24 walks, recorded 83 putouts and a .989 fielding percentage. She was named Academic All-Mountain West in 2020 and a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete every season at Fresno State.
Preston graduated in December 2024 with her Master's in Political Science from Georgia State University. Prior to GSU, she graduated in May 2023 from Alabama State with a Bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in political science and a minor in psychology.
Dorsam '15 begins her second year as an assistant coach for the University of Southern Indiana softball team after a stellar career with the Screaming Eagles.

White served as a graduate assistant for CU in 2009. Year Campbellsville University ('08) Bryce White returns for his eighth season with the Campbellsville University softball program and sixth as the Lady Tigers' full-time assistant coach. White served as a graduate assistant for CU in 2009. David Middleton enters his ninth year as head coach of the Bethel softball program, after previously serving as an assistant under Stacy Middleton since 2011 when the program began. Coach David and Stacy Middleton started the softball program in 2011 and remain as Head and Associate Head coaches.
Coach Middleton is a graduate of Sterling College where he was a two-sport athlete playing baseball and football for the Warriors from 1989-1992. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Physical Education and Coaching.
Middleton started coaching at the club level and led his 2012 18U softball team to consecutive state championships and a seventh-place finish at Nationals. While coaching club ball, Middleton helped develop many players who have gone on to compete at the NAIA, NJCAA, and NCAA DI levels.
In the 2017-18 season, Middleton's first year as head coach at Bethel, he guided the Threshers to their first playoff berth in program history, as well as breaking the program's overall and conference wins records.
Coach Middleton has been a part of a program which in only nine years of existence has produced 24 All-KCAC selections, seven consecutive NAIA All-Scholar Teams, 27 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, 52 KCAC Scholar-Athletes, nine NAIA Champions of Character designees, and one CoSIDA Academic All-District player. The Threshers were also named the KCAC Team of Character in 2016, 2020 and 2021.
Coach Middleton has traveled across the Midwest and West Coast providing hitting and outfield instruction at clinics in the following states; Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, California, Washington State, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Missouri.
In 2019, Coach Middleton led the TMB Nationals All-Star team to a National Championship in Fort Worth, Texas.
Middleton is also the team's strength and conditioning coach and is certified through the National Exercise and Strength Trainers Association (NESTA).
As part of our COVID-19 safety plan, the indoor sessions traditionally held on the first day of camp will be shared online.
Sessions will be accessible for the week prior to camp. They are available on-demand and can be completed at the athlete's
convenience.
This approach allows us to continue offering these valuable sessions so athletes arrive to camp ready to maximize the experience,
while still maintaining a safe experience.
