Jake Dowiak

Currently in his third season as an assistant coach with the Saint Joseph's women's soccer program is Jake Dowiak.

In his first year on Hawk Hill, Dowiak helped the Hawks to a seventh place finish in the Atlantic 10, and a run to the semifinals of the A-10 Championship. In 2023, St. Joe's excelled in conference play under Dowiak's guidance as the Hawks went 4-3-3 in conference play en route to the sixth seed for the A-10 Championship, while freshman Emily Hanrahan was named to the A-10 All-Rookie. Team.

Dowiak came to Saint Josephs after serving as an assistant coach with Rutgers-Camdens mens soccer team this past year. In his season with the Scarlet Raptors, Dowiak helped the program advance to the semifinals of the ECAC Championship, while four student-athletes garnered NJAC postseason honors.

Along with experience at the collegiate level, Dowiak has coached at the developmental level & USL 2 ranks, working as an assisant with the Ocean City Nor'easters First team and head coach of their U23 team. Presently, he serves as the head coach for the U19 FC Delco Girls ECNL team.

Coach Sean Palacios joined the Loyola University staff in January of 2025. Currently working in the recruitment of players and the team training environment.  Passionate about development and teaching players intensive and complex topics is what is the most enjoyable to coach on the field.

Josie Rix

Assistant coach Josie Rix, now an Assistant Coach at Samford University, has tons of experience in the soccer industry. She served a term as Assistant Coach with the Wofford womens soccer team after previously serving as a graduate assistant coach at Lee University in 2014.

In her only season with Lee, Rix helped the team to a 15-4-2 overall record (10-1-0 GSA conference record) and a victory in the 2014 NCCAA National Championship. As a graduate assistant, Rix was responsible for assisting with film breakdown and analysis as well as organizing the backline. She also played a vital role in game-day preparations and ensuring compliance as the team transitioned to NCAA Division II play.

Rix also has experience coaching club teams at the youth level. Rix served as an assistant to the Chattanooga Futbol Clubs Womens team in the summer of 2014. She continues to serve as an assistant coach for Carolina FC and for South Carolina ODP. 

She graduated in May 2013 from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. She was a four-year starter at midfield and defense for the Crimson Tide womens soccer team from 2009 to 2013. She helped the team earn an NCAA Tournament bid for the second time in program history in her sophomore season. She was named to the Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2011 and to the Southeastern Conference Community Service Team in 2012 for her efforts in helping Tuscaloosa recover from a series of damaging tornadoes. 

After college, Rix went on to play semi-professional soccer with the Knoxville Lady Force in the summer of 2013. 

Michael Skelton

Skelton comes to Catamount Country after a two-year stint at Niagara University in the same role. Skelton was involved in all aspects of the program at Niagara including individual player development, scouting reports, recruiting, video analysis and travel management. In his time with the Purple Eagles they were 11-11-2 and advanced to the MAAC Semifinals in 2019 and the MAAC Quarterfinals during the spring of 2021.
 
During his stint in Western New York Skelton was also the Head Coach of the 2009 and 2006 WNY Flash girls teams. Prior to Niagara, he served as an assistant coach at Colby College and UNC Asheville.
 
Skelton, a native of Conway, N.H., was an All-American soccer player at Lasell College in Newton, Mass. He served as team captain in three of his collegiate seasons and was named GNAC Player of the Year twice. He holds the Lasell College record for goals and points in a season and career goals and points. Following the completion of his collegiate career, Skelton spent time playing semi-professional soccer in England.

Kelly Madsen

HOUSTON Kelly Madsen has joined the Rice soccer staff as an assistant coach, Owl head coach Nicky Adams announced on Monday (February 5).

Madsen joins Rice from Stephen F. Austin University where she worked the last seven seasons. Off the field she organized the team travel and equipment, served as the programs academic coordinator and was the director of camp operations. Madsens work helped SFA retain its status as the top womens soccer program in the Southland Conference. In her seven years with the Ladyjacks the team won five regular season conference titles and played in the SLC Tournament Final a total of six times.

I am so excited to be adding Kelly Madsen to our staff, said coach Adams, the 2017 Conference USA Coach of the Year. Kelly has proven to be a successful coach at SFA and we are looking forward to have her and husband Patrick join our program. She is so passionate about positively affecting young women, and her competitiveness and love of the game is a perfect fit with the culture of our program.

In her seven seasons Madsen helped the Ladyjacks compile an eye-opening 99-34-7 record with a host of individual honors and statistical records for the student-athletes. She was part of the 2012 coaching staff that saw SFA play in the NCAA Tournament.

Madsen came to SFA after serving two years as an assistant coach at the University of Dubuque (Iowa). She helped lead the Spartans to their first-ever Iowa Conference Tournament title and first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2009. Madsen assisted in all areas of the program, specifically recruiting, scouting of opponents and daily training.

A native of Pensacola, Fla., Madsen starred as a midfielder for the University of South Alabama from 2004-2008. She was a First Team All-Sunbelt Conference honoree and selected to the Sunbelt Tournament Team. Madsen scored 22 goals and added 20 assists over her collegiate career. After graduation, she played professionally in England for Portsmouth Women's Football Club and in the W-League for the London Gryphons (London, Ontario).

Madsen currently holds her NSCAA National Diploma and NSCAA Level III GK Diploma. She obtained her bachelor's degree in communications in 2008 and her master's degree in communications in 2011.

The Rice soccer program hired Madsen after a sensational 2017 season where the Owls went 12-4-2 overall, won the C-USA regular season title and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Coach Adams recently completed her seventh full season at the helm of the Rice program and has been at the University since 2003.

Ben Tierney

Ben Tierney enters his first season as the assistant women's soccer coach at Denison University in 2020.

Tierney comes to Denison after two seasons as the assistant women's soccer coach at Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana. In his two seasons with the Panthers, Hanover posted a combined record of 28-8-2, including a 16-1-1 mark in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and back-to-back trips to the HCAC Tournament Championship match. The Panthers also captured the HCAC Regular Season Championship in 2018 after going 17-2 overall and 9-0 in conference play.

Tierney coached 19 all-conference selections at Hanover, including consecutive Freshman of the Year award winners in Amanda Carmosino (2018) and Josie Dattilo (2019). The Panthers also turned out six All-Great Lakes Region honorees in Carmosino (2018 1st team), Brandi Brock (2018 1st team), Cassidy Evanson (2018 2nd team), Shannon Hawkins (2018 2nd team), Kelsey Hughes (2018 2nd team), and Autumn Boothby (2019 3rd team).

Prior to his time at Hanover, Tierney was no stranger to the HCAC where he was a two-time all-conference defender with the Franklin College men's soccer team. Starting 58 of 63 matches on the Grizzly backline, Tierney helped Franklin reach the HCAC Tournament Semifinal in 2014 after posting a 5-2-2 record in conference play. A 2018 graduate of Franklin College with a bachelor's degree in sports management, Tierney also assisted with the girl's varsity soccer team at nearby Franklin Community High School.

At the club level, Tierney has spent the last six years as a senior team coordinator and coach with the Columbus Express Soccer Club in Columbus, Indiana. During that time, he has helped lead his teams to multiple state and tournament championships while also developing and implementing training sessions for all players to increase technical and tactical skills.

A native of Wilder, Kentucky, Tierney is currently pursuing masters degree in Athletic Coaching Education from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind.

Brienne Smith

Smith will enter her 11th season at the helm for the Cougars in the fall of 2025, leading the program turnaround since coming back to her alma mater in 2014.

After winning just 4 games in her first two seasons, the Cougars have averaged 9.66 wins per season, and qualified for the NEWMAC Tournament in 2017, 2021, and 2022. This past fall of 2022, the Cougars advanced to the NEWMAC Championship Game for the first time in program history. They finished in second place with a conference record of 6-2-2 and an overall record of 12-6-2, and ended the season ranked 4th in NCAA Region 2.  For the second straight season, the Cougars had 3 All-Conference players, including the NEWMAC Player of the Year, Jamie Joseph, and 2 United Soccer Coaches All-Region players in Joseph and Jayme Brown. Joseph also earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America team.

Prior to arriving at Clark, Smith spent four years as the head women's soccer coach at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. where she guided the Greyhounds to four straight Landmark Conference Tournament appearances, including a berth in the Landmark Championship Game in 2012. During that 2012 season, Smith was named Landmark Coach of the Year, while two of her student-athletes garnered the league's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards, respectively. Her program saw eight student-athletes earn a combined 13 All-Conference citations during her tenure, including six First-Team selections.

Prior to Moravian, Smith spent nine years as an assistant coach at Tufts University. During her time with the Jumbos, Smith helped lead them to three NCAA Tournament berths, including a trip to the Final Four in 2005 and more than 80 victories.

Smith was a four-year letter winner with the Cougars appearing in 68 of 76 games from 1997-00. She was part of the 1998 team that won a school-record 17 games and garnered the school's lone NCAA Tournament bid. A 2001 Clark University graduate with a degree in psychology and a minor in education, Smith also holds a master's degree in physical education from Bridgewater State and an Advanced National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches.

Shaun Soderling

Shaun Soderling is a soccer coach, educator, and leadership consultant with experience at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. He has been part of multiple program turnarounds, including helping elevate a collegiate program from one of the nations lowest-ranked teams to a Top 20 national ranking within a few seasons. Shaun has coached in competitive club and scholastic environments, with a focus on player development, culture building, and tactical clarity. He has coached at the University of Evansville, Alderson Broaddus University, Brescia University, University of Kansas, and DePauw University.



In addition to coaching, Shaun frequently works with coaches and educators on leadership, communication, and creating high-performing team cultures. His sessions blend practical soccer concepts with real-world strategies for building trust, accountability, and confidence in athletes. Shaun currently runs soccer camps and clinics and continues to coach while mentoring young coaches at various stages of their careers.

Kate Hofstede

Most recently, Hofstede has been coaching at the youth level, working with high school-aged players on college recruitment.  Currently, she works for Steel United and recently was named as a Head Coach for the 2008 Girls' National Program.  She has also served as a regional talent scout for the United States Women's Youth National Team.

As head coach at Marist, Hofstede led the team to the best season in the history of the program in 2011, when Marist went 13-6-2, won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. After the season, she was named the MAAC Coach of the Year.

The next year, the Red Foxes were co-regular season champions at 15-7 overall and 8-1 in MAAC play. The 15 wins was a new program record. In six seasons at Marist, she guided the program to five MAAC Championship Tournament appearances.

Prior to coaching at Marist, Hofstede was the top assistant coach and Director of Goalkeeping at her alma mater, Columbia University, from 2005-06, and 2007-11. Columbia went 36-21-12 during her time as a coach there. She played at Columbia, both as a goalkeeper and a field player, and obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Education (2005) and her Master's Degree in Physical Education (2011) there.

Robert Tomecek

Coach Rob will begin his third season as the assistant coach at Washington and Lee University in the Fall 2024 season.




In his 2 years as an assistant coach, he has helped guide W&L to a 27-6-9 record with back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament.



Coach Rob comes to W&L after serving for the past 2 years as the Womens Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In 2021, Carthage was 1 win away from making the CCIW Tournament.


Coach Rob came to Carthage from Wartburg College in Iowa where he served as the womens assistant coach for two seasons and as the mens assistant coach for one season. In his two seasons with the womens program, the Knights went 28-9-4 winning a conference championship, made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament, along with finishing Top 25 in the country in Division III in 2019. In his first season with the mens program, the Knights went 8-8-2 and made an appearance in their conference tournament. Tomecek assisted in all facets of the programs during his time at Wartburg.



Before Wartburg, Coach Rob was at Benet Academy in Lisle, Ill., where he was the assistant coach for the girl's varsity soccer team. In 2018, he helped guide the team to a 20-4-1 record and its first appearance in the IHSA Supersectionals since 2012. The 20 wins that season also set a program record. He was also named the East Suburban Catholic Conference Co-Assistant Coach of the Year. Tomecek worked primarily with the defenders, and also worked as a volunteer assistant coach for the girl's varsity team since 2012 before becoming a full-time assistant in 2018.



Tomecek was a four-year starter as a defender for Macalester College. In 2015, he helped the Scots win the MIAC regular-season championship, finish undefeated during the regular season including an appearance in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2010.



Tomecek graduated from Macalester in December of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics graduated with his Masters Degree in Education from Carthage in 2022.

Laszlo Van Straelen

Laszlo van Straelen joined the Women's Soccer coaching staff in February 2024. 

Prior to his arrival at Rollins, van Straelen served as the assistant coach for women's soccer at D-III Sewanee dueing the 2023 season. At Sewanee, van Straelen was the lead in practice planning, spearheaded player evaluation and recuriting, and was essential in operations management. 

The Tigers finished 14-2-4, winning the SAA regular season and tournament championships for the first time in school history. Sewanee played in the National Championship tournament for the first time, winning their opening round matchup with Hanover College, 2-0. Lazslo was part of a the SAA Coaching Staff of the Year alongside head coach Greg Cathell. The Tigers had ten players named All-SAA, four players named All-Region XI, and had the school's first All-American in over twenty years in Brianna Fee.

Prior to his time at Sewanee, Laszlo served as an assistant for the men's program at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. During his time, the Tigers were regionally ranked and received votes in the D-III Top 25. HSC had three all-conference players in 2022, and made the semi-finals of the ODAC Tournament. 

Aside from his work at the collegiate level, van Straelen also served a shead coach for FC Richmond U14 Magic Classic and DCXI Juniors. During Fall 2021, he also served as head coach for the Maret Middle School boys team. 

His playing days saw him compete collegiately at Guilford College where he was a four-year letterwinner as a midfielder and defender. During his time, the Quakers reached the ODAC conference championship game for the first time in school history. Laszlo represented men's soccer on the SAAC, was a member of the Equity in Athletics committee, and a two-time ODAC All-Academic selection.

In 2020, he played abroad for A.V.V. Zeeburgia 021 in the ONDER 21 COMPETITIE, a profesional U21 competition in the Netherlands.   

Originally from Takoma PArk, Maryland, van Straelen graduated from Guilford College in 2021 with a degree in sports management. He holds a C coaching license with the United States Soccer Federation, and speaks advanced Spanish and conversational Dutch.

Linda Hamilton

Entering her 11th season as head coach, Linda Hamilton has since continued to bring the Southwestern womens soccer team to new heights. Taking over the team to start the 2015 season, she transformed the program into a perennial contender with SCAC Championship appearances in multiple seasons, breaking through as conference champions in 2019 for the first time in program history after defeating Trinity in penalty kicks in the championship match at Southwestern University and making their first NCAA appearance. In a historic 2021 season, she helped lead the team to their first regional and national ranking in program history, first regular season championship, and acquired her 3rd SCAC Coach of the Year honor. 2022 marked a fifth straight winning season for Hamilton, while 2024 marked her seventh in ten seasons. 

Hamilton brings a wealth of experience to the program, both as a player and coach. She played collegiately at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina, earning All-America status and all-conference honors all four years. She was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1988. Hamilton was a member of the United States National Team, where she played in 82 international matches. She helped the team to a World Cup gold medal in 1991 and bronze in 1995. In May 2022, she would be recognized for her efforts through her induction to the National Soccer Hall of Fame, elected from the Veteran ballot.

Hamilton, who owns a United States Soccer Federation "A" coaching license, got her start in coaching at Old Dominion University as the team's head coach from 1993 to 1995. She later served as an assistant at Hofstra University (2006-2007) and most recently served as head coach at the University of North Florida (2007-2013). She has additionally worked with the Easter Seals and National Multiple Sclerosis Society (2002-2006), serving as director of development.

Katie Mitchell

Coach Mitchell joined the Bulldog staff in 2023 as an assistant and was announced as head coach in April 2024. In her first year as head coach, the Bulldogs went 12-4-3 on the season, recording their best Regular Season finish in program history coming in at #1 in the South Atlantic Conference. She currently holds her USC Premier Diploma and USSF B License. 

Prior to her stint as the head coach at Manchester University from 2021-2023, Mitchell was an assistant coach at the University of Indianapolis from July of 2019 through May of 2021. She helped guide UIndy to a sweet 16 appearance in the NCAA Tournament during her tenure.

I finished my first year as an assistant coach with Lewis University Womens Soccer team. I have a strong soccer background, specifically as a player. I competed competitively in club with Sockers FC, was a member of the ODP Region II team multiple years, and in and out of youth National Team camps. I played division I college soccer at the University of Kentucky and was a captain my junior and senior year. Also, I played a year of soccer professionally in the NWSL with the Chicago Red Stars.

Anna Hardin

Anna Hardin (pronounced AH nah) is entering her second season after being named the Union University women's soccer program assistant coach in June 2019. Hardin came to Union having served two seasons as the assistant women's soccer coach and three seasons as the assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Oxford College of Emory University. 

During her time at Oxford College of Emory University, the worked in many areas of coaching in both soccer and tennis. She planned and ran practices, helped develop skills of players, helped with game preparation, statistical analysis, recruiting, and team management. 

Hardin's career also includes being an instructor within the Center of Healthful Living at Oxford College of Emory University. She holds a goalkeeping diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association of America and is also certified in CPR and AED with the American Heart Association. 

As a tennis coach, Hardin coach the men's team to four consecutive national tournaments, while helping lead the women's team to three national tournaments. 

Hardin is a 2015 graduate of Valdosta State University where she earned a BFA degree in art education. She was a goalkeeper for the Blazers' inaugural season in 2011 and second season in 2012.

She is a 2011 graduate of South Forsyth High School. She started three years as varsity keeper, was named all-county twice, Best Defender twice, and earned the Iron Eagle Award. She led her team as captain to the quarterfinals of the state championships. 

She also played club soccer for AFC Lightning Elite 93 in Fayetteville, Ga. for three years. She led her team to multiple Atlanta Cup Championships, Nike Norcross Cup Championships, and a Georgia State Cup finalist. 

Hardin is from Alpharatta, Georgia.

Jennifer Wandt

The 2025 campaign will mark the first for Jennifer Wandt as an assistant coach with the Marquette University women's soccer program and she will also serve as the team's recruiting coordinator.

A former professional player and All-Big 12 goalkeeper at Baylor, Wandt will assist with the day-to-day operations of the program and direct the on-field mentoring of the Marquette netminders.
  
Wandt spent the 2024 campaign as an assistant at Indiana after working one season in 2023 at Illinois State.

Before beginning her coaching career, Wandt played two years at the professional level with the Trelleborgs FF Swedish football club and was a standout goalkeeper at Baylor University.

The Brookfield, Wisconsin native ended her career with the Bears as the all-time career and season record holder for shutouts and wins. She leads the program with goalkeeper minutes played in a season and holds impressive list of honors with an All-Big 12 Second Team selection as a senior in 2020. Wandt posted a .896 save percentage, six shutouts and a career best .506 goals against average.

She also earned All-Big 12 Freshman team honors in 2017 and an All-Big 12 Second Team selection in 2018 as she helped lead the Bears to an NCAA Regional Final appearances in both seasons. Wandt was a four-time Academic All-Big 12 selection, including a first team honor in 2020.

Wandt graduated in 2020 from Baylor with a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in sport management.

Katie Smith

Division 1

Xavier womens soccer head coach Dean Ward announced the addition of Katie Smith as an assistant coach in February 2025.

Smith came to Xavier from Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kansas, where she was a foundational piece to the creation of the womens soccer program. In the teams inaugural season, Smith helped lead the Gorillas to an overall record of 8-8-2. Smith has also served as head coach of the newly founded Marshall Islands Womens National Team since May 2024, with the team set to have its first fixture in 2025.

Smith joined Pittsburg State from Arkansas State, where was an assistant coach for the Red Wolves in 2023. Prior to her time at Arkansas State, Smith served as an assistant coach at Northwest Mississippi Community College during the 2022 season, helping lead the program to a final four appearance at the NJCAA national tournament.

In 2022, Smith also coached Collierville High School, with the team finishing the season ranked third in the state of Tennessee, and at the mens USL 2 level with Tri-Cities FC, helping lead the team to the most points in a single season in club history.

Smith began her coaching career leading both the boys and girls varsity soccer programs at Fayette Academy in Tennessee. During her time at Fayette Academy, she led the girls varsity team to one of the most successful seasons in the programs history. Smith also coached Collierville Middle School boys soccer, leading the Dragons to regional and sectional championships and finishing the season with the best record in TSMAA history.

During her coaching career, Smith has earned several awards, including back-to-back TSMAA Coach of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Youth Coach of Excellence Award, and was selected as a 2024-2025 United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 Class Member.

As a student-athlete, Smith served as the inaugural captain at Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she helped lead the program to a TCCAA Conference Championship in the second year of the programs existence. She went on to Louisiana State University at Shreveport, where she was a dual-sport athlete, playing soccer and tennis.

Smith earned a Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Freed-Hardeman University in May 2023 and graduated with a Masters Degree in Soccer Coaching Education from Ohio University in May 2024. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Global Sports Leadership from East Tennessee State University.

Smith holds her UEFA C License, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National License, and currently pursuing her USSF B License. She is an active member of the soccer community and has been featured in many podcasts and articles and has presented at various educational workshops.

Andrew Green enters his third season as an assistant coach for the VMI women's soccer program following his hire in August of 2021.
 
Green comes to the Institute by way of Albion College in Albion, Michigan, where he served as an assistant mens soccer coach and recruiting coordinator since January of 2020. Among many responsibilities, he assisted in all coaching phases of the program and devised, planned and led all training sessions including goalkeeper training.  He coordinated all travel including transportation, meals and lodging and helped manage the team operations budget.

During the 2021 season, he coached freshman Riley Flanagan to Southern Conference All-Freshman Team honors after she tallied eight goals, which tied for fourth most in the SoCon. She also logged five assists tied for fifth in the league for a total of 21 points, third most in the conference. Her 21 points on the year also rank fifth most for a single season in program history and her five assists are tied for third most in a single season. Her respective marks for points and goals also fall in the top 3 for freshman records at VMI.

Green also mentored goalkeeper Jillian Hall to a program-record 142 saves during the 2021 campaign. With one season still to play, Hall ranks fifth all-time in program history for saves with 252 for her career.
 
Since March of 2019, Green has served as the Director of Goalkeeping, the College Advancement Coordinator and Staff Coach for the Nationals Soccer Club Capital Area based in Lansing, Michigan.  He was responsible for designing a goalkeeper curriculum within the club and led all training sessions for goalies twice a week for ages U10-U19. Green coordinated all recruitment of high school age players in the club, setting them up with recruiting profiles, how to contact coaches and video analysis.
 
From 2018-2020, Green was an assistant mens soccer coach for his alma mater, Olivet College in Olivet, Michigan, where he held similar responsibilities to his role at Albion College assisting in all facets of the program.
 
Prior to returning to Olivet College, Green was an assistant womens soccer coach at Western Michigan University from July 2016-March 2017. He also has experience in the Southern Conference as he served as an assistant womens soccer coach at Western Carolina from January 2015 to June 2016.
 
While in college, he served as the head boys varsity soccer coach and assistant girls varsity soccer coach at Olivet High School (Olivet, Michigan) from 2013-2015.
 
Green played collegiately at Olivet College where he was a two-year letter winner as a center back and outside back. He helped the team to a 30-12-2 record over the two seasons and two consecutive MIAA Conference Championship appearances.
 
He is certified with an NSCAA advanced national diploma and earned the USSF D and E licenses. He is registered with an NSCAA GK Level 1 diploma and the NSCAA Foundations of Coaching diploma.
 
Green earned a bachelors degree in social science from Olivet College in May of 2014 and in the spring of 2021 achieved a masters degree in sport coaching and leadership from Michigan State University.

Veteran coach Sarah Raymond, an assistant at Williams the past four years, has been named Michelyne Pinard's successor as the head coach of the Williams College women's soccer program. The Ephs have won three of the last five Div. III national championships and made two Elite 8 appearances in the years they did not wear the crown. Raymond has 14 years of head coaching experience at the Div. III collegiate level. She spent six years as the head coach of Clarkson University prior to her arrival at Williams, and eight years before that as head coach of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Her career mark is 126-98-27. Raymond's appointment was announced by Williams' Director of Athletics Lisa Melendy, who said the search for Pinard's successor began in early November immediately after the conclusion of the soccer season and attracted 84 applicants from around the globe. "I am very excited to announce Sarah Raymond has accepted our offer to be the next Williams women's soccer coach," Melendy said "She distinguished herself among an extremely strong field of candidates. The committee was impressed with her deep knowledge of the game of soccer and her equally deep understanding of the role of athletics at a liberal arts college. She has a demonstrated history of putting students and relationship building at the center of her coaching. I could not be more pleased to have her step into this new role at Williams. I am confident the team is in good hands as it begins the next chapter of Williams women's soccer." Pinard announced in July of 2019 she would depart Williams after her 18th season. She will become the athletic director at The Thacher School, a private boarding school in Ojai, Calif. Over the last four years under Pinard and Raymond, the Ephs have gone 68-8-10, winning the national championship in 2017 and 2018. The Ephs also captured a NESCAC championship in 2017 and a Little 3 title in 2017. "I would like to thank Lisa Melendy and the search committee for this amazing opportunity to be the next leader of the Williams' Women's Soccer program," Raymond said. "Williams has been a standard bearer for excellence, competitive success and empowering young women. It has been a privilege to be part of this program over the past four years so I know first-hand what incredible women I have the honor of interacting with on a daily basis. I want to thank the players and outgoing head coach, Michelyne Pinard, for their belief and support throughout this process. I am so excited to continue the standard of excellence that Williams women's soccer is known for and through my passion for the game, inspire the next generation of Ephs. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by the coaches in the Williams athletic department; driven, competitive professionals who deeply care about their athletes and who I can learn from every day." At Clarkson, Raymond guided the Golden Knights to their first winning season since 1992 in her second year at the helm of the program; 2011. She was selected as the 2011 Liberty League Coach of the Year. Raymond repeated that feat in her final season, 2015, as Clarkson finished 8-7-2.

Jared Rose

Jared Rose was named the head coach of the Agnes Scott College soccer program on August 15, 2023. 

Prior to joining Agnes Scott, Rose was coaching in Ohio for the last 11 years. Collegiately, he coached at Walsh University as the  Assistant Coach of the mens soccer team, as well as directing area at one of the top ECNL clubs in the country, Internationals SC.

In College: Over the past 4 years Rose has spent coaching at the Division 2 collegiate level at Walsh University. Starting as a volunteer in 2019, he had an immediate impact helping the team to their first winning season since 2011.  For the Fall 2021 season, Rose was appointed to the full time assistant role where he picked up where he left off.  He was given a lead role, and even more involved with player development, design & implementation of  training sessions, in charge of video analysis, & relied on for game tactics and management which helped the Cavaliers to new heights. The team had the best start in program history (7-0-2), as well as the best finish since joining the GMAC conference at 4th, hosting their first ever GMAC quarter final. The team made the semi-finals for the first time & over the course of the season were ranked as high as #22 in the Nation.  In the 2022 season, Walsh again tied the best start in program history (7-0-2) & reached a ranking of #11 in the country, breaking the top 20 for the first time in program history. 

In Club: Rose joined  the Internationals Soccer club starting back in 2012. While at Internationals SC, Rose coached some of the best young players in Ohio. He then moved into a Director role very quickly and began to have a larger impact within the club.  He helped the club develop & organize its training curriculum for the U13-U19 aged players with season plans, individual development plans, & GAP (Guided Activity Plans) that would allow the players to stay focused on their individual goals, team goals, and training plan on their own.  He was in charge of the video platform & analysis that would allow athletes to have video of games & highlights as well as giving data on each game & player.  He was in charge of bringing on a recruitment platform for the club to better track & help athletes to move on to the collegiate level.  He was an integral part of the clubs success over the last 11 years, not only  growing the club in numbers, retaining top level players, teaching life lessons through hard work and discipline in sport, and developing players mentally & athletically to compete at the next level (College & Professional).  But also success on the field, helping them to win at almost every age group U13-U19 in the ECNL conference & having the best percentage of success between the 2 divisions within the Ohio Valley Conference in the ECNL.  He has won 3 National Championships over his time at the club & helped countless players obtain collegiate scholarships across the NCAA D1-D3 levels as well as NAIA. Rose holds a USSF National "B" license as well as a Masters in Sports Science - Coaching.

Rose has experience coaching at every level & in many parts of the country. Other coaching roles in Ohio include time with University of Akron - Women's Soccer (3 years) & Hathaway Brown HS (2 years). Before Ohio, when coaching in FL, he worked with Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club (4 years) & Carrollton HS (2 years). Rose started his coaching career in 2006 as a student coach at Michigan State University.

Rose had an outstanding college soccer career at NCAA Division I Florida International University from 2002-2005.  While in college, FIU was consistently ranked in the top 25 in the country & competed in the NCAA Championships every year, making the sweet 16 in 2003.  He was a two-time all-conference player & became team Captain during his senior season. 

Rose lives in Georgia with his wife, Christine, and his 2 Daughters, Katarina & Daniella.

Coach Rose: I am so excited to be joining such a prestigious school like Agnes Scott.  I cant thank Dr. Richardson & Dean Martin for their trust in me to lead the soccer program to new heights and bringing me in to  join the Scotties family.  The whole athletic department as well as leaders of the college have been so welcoming, together, to make it an unbelievable place to be.  My focus will be helping young women to be the best versions of themselves through athletics.  Through soccer/sport, you can develop positive habits & friendships/relationships that will help you in your overall life outside of sport.  To show dedication, responsibility, & commitment to yourself & to other like-minded individuals, really helps you develop into an amazing person with a positive character.

Brooke Lincoln

The 2025 season marks Brooke Lincoln's seventh at Azusa Pacific. She was named the fifth head coach in Azusa Pacific women's soccer program history in January of 2018.

Since Lincoln's arrival, the program has posted a 55-33-16 record, 12 of those wins were contributed from the 2024 campaign where the Cougars broke onto the national stage with a NCAA West Regional appearance after finishing 4th in the PacWest standings in the 2023, 2022 and 2021 season seasons.

In 2022, the Cougars went 9-4-4, posting a 6-2-2 conference record, and was receiving votes for the Top-25 National poll for the second consecutive year.



In 2021, Lincoln led the Cougars to an 11-5-1 record, including a 6-3-1 conference mark. At the conclusion of the season, the Cougars ranked eighth in the regional rankings and also received votes for the Top-25 National poll for their efforts throughout the season. 



In 2019, the Cougars finished 9-7-2 overall, with a 5-5-1 record in PacWest play that placed them sixth in the final conference standings. On Nov. 5, Lincoln and her team upset rival Biola by a 2-1 score. Biola had entered the match as the first place team in the conference with an 11-game unbeaten streak, but a tough and gritty performance lifted the Cougars to the big win in front of their home fans.

In 2018, which was Lincolns first season at the helm of the program, Azusa Pacific went 6-9-2 overall. While the Cougars struggled to find their rhythm at the beginning of the season, Lincolns system began to blossom and come to fruition in conference play, as the squad went 6-3-2 against PacWest competition to close the season out.

Through seven seasons at the helm, Lincoln has coached four All-Region and 27 All-PacWest performers. Off the pitch, her teams have also excelled in the classroom, as she has had 82 Academic All-PacWest honorees from 2018-22. For the 2019-20 school year, the Cougars posted a team GPA of 3.61.

Lincoln has served as the head coach at Asbury University (Ky.) for the past five seasons. During her tenure with the Eagles she has tallied a 51-32-15 overall record. She had a decorated tenure at the NAIA school. She won three regular season River State Conference titles (formerly the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), two league tournament titles which earned two berths into the national tournament. Lincoln was named the conference Coach of the Year on two occasions. In addition, she coached three Conference Players of the Year and 17 all-conference players.

Lincoln went to Asbury after serving as a graduate assistant at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss. During the 2012 season Lincoln helped Belhaven reach the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in its third season in the league. The Blazers finished eighth in the  conference that had the top seed in the NAIA National Tournament. During Lincoln's two years with the Blazers, she handled recruiting in the south region as well as in the state of Mississippi. Although a graduate assistant, Lincoln was the only assistant coach on staff and often ran training sessions. She was also charged with coordinating summer camps, bringing in more than 400 campers during the course of the summer as well as 10 teams.

Prior to joining the staff at Belhaven, Lincoln was the head girls' soccer coach at Terry High School in Terry, Miss., for two years. At Terry, Lincoln guided the squad to the state Final Four for the first time in school history and garnered a ranking as high as No. 6, finishing the year at No. 12.

She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College. Lincoln has a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven University.

Joined the St. Mary's College women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2018 season.

The Arlington, Va., native brings over 20 years of coaching experience with St. Mary's Youth Soccer, including coaching both male and female youth soccer teams as well as organizing and planning practices and game strategies.

He holds a USSF "D" license.

Donis is a retired Air National Guardsman with eight years of active duty experience in the Marine Corps.
