Robbie Montanaro joined the Huskies coaching staff in August of 2024. 

Montanaro spent this past year as the first assistant at Adrian College. Montanaro was previously the head coach at Boston University Academy where he led the Terriers to an 11-1 record and a league title in 2023. 

Before his time at Boston University Academy, he was a private goalkeeper coach for high school, college, and professional goalkeepers around the country. 

Montanaro graduated from Bates College where he started 47 games in net and made over 200 saves for the Bobcats. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Sociology. Montanaro played abroad in Scotland, Puerto Rico, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. While playing pro, he got his masters degree from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Jacob Wilson

Jacob Wilson returned to his alma mater when he joined the Cal mens soccer coaching staff in 2016 as an assistant coach under former Cal head coach Kevin Grimes - who mentored Wilson when the latter was a Golden Bears player.

Jake has played in all levels of soccer (Recreational, competitive club, high school, Division 1 college--Cal, semi-pro--PDL and NPSL, and professionally) He has a great understanding of what it means.

He is passionate about raising the level of soccer in the bay area and around the US, and that starts with the youth and getting involved in the community. He is coaching a U11 boys team at Lamorinda Soccer Club as well as being the Head Assistant Coach at Cal.

Chris Gores

Washington (WA)

Division 1

Chris Gores is in his fifth year as an assistant at Washington on the staff of his former college teammate, Jamie Clark.

During the 2017 season, Gores helped the Huskies again reach the NCAA tournament as UW posted a 12-7-1 overall record. In addition to four victories over NCAA Top 25 teams, Gores helped coach yet another Pac-12 Freshman of the Year in Blake Bodily, who tallied three goals and eight assists. He joined Handwalla Bwana in receiving first-team All-Pac-12 honors with Kyle Coffee, Garrett Jackson, Quentin Pearson and Saif Kerawala earning second-team honors. In addition, Justin Fiddes was selected in the first round of the MLS Superdraft by the Vancouver Whitecaps while Handwalla Bwana signed as a Homegrown Selection with Sounders FC.

2016 saw Gores and the Huskies make it to the third round of the NCAA tournament for the third time in four years.  The Huskies went 14-7-0 that year, outscoring the opposition by 15 goals over the 21-game season.  Gores helped coach Handwalla Bwana to Pac-12 Freshman of the Year honors, as well as All-Pac-12 honors for Auden Schilder, Henry Wingo, and Justin Schmidt.

In 2015, Gores helped the Huskies to an 8-5-6 record.  The team allowed just 13 goals in 19 games.  Ryan Herman was named an All-American and First Team All-Pac-12 that year, while Gores helped five other Huskies make it to the All-Pac-12 team.

Gores helped the Huskies to another tremendous season in his first year at UW, finishing with a record of 12-5-3 and a trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament in 2014. The Dawgs started the year 9-1-0 and earned their first No. 1 national ranking since 1997, before eventually being named the No. 14 seed in the NSCAA Tournament. Gores coached several players who earned honors in 2014, including Cristian Roldan and Andy Thoma who were named Third Team All-American by the NSCAA. Roldan and Darwin Jones were also each named to the First Team All-Pac-12 Team.

Gores comes to Washington from Florida Gulf Coast where he spent one season. For the Eagles, Gores helped FGCU become the first program in Atlantic Sun Conference history to win four straight regular-season championships courtesy of a 6-1-1 league record. After starting the season 0-5-1, including a loss to Washington, Eagles went 8-1-1 over their final 10 regular-season games. During that span FGCU out-scored its opponents 14-6, including 12-4 in A-Sun action.

Before joining the Eagles, Gores spent three seasons as an assistant coach for the Harvard mens soccer team, where he focused heavily on recruiting, and helped coach the team to numerous upsets against nationally ranked opponents.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Gores spent eight years playing professionally for five different teams in the United Soccer League. Additionally, Gores served as captain of the Puerto Rico Mens National Team, competing in both the 2010 World Cup qualifiers and the 2005 Digicel Cup.

Gores played collegiately at Stanford alongside Clark, where they led the nation in scoring defense and helped the Cardinal finish second in the NCAA Tournament during the 1998 season. He graduated in 2000 with a degree in international relations.

In 2011 Gores received the FIFA recognized United States Soccer Federation National A License.

Brian Lanoye

Pacific (CA)

Division 1

Brian Lanoye joined the Pacific men's soccer coaching staff as an assistant and goalkeeper coach in the summer of 2019.

In his first season with the Tigers, he helped lead Pacific to its first win in program history at San Francisco while developing four All-WCC honorees and three All-Academic honorees. Lanoye worked with Pacific goalkeeper Ethan Bandre throughout the season, helping him maintain a sub-two goals against average. 

Prior to joining Pacific, Lanoye served as an assistant and goalkeeper coach at UC Irvine for two years. In his time with the Anteaters, Lanoye helped lead UCI to a 11-6-4 record in 2018 en route to a Big West Conference regular season title and NCAA Tournament birth.

Lanoye reunited with Coach Reeves in Stockton after spending two successful campaigns as an assistant coach under him at Cal Poly Pomona. The Broncos reached back-to-back NCAA Division II Tournament, advancing to the West Regional Finals in 2016 and finishing as the National Runner-up in 2015. In the two seasons, the program produced five All-Americans set a school record in 2016 with 11 shutouts.

Prior to his time at CPP, Lanoye spent eight seasons coaching at his alma mater, Cal State Fullerton. Lanoye began as an undergraduate assistant for the Titans in 2006 was promoted to graduate assistant and goalkeeper coach in 2010. The Titans earned a Big West Tournament title in 2014 and tied the school record that year with nine shutouts.

Lanoye earned a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2010 before returning to earn his Master's in Kinesiology and Sport Psychology in 2013.

Mike Enghofer

Assistant coach Mike Enghofer comes to Valpo in his first year on staff with the Men Soccer team

Before joining Valparaiso University, Enghofer spent the spring of 2019 serving as the top assistant at Indiana University Northwest where he helped train and recruit for the program as it set to compete in its inaugural season in the NAIA powerhouse Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Prior to that, Enghofer served as the head coach at Wheeler High School from 2017 - 2018

He received his degree in Mathematics Teaching in 2015 from Purdue Fort Wayne where he enjoyed a decorated playing career for the Mastodons.

During his time in Fort Wayne playing for PFW, Enghofer was a regular first team choice and helped lead the Mastodons to three summit league tournament appearances.

Enghofer currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana.

Christopher Martinez

Christopher Martinez enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's soccer program in 2023. 

Martinez joins CMS after earning substantial coaching experience in Texas over the last four years at both the high school and club level, since graduating from Texas A&M in 2022.

For the past year, Martinez has served as the director of the premier program at Urban Champions Academy in San Antonio for the past year, while simultaneously serving as an assistant coach at Central Catholic High School. At the Urban Champions Academy, he was the head coach of the '05 boys team, where he organized and ran training sessions, and prepared for weekly matches. In his role at Central Catholic, he was responsible for scouting opponents and preparing scouting reports, while assisting on tactical preparations. He also assisted in organizing and running training sessions, pregame warm-ups, and organizing set piece personnel.

Before moving to San Antonio, Martinez served three years as a head coach of the '05 Boys and '09 Boys teams at the Calvary Youth Soccer Club in College Station, where he developed, organized and ran training sessions and prepared game plan strategies against opponents. 

He also had a stint in College Station as an assistant coach with the Texas A&M Mens Club Soccer team and volunteered as an assistant coach in the summer of 2021 with Corpus Christi FC, where he aided in the selection of the team roster through tryouts.

Martinez graduated from Texas A&M in 2022 with a degree in political science. He holds US Soccer Federation National C and D licenses, and Grassroot licenses for 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11. He is currently enrolled in both the Coaching Credential degree program under United Soccer Coaches, and his US Soccer Federation B license. Locally, he is involved as a club coach at Legends FC.

Chris Koch

Christopher Koch joined the men's soccer staff in March 2019 after a three-year stint on the sidelines for his alma mater, Washington (Md.) College, after the completion of his career on the pitch for the Shoremen. In Koch's time with the school, WC totaled 22 victories, including 10 victories in the 2016 season when the Shoremen advanced to the Centennial Conference semifinals. During Koch's time on the sidelines, seven players were named All-Centennial Conference.

As a player, Koch was a four-year defenseman for head coach Roy Dunshee, serving as captain in his senior season. During his senior campaign in 2015, Washington College posted its best record since 2003, while holding opponents to 1.24 goals per match. 

The Hadley, Massachusetts native graduated from Washington College in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

Begins his 12th season as the Little Giants' head coach in 2023

Three-time North Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year (2014, 2017, 2019)

Named Regional Coach of the Year in 2014

 Wabash team earned a sixth consecutive berth to the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament and seventh in ten years under Keller.

Cristian Aleman was named to the 2021 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III All-America Third Team, becoming the first Wabash player to earn All-America honors since 1998. Forty players have earned All-NCAC honors under Keller, with 11 earning all-district or all-region honors.

Michael Tanchevski was named the 2019 NCAC Defensive Player of the Year, earned All-Region and Scholar All-Region honors, and capped his career by earning an NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship.

Came to Wabash from Allegheny College where he served as an assistant coach.

Graduated from the University of the Southwest where he earned a bachelor's of science degree in psychology in 2005. He also earned a master's of science in curriculum and instruction from Southwest in 2009. Keller and his wife, Kate, live in Crawfordsville with their two children.

Rob Brandell

Hobart College

Division 3

Brandell joined the Hobart soccer staff in February of 2022. 

In his first season on the sidelines for the Statesmen, Brandell guided the team to an 8-5-5 overall record.Hobart earned the six seed in the Liberty League tournament. The eight wins were highlighted by victories over seventh-ranked Rochester and 20th-ranked Clarkson.

Brandell came to Hobart after spending two years at Gettysburg College as an assistant coach on the soccer and tennis teams. In one season with the Bullets, he helped them to a 13-6-2 overall record. Gettysburg finished runner-up in the Centennial Conference tournament and earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament. He mentored six All-Centennial Conference selections and had nine players named to the Centennial Conferences Academic Honor Roll.
 
Brandell also spent two years as a graduate assistant at Misericordia. He was involved in all aspects of the mens soccer program, including recruitment, player development, game day management, scouting, film breakdown and alumni engagement. The Cougars were 4-3-0 in MAC Freedom play during the 2019 season. Brandell completed his masters degree in organizational management in 2020.
 
A 2017 graduate of St. Lawrence, Brandell was a three-time All-Liberty League selection, earning first team honors in 2014, second team honors in 2016 and honorable mention praise in 2017. As a sophomore, he racked up 20 points on eight goals and four assists, guiding the Saints to a 17-2-2 overall record and a Liberty League regular season and tournament title. Brandell helped the Saints to four NCAA tournament appearances highlighted by a run to the quarterfinals in 2013. Brandell also earned NSCAA All-East Region first team honors and All-ECAC praise in 2014.
 
Brandells coaching education includes a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper 1 Diploma, United Soccer Coaches Grassroots Coaching Introduction and United Soccer Coaches Special Topics Diploma.

Tyler Smith

North Central (IL)

Division 1

Tyler Smith begins his first year as an Assistant Coach for the Wisconsin men's soccer team.

He arrived in Madison after spending a season with North Central College as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach. He helped coach North Central College to a CCIW championship title and a NCAA DIII tournament appearance in 2024. Smith orchestrated a defense that posted a 0.79 goals against average (GAA) in over 20 matches and contributed to three first-time all-region selections, including an all-region freshman goalkeeper. He also head-coached the Reserves to an undefeated season (7-0-1) against CCIW, NAIA, and JUCO competition.

Prior to his time with North Central College, Smith served as an Illinois ODP goalkeeper coach. In this role he coached a group of elite 14-18 year-old goalkeepers, four US ODP National players, and numerous all-region selections.

Smith has four years of collegiate experience under his belt, playing for Earlham College from 2020-2023. During this time he set single-season and all-time records for games played, starts, minutes, saves, and save percentage. Smith also represented Earlham College and Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) as an NCAA DIII SAAC Representative, serving three terms as SAAC President. 

While playing at Earlham, Smith earned a Bachelors Degree in English and Media & Communications with a Minor in Sports Management. Smith has also completed his USSF D coaching license and has earned United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Coaching Diplomas.

Zack MacDougall

Zack MacDougall enters his first season with the Eagles as an assistant coach under head coach Jason Kilby. Prior to coming to UMW, he was an assistant coach at North Carolina Wesleyan College for a season.

In MacDougall's lone season with the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan, he helped guide them to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2008. The Bishops finished with an overall record of 15-6, including a regular season and tournament championship. During his time in North Carolina, he helped coach the North Carolina Olympic Development Program.

From 2012-2017, MacDougall earned his first assistant coaching gig with the men's soccer team at Randolph College. In his first season there, he helped the Wildcats reach a national ranking of #18. In 2013, Randolph finished with a 17-2-1 record which was good for a regular season championship as well as ranked #15 nationally. He secured two ODAC tournament finals appearances. MacDougall was a key part in recruiting while at Randolph as he brought in players that earned the accolades of All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American.

While coaching at Randolph, he also coached the Rustburg High School girls soccer team from 2015-2017. MacDougall was named head coach of the year in the conference twicer after leading the school to its first winning season and set the program record for wins in a season.

Zack was a four-year letterman at Randolph College where he was a member of the inaugural men's soccer program in 2007. He made a big impact for the Wildcats as he was a captain for two years, won the coach's award, and was named to numerous All-Tournament teams. MacDougall gained second team All-ODAC and Academic All-Conference honors in 2010 which was the year in which they gained their first ODAC tournament victory. MacDougall holds a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, both obtained at Randolph College.

McClintock joined head coach Lenny Armuth's coaching staff as a in 2015. 
In 2017, he helped guide the Rangers to the Landmark Conference title as well as a berth in the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Division III tournament.
Coach McClintock is Sporting Director of FC Motown a local NJ Natioanl powerhouse semi pro adult/college program in USL2, NPSL & US open Cup. 
Holds a full time role as the Director of Soccer & Education at USA Sport Group a youth sports provision organization. 


A Northern Ireland native, graduated from Liverpool John Moore's University in England.  He brings over 19 years of experience in coaching youth soccer both here in the United States and in the United Kingdom.
His soccer coaching licenses include USSF B, FA Level 1 & 2, USC Director of Coaching, National, Advanced & Premier Diplomas.

Graeme Jaap

After a stint as mens soccer assistant coach at Stetson University, Graeme Jaap takes over as the assistant coach at Cal State - Monterey Bay.
 
Jaap comes to Stetson after spending the 2016 season at Florida International, helping the Panthers reach the finals of the Conference USA Tournament. Prior to his time in Miami, Jaap spent five years on staff at Rollins College.
 
"I am thrilled to have Graeme as a part of the program here at Stetson," Stetson head coach Kyle Gookins said. "He has incredible college soccer experience and a vast recruiting network both domestically and internationally.  He is an extremely hardworking individual, and brings great energy to the locker room and training ground.  He fits right in with our values and will help drive the culture and the program forward." 

During his time at Rollins, Jaap helped lead the Tars to a 70-23-5 overall record, three Sunshine State Conference titles and four NCAA Tournament appearances.
 
"I couldn't be more excited to join the Stetson coaching staff," Jaap said. "The opportunity to work with Kyle was too good to pass up. Kyle has worked under some of the best coaches in the college game as an assistant, and has a wealth of soccer knowledge. I am really looking forward to working with him and continuing my development as a coach."
 
Prior to his arrival at Rollins, Jaap served as the head coach at Brescia University in Owensboro, Ky. In 2010 he led the Bearcats to the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship.
 
Jaap enjoyed a successful playing career with the Hamilton Accies. He started his playing days as a standout for the U-18 Scottish national team, earning two caps.

He began his collegiate career at the University Mary in Bismarck, N.D., before transferring to Brescia in 2003. He earned NAIA All-American honors in 2004 before battling injury the next two years.

Jaap graduated from Brescia in 2006 with a degree in Business, focusing on Human Resources. Prior to coming to Rollins, he developed talent in Kentucky, coaching club in Owensboro.

Thomas Chameraud

Division 2

Thomas Chameraud joined Embry-Riddle men's soccer as an assistant coach in January 2023. He brought nearly a decade of coaching experience to his new role with the Eagles.
 
Chameraud was the assistant head coach at Bethel University (Tenn.) the year prior, aiding the Wildcats to a 12-4-3 mark and an appearance in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship match.
 
He spent the previous 11 seasons involved with the men's soccer program at Montana State University Billings as both a student-athlete and coach. From 2020-22, he led the Yellowjackets as the program's head coach after serving in an assistant role from 2013-19.
 
Before transitioning into a coaching position, Chameraud made an impact on the pitch for MSU Billings during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He was coached by Dan McNally, a former member of the Embry-Riddle men's soccer program from 1996-1999. During those two years, Chameraud accumulated 28 points with 18 assists over 36 matches as a midfielder and was a two-time All-Conference selection. He also received All-West Region honors.
 
Additionally, Chameraud has coached various youth and developmental programs including the Under-14 (2022) and Under-18 (2021) Billings Timbers United, Montana Olympic Development Program (2018-2022), Under-13 (2016) and Under-16 (2012) Magic City Impact Academy, and the Wyoming Olympic Development Program's winter training camp (2015).
 
Chameraud possesses four coaching licenses including a U.S. Soccer C-License, NSCAA Advanced Regional Level 5 and 6 licenses, and a Fédération Francaise de Football Initiateur license.
 
He earned his bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies at MSU Billings in 2013 followed by his master's degree in Public Relations in 2015 from the same institution. Chameraud was included on the dean's list on three occasions and received Academic All-Conference honors. He also possesses a bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing from the Business School of Chambéry in France.

Nick Robinson

Nick Robinson was named the head coach of the mens soccer program in May 2024.
 
Robinson played a vital role in the Panther's success after joining the staff as an assistant coach in 2021. He was promoted to Associate Head Coach in December of 2022.
 
In Robinson's time, the Panthers have accumulated a 28-12-13 record and saw much success in the postseason, including a 2023 Final Four run and Super Region II Championship, an undefeated regular season in 2022, the first Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship in program history, and a Sweet 16 appearance.
 
Most recently, in 2023, Robinson played a role in developing the programs first-ever National Player of the Year in junior defenseman Sjur Drechsler. Following the 2023 historic season, he saw three Panthers earn USC All-American honors, five USC and four D2CCA All-South Region selections, and six All-SSC honorees.
 
In his first two seasons, the Panthers earned five All-SSC selections, including Defensive Player of the Year in goalkeeper Luis Tovar Romero, Sr., five USC and seven D2CCA All-South Region selections, and two First Team All-Americans.
 
Academically, Robinson coached three academic All-Americans and seven academic all-district selections.
 
Robinson and the Florida Tech Men's Soccer Coaching Staff were named the USC Division II South Region Coaching Staff of the Year in 2022 and 2023, as well as the 2022 SSC Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
A former star for the Panther men's soccer team from 2009-2011 and graduate assistant coach from 2012-2014, Robinson returned to Florida Tech after spending four seasons as assistant coach of the Eastern Florida State College men's soccer team from 2016-2020.
 
Eastern Florida State experienced much success during Robinson's tenure as an assistant coach, as he helped guide the Titans men's soccer program to an overall record of 55-14-7. Robinson and Titans head coach Oliver Twelvetrees were named the United Soccer Coaches Association Junior College Division I South Region Staff of the Year in 2019 after leading the Titans to a program-record 16 victories during the 2019 season, including a trip to the 2019 NJCAA National Championship Game. EFSC also made an NJCAA Final Four appearance in 2018.
 
The Titans won three straight Region 8 (Florida) Championships, appeared in four straight District/Regional Final Championship games since the 2016 season, and finished in the top 10 in the end-of-season NJCAA national rankings in all four seasons. Additionally, EFSC had its first National Scholar-Athlete of the Year in the 2019 season to go along with four NJCAA All-Americans.
 
Robinson also serves as the head coach for the 6A Viera High School boys' varsity soccer team, where he has held the position since 2015 and accumulated an overall record of 142-26-12. Most recently, Viera captured the program's 4th successive regional championship in 2023-24 while making the state championship game for a 3rd straight season. The Viera Hawks are the only program in Brevard County history to capture four straight regional championships and 1 of only three programs in Brevard County to appear in 3 consecutive state championships. One of the other two coaches was the late Fidgi Haig at Satellite High School between 2001-2003. Robinson led the Viera Hawks to their first state championship in 2022-23 for a banner season. The Hawks finished the season as the only undefeated team left in the state, compiling a 21-0-1 record. Robinson was awarded the prestigious Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year, USC State Coach of the Year, USC Regional Coach of the Year & Florida Coaches Coalition Coach of the Year. The program was also awarded Gatorade Player of the Year & Dairy Farmers Player of the Year honors. Over the last four seasons, the Hawks have won 4 Regional Championships, 3 District Championships, 2 Cape Coast Conference Championships, 2 State Runner Ups, and 1 State Championship. Robinson was also named Bervard Sports Network coach of the year for three straight years between 2021-2023.
 
In 2019, Robinson also guided his U19 Space Coast United Soccer Club to a Florida Youth Soccer Association State Championship, finishing as the top-ranked team in the state. Robinson is one of only two coaches on the boys' side in Brevard County to win both a club and high school state championship.
 
Robinson, a native of Victoria, Australia, had a stellar career for Florida Tech during his three seasons on the roster. He was named to the NSCAA All-South Region team in his senior season in 2011 and garnered SSC All-Conference team honors for two of his three seasons as a Panther. He started 42 of 45 games during his Florida Tech career and finished with 14 goals, seven assists, and six game-winning goals. Robinson led the team with 12 points on five goals and two assists, including three game-winners during his senior season.
 
After graduating from undergrad, he became a graduate assistant coach for the Panthers from 2012-2014, working alongside Chan while completing his master's degree. Florida Tech posted a 15-14-4 record during his two seasons on the sidelines.
 
Before transferring to Florida Tech, Robinson played the 2008 season at Lees-McRae College and helped the Bobcats go undefeated in conference play throughout the season. Lees-McRae claimed both the Conference Carolinas regular season and tournament championship that season and went on to the NCAA Sweet 16. Robinson earned All-Conference Carolinas team honors in 2008, finishing with six goals and five assists during his freshman season.
 
Robinson earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration in 2012 from Florida Tech and his Master's Degree in Business Administration from Florida Tech in 2013. Robinson currently holds his NSCAA National Diploma, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, and USSF C License and is in the process of completing his USSF B License.
 
Robinson and his wife, Skylar, reside in Melbourne, Florida, with their three children, Mason, Harper-Jean & Tyson.

George Nazario

Nazario has compiled an overall record of 209-153-43. He captured his 200th career coaching win last fall with a 5-0 victory over York College (NY)/ Nazario has enjoyed consistent success, commandeering TCNJs soccer program to 13 winning seasons during his tenure. The Lions have tallied double-digit wins in nine of those years and won 17 games in back-to-back seasons in 1996 and 1997. In 2015, the Lions posted a 10-5-2 overall mark, defeating three teams ranked in the top 25. TCNJ has competed in four NCAA Division III Championship tournaments during Nazarios reign, including a national championship title in 1996. The Lions boast a record of 14-3 in the NCAA tournament during those four trips and were national runner-up in 1997. In 2010, TCNJ posted a record of 9-6-4 (7-1-1 NJAC) and finished first in the conference regular season standings. As a result, Nazario was named the 2010 NJAC Coach of the Year. The Lions advanced to the NJAC tournament championship game before falling to Kean University 1-0 in double overtime. Nazario has twice been named NCSCAA Metro Regional Coach of the Year, making him a candidate for the NSCAA National Division III Coach of the Year. The first was in 1996 when Nazario guided his troops to capturing the schools first-ever mens soccer NCAA national championship. He won the award a second time in 2005 when the Lions went 16-3 and advanced to the NCAA quarterfinal match. In October of 2011, the 1996 mens soccer team that captured the NCAA national championship title was inducted into TCNJ's Athletic Alumni Hall of Fame. Nazario had an exceptional playing career earning All-American honors at Union High School and winning a national championship with the Union Lancers Under-19 Team in 1987. In college, he led Seton Hall University to three Big East Conference championships and four NCAA Division I Championship tournament appearances in 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1990. He was twice named Big East Player of the Year in 1987 and 1990 and served as the Pirates team captain in 1990. Following his collegiate career, Nazario was a member of the Puerto Rican National Soccer Team from 1992 to 1998. Prior to taking over TCNJs mens soccer program, Nazario served as an assistant mens soccer coach for Seton Hall University for three seasons. He served as the athletic director of the Union Lancers Youth Club from 1995 until 1997 and also served as head coach of the Union Lancers Under-16 Youth Team. Nazario is currently head coach of the Under-18 PDA Larsson Team affiliated with the Players Development Academy (PDA). In January of 2007, Nazario was married to Carol Pierce. The couple resides in Hightstown, NJ.

Trey Gregory

Trey Gregory is entering his seventh season with the University of Montevallo men's soccer program and second as Associate Head Coach. 

Gregory joined the Falcons in 2016 as an assistant after spending one year as the assistant coach for the women's soccer program at Bethany College, a NAIA institution in Lindsborg, Kansas.

Gregory also served as a volunteer assistant coach for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) men's soccer team.

Gregory, who grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, played at Oak Mountain High school before playing collegiately at UAB.

Gregory currently holds a USSF National C license.

Cody Carlson stepped into the newly formed role of full-time Assistant Mens Soccer Coach under the direction of Head Coach Ralph Perez in July 2018. 

Most recently, Carlson served as the Director of Operations for Mens Soccer at the University of Portland.  He contributed to the Pilots tied-for-second-place showing in the West Coast Conference by assisting with equipment management, video analysis, camp development, team travel, among other things. He also coached the U-12 and U-15 boys age groups at FC Portland and won the 2018 Presidents Cup in Oregon with the U-15 team. 

A student of the game, he currently holds his United States Soccer Federation B Coaching License and was recently named the Head Coach for Redlands F.C., which competes in USL League 2.

Carlson originally worked with the Bulldogs from 2014 to 2017, both as a graduate assistant and then in a part-time role.  While at Redlands, he helped the squad gain its highest national ranking ever when it reached No. 7 upon conclusion of the 2016 campaign.  The Bulldogs captured the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) regular-season championship each of his three seasons while also securing the SCIAC Postseason Tournament title in 2015 and 2016.  The Maroon and Gray advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals in 2016 to better the squads second-round appearance from the previous year. Carlson was among the 2015 SCIAC Coaching Staff of the Year and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-West Region Staff of the Year in 2015 and 2016. 

Overall, Carlson assisted in the development and success of 12 All-SCIAC players, one SCIAC Athlete of the Year, and eight NSCAA All-West Region selections.  With academics as a priority, he also coached three NSCAA Scholar All-Americans and a pair of College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District honorees.

In addition to coaching, Carlson completed his Master of Arts in Management through the School of Business at the University of Redlands.

In 2016, Carlson also served as the Head Coach of the Redlands High School boys varsity team.  In that one year, he elevated the Terriers from eighth place in the Citrus Belt League to third place while also making the CIF playoffs.  Finally, he gained coaching experience by leading the IER Pateadores B2000s and Riverside Coras of the NPSL.

Carlson earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Redlands in 2012. As a four-year student-athlete, he competed for the Bulldog mens soccer program and earned significant awards along the way. His presence on the field was unmatched during the 2011 season, as the Bulldog forward earned the 2011 SCIAC Athlete of the Year award.   In addition, he was a three-time First-Team All-Conference selection and landed on the NSCAA All-West Region team on three occasions.  After the 2010 season, he became an NSCAA All-American.

During his tenure, the Bulldogs won the SCIAC Championship in three of his four seasons and twice advanced to the NCAA Championships.  As a senior, Carlson played an integral role in the teams 16-game win streak en route to an NCAA Sweet 16 run.

Furthermore, he shined in the classroom, earning 2011 CoSIDA Academic All-District honors and 2011 NSCAA Scholar All-America accolades.

He currently resides in Redlands.

Dejan Mladenovic enters his 15th season as a member of the John Carroll men's soccer coaching staff in the 2020-21 school year.  

He is currently the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator for the Blue Streaks as well as a visible member of the Sports Information Department.  

Mladenovic is also the director of the Summer and Winter JCU Men's Soccer ID Camps, Bernot Memorial Golf Outing and Cleveland Clinic Center for Autism clinics.

Ricardo Pinto

Pinto came to Northwestern in 2021 after serving as an assistant coach down Sheridan Road at Loyola University Chicago. He had been with the Ramblers since February of 2019 and helped the program to 18 wins in two seasons, including the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference title and an NCAA tournament appearance. 
 
Pinto joined Loyola after a one-year stint at University of North Carolina-Wilmington, where the team qualified for the 2018 NCAA tournament with a 12-5-3 record. Under his guidance, the Seahawks finished 18th nationally in goals-against-average and 19th nationally in team save percentage. Pinto also coached goalkeeper Ryan Cretens to a Second Team All-CAA honor.
 
A 2016 graduate of University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Pinto's first job out of college was spending the 2017 season at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He helped the Hatters post a 7-7-2 record and capture the Atlantic Sun Conference regular season championship. He coached the conference's Goalkeeper of the Year in Joseph Melong and ASUN Freshman of the Year Deniz Dogan as the Hatters finished conference play unbeaten at a 4-0-2 clip.
 
Pinto was also a member of the coaching staff at GPS Florida, serving as the Director of Goalkeeping while acting as the head coach for the U-12 GPS Florida Select I team.
 
Prior to his arrival at Stetson, Pinto served as an assistant coach at Iowa Lakes Community College. The program registered a 14-5-0 record and earned a No. 15 national ranking with him on staff.
 
A native of Beaverton, Oregon, Pinto earned his 'D' license from the United States Soccer Federation in December of 2017. That same year, he earned his masters degree from the University of South Dakota in Sport Management.

The Coventry, England, native is the third head coach in the program's history. He comes to Gardner-Webb after building UNC Greensboro into a top-5 national program as Associate Head Coach and lead recruiter.
 
"First, I would like to thank President Dr. Downs for the ultimate decision on allowing me to be part of Gardner Webb University," said Wells. "I want to say a very special thank you to Dr. Goodrich, who has been a major factor in my decision. He is a winner, and it was evident early in the process that he is willing to be in the trenches with me as we start the new era of Bulldog Soccer. I want to thank UNC Greensboro and the entire athletics department, specifically Head Coach Chris Rich for giving me the opportunity to help elevate the team in to a top-5 program. Lastly, but most importantly, I want to thank my Wife Carissa Wells. There is a huge difference between a wife and a coach's wife. Thank you for all the sacrifice you have given our family and the support to ultimately be in this position today."
 
Wells helped engineer a sensational 2022 season for the Spartans, which started with a 10-match unbeaten streak in August and September. UNCG finished the campaign with a 13-2-6 mark, won the Southern Conference regular season and conference titles and advanced all the way to the NCAA Elite Eight with tournament wins over Ohio State and Stanford. The Spartans finished the 2022 season ranked in the top-25 nationally in 12 different statistical categories. UNCG ranked ninth in total goals, 10th in shot accuracy, 12th in goal differential, 13th in total points and winning percentage, 16th in scoring offense, 18th in total assists, 19th in points per game, 20th in shots on goal, 22nd in goals against average and corner kicks per game and 25th in assists per game.
 
UNCG earned its highest ever ranking in the final national polls, coming in at No. 5 when the United Soccer Coaches poll was released in mid-December. The Spartans cracked the top-25 in early September and moved back into the polls for good on October 11.
 
Sophomore midfielder J.C. Ngando earned first-team United Soccer Coaches All-America honors after scoring 22 points and posting 14 assists which ranked second nationally by season's end. A dozen Spartans earned postseason accolades from the Southern Conference in November.
 
Wells was also part of UNCG's 2021 SoCon championship during the spring, which saw Theo Collomb earn SoCon Freshman of the Year honors. Collomb went on to earn second-team All-America honors the following fall and was selected by Vancouver Whitecaps FC in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft following his sophomore season.
 
Wells' first stint with the Spartans began in 2019 and success followed soon after. UNCG won six of its final seven regular season matches that season, won a conference regular season title and advanced all the way to the SoCon Tournament finals. 

Wells also spearheaded the recruitment of four top-25 recruiting classes for UNCG, providing the foundation for the program's recent success. The Spartans saw 23 student-athletes earn SoCon postseason honors during Wells' tenure.

Two of his recruits, Ngando and Joey Skinner, were selected in the first round of the 2023 MLS SuperDraft on December 21. Ngando was chosen No. 5 overall by Vancouver Whitecaps FC and Skinner was taken with the No. 11 overall pick by Nashville SC. Another, defender Ethan Conley, was drafted in the second round by New York Red Bulls.
 
"Our goal is to build a consistent soccer powerhouse at Gardner-Webb," underscored GWU President Dr. William Downs. "That means winning conference championships and making deep runs in the NCAA tournament...nothing less.  It takes energy, expertise, and a good measure of audacity to realize such a goal, and in Coach Scott Wells I believe we have found the right potent combination.  Scott knows he's got a turnaround project on his hands, and I'm confident he's up to the challenge."
 
Success has followed Wells at each of his career stops in the sport. He came to UNCG after a terrific two-year stint as the top assistant at the University of Charleston (WV). While there, he helped guide the team to a pair of NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances and the 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship. The Golden Eagles went 21-2-1 in 2017 and followed with an 18-1-2 mark and unbeaten regular season in 2018. Charleston outscored its opponents 54-3 during the 2018 campaign.
 
Wells' entrance into the college coaching ranks was sensational as well. He began as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Rio Grande (OH), helping the Red Storm to a 19-2-2 mark and a No. 1 national ranking during the 2014 regular season. The following season, as the program's top assistant, Wells saw Rio Grande win the 2015 NAIA National Championship and post a 25-2 record. The Red Storm finished the season riding a 13-match win streak.

Will Greer

Will Greer has been the head coach of the Lawrence University men's soccer team since 2016.

Greer brought a wealth of coaching experience at multiple levels and a diverse network of soccer connections. Greer was serving as the youth coaching director at Rush Wisconsin Soccer Club in Middleton, Wis., and as a head coach in the Olympic Development Program at the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association.

Greer was named interim head coach in September 2016 but was a familiar face within the program. Greer served as an assistant coach with the Vikings for six seasons from 2007-12. The Vikings made three Midwest Conference Tournament appearances during that stretch.

Greer, a 2003 Marian University graduate, led Lawrence to a 5-7-1 record in games he coached in 2016, and the Vikings finished with a 6-10-1 overall mark. He was then named the head coach in January 2017.

Greer and his wife, Jodi, live in Appleton and have three children.

Joey O'Keefe

Throughout O'Keefe's career as the Biola men's soccer head coach, he has instructed one United Soccer Coaches Association Scholar All-American, three United Soccer Coaches Association All-West Region players, three D2CCA All-West Region selections, one PacWest Defender of the Year, one PacWest Newcomer of the Year, one PacWest Freshman of the Year, eight All-PacWest selections, one PacWest Player of the Week, and 20 Academic All-PacWest players. 

2021 was a special year for O'Keefe and the Eagles as they paved the way for future soccer generations with a historic 2021 season. O'Keefe led the men's soccer team to their highest conference placement since 2015 (third place) and first ever NCAA West Regional where they played one match against Cal Poly Pomona.

O'Keefe's program was showered with well-deserved awards for an epic 2021 season. He received three of the PacWest's four major individual awards, including Defender of the Year (Izaac Zausch), Newcomer of the Year (Theo Le Calve), and Freshman of the Year (Adam Jones). He proceeded to bring in eight all-conference selections, three all-region picks, one First Team All-American, and 20 Academic All-PacWest players. 

Biola received All-Region nods from two publications and one All-American achievement under O'Keefe's lead in the 2021 campaign. The D2CCA and the United Soccer Coaches Association recognized Zausch as First Team All-Region. The United Soccer Coaches later named Zausch a Scholar All-American. Le Calv and Lawarence Kwazema were highlighted separately as Second Team All-Region picks from both associations.

Prior to returning to Biola, O'Keefe spent two seasons at Westcliff, helping the Warriors to a 19-6-4 combined overall record. O'Keefe was instrumental for the Warriors, coaching the inaugural men's and women's soccer teams in 2019. The pair of teams found immediate success with O'Keefe at the helm, holding a combined .863 winning percentage.

O'Keefe returns to the Eagles after playing four seasons for Biola during his collegiate career. O'Keefe earned three All-GSAC awards, a GSAC Player of the Year award, as well as a NAIA First Team All-American award as a student-athlete at Biola. 

In his playing career, O'Keefe played in the PDL for three seasons before signing a contract to play professionally in Salzburg, Austria. Since returning back to the States, O'Keefe has worked with the LA Galaxy traveling internationally to scout talent to bring back to the Galaxy 2 USL squad.

O'Keefe also made an impact for the soccer program at Pacifica Christian High School. As the team's head coach, O'Keefe earned a trio of coach of the year awards from 2017-2020.

He has this to say about rejoining Biola Athletics:
"I graciously accept the stewardship role that I have been given and I intend on developing generations of quality student-athletes that Biola can be proud of. The opportunity to pour back into the young men of this program is a dream come true for me. I am committed to the growth of these young men; spiritually, academically and athletically."

Kyle Clancy

Kyle Clancy joined the men's soccer staff in February of 2021. He comes to Knox after serving as a graduate assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater for the last two seasons.

Clancy, a two-year captain, competed for UW-Whitewater during the 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018 seasons, helping the team reach the NCAA Tournament as a starter in 2014 and 2015. He was named honorable mention All-Wisconsin State by the United Soccer Coaches in 2018 after posting 12 points on two goals and a team-high eight assists.
 
Clancy competed in 79 matches during his Warhawk career, including 63 as a starter, and totaled 19 points on three goals and 13 assists. He earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Scholastic Honor Roll accolades three times and was selected as a National Strength and Conditioning Association All-American in 2018-19 for his commitment to strength and conditioning coupled with his athletic accomplishments.

Clancy has earned three certifications from the United Soccer Coaches, including a Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma, a Futsal Level 1 Diploma and a Special Topics Diploma: Sports Psychology and Individual Mental Skills.
 
A native of Palatine, Ill., Clancy graduated with a bachelor's in physical education with an emphasis in health, human performance and recreation. He is pursuing a master's in education (professional studies) with an emphasis in higher education athletic administration.
