Jami Kranich

Jami Kranich was added to the Princeton women's soccer coaching staff as an assistant coach in March 2017.

In Kranich's first year on staff in 2017, Princeton keepers posted 12 shutouts, tied for the second-most in program history, while Natalie Grossi set the program's individual record for shutouts in a season with 11. The Tigers won the Ivy League title and advanced through three NCAA tournament rounds, making the quarterfinals for the second time in the 64-team era that began in 2001.

Kranich was a four-year starter in goal at Villanova, earning All-Big East honors after a junior season that saw her spend part of the fall with the U.S. team at the FIFA U-20 World Cup. Jami was selected by the Boston Breakers during the 2014 NWSL Draft. Kranich played with the Breakers for three seasons.

Stephanie Demake

Boston College

Division 1

Stephanie Demake joined the Boston College women's soccer staff as an assistant coach in June 2023.

Demake spent the previous five seasons as the head coach at Post University, guiding the program to its highest win total in seven seasons in 2022 as well as the program's highest Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) finish since 2015. The Eagles and Demake earned the third seed in the 2022 CACC tournament and set a program record with seven straight wins during the season. In her time at Post, four of Demake's student-athletes were named to CACC All-Conference teams while 20 were CACC All-Academic Team honorees. Additionally, one student-athlete was named to Jamaica's Under-20 Women's National Team roster for the Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship.
 
Prior to Post, Demake spent the 2017 season as an assistant coach at Davidson College and from 2014-2016, Demake served as an assistant coach at Troy University and helped the Trojans to an overall mark of 30-10-2. Additionally, Demake has been an assistant at Stetson University, Ohio University and Wheaton College.
 
The Auburn, Mass. native began her coaching career with NEFC and has spent time coaching with club programs Connecticut Rush Select, Farmington Soccer Association, Lake Norman Soccer Club and Stetson Football Association.
 
Demake was a three-year member of the Worcester State women's soccer team, helping lead the Lancers to a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Championship and the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2007. She was a two-time MASCAC All-Conference honoree and was team captain as a senior. Demake also played one season at Hartford, winning the 2006 America East Championship.
 
Demake holds an Advanced National Diploma and a National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches, U.S. Soccer D License, and graduated from the NCAA Women's Coaches Academy program in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Worcester State and Master of Science in Recreation & Sport Sciences from Ohio University.

Katelyn Longino

Assistant Coach

Division 1

Katelyn Longino is entering her fourth season as an assistant coach with the University of Iowa soccer program.  She joined the Hawkeyes in 2018 following coaching stints at Valparaiso, Xavier, and Columbus State.

In three seasons, Longino has helped the program to 30 victories, two NCAA Tournament appearances and the first Big Ten title in school history.

During the 2020 season, Longino helped the team to its second straight NCAA Tournament berth.  After starting the season slowly, the Hawkeyes were playing their best soccer when matter most in the postseason.

With an expanded Big Ten postseason schedule due to league-only scheduling because of COVID, the Hawkeyes posted wins over second-seeded Illinois and third-seeded Minnesota in the Big Ten Regional weekend.  The team followed with a road win at top-seeded Penn State in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals before downing third-seeded Wisconsin to claim the programs first-ever Big Ten title.

The win in Happy Valley was the first for the program in school history and the fourth-ranked Nittany Lions were the highest ranked opponent Iowa defeated all-time.  Two freshmen forward Meike Ingles and goalkeeper Macy Enneking were named the Big Ten Tournament Most Outstanding Offensive and Defensive Players, respectively.  Ingles scored three-game winners in the tournament, while Enneking posted two shutouts and made 14 saves.

As a result, the Hawkeyes earned their second straight NCAA Tournament berth, and they continued to make history.  Shipped to North Carolina, Iowa tallied a 1-0 victory over Campbell on the Camels home turf to notch the first NCAA Tournament win in the record books.  Iowa had third-seeded UCLA on the ropes in the Round of 32 before surrendering two goals late in a 2-1 defeat.

Iowa finished the season with a 7-9-1 record, but all seven of the victories came in the teams final 10 games.  Enneking was a unanimous Big Ten All-Freshman team honoree. Academically, Iowa matched a school record with 19 Academic All-Big Ten selections, eight Hawkeyes were Big Ten Distinguished Scholars, the program had 31 Deans List honorees (in fall and spring semesters), and the program earned the United Soccer Team Academic Award, posting a 3.49 team grade point average.

During the 2019 season, Longino helped guide Iowa to one of the best seasons in program history.  The Hawkeyes opened the season with nine straight wins en route to a No. 17 national ranking, the highest in program history.  Iowa tied a school record, winning 15 games, including seven in Big Ten play, and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in program history.

The Hawkeyes tied a school record with three All-Big Ten selections and senior Natalie Winters became the first player in program history to earn postseason recognition in all four seasons.  Winters was also an all-region honoree for the second straight season.

Iowa was one of the Big Tens most potent offenses, ranking second in the league and 26th nationally.  The Hawkeyes had an NCAA-best 16 different goal scorers in 2019.  Defensively, Iowa posted eight shutouts and limited opponents to seven or fewer shots in 13 games.

The Hawkeyes shined academically as Iowa was the only school in the country to have two first-team Academic All-Americans.  Iowa also had three United Soccer Academic All-Region and a school-record 19 Academic All-Big Ten selections.

During her first season in Iowa City, Longino helped the Hawkeyes to an 8-7-3 overall record and a 4-5-2 mark in Big Ten play.  Iowa was in Big Ten Tournament contention until the final game, but fell short after battling Northwestern to a 1-1 draw.  Junior Natalie Winters was a third-team all-region and third-team All-Big Ten selection Iowas first all-region honoree since 2014.

In the classroom, Iowa earned the United Soccer Team Academic Award for a 12th straight season and the Hawkeyes had two Google Cloud Academic All-Americans the first two in program history.  Kaleigh Haus was a first-team selection; Hannah Drkulec earned second-team honors.  Iowa also had 10 players earn Academic All-Big Ten honors, 25 players with a 3.0 GPA or better, 14 Deans List, and four Presidents List honorees during the spring semester.

Longino spent the 2017 season with the Crusaders in their first season in the Missouri Valley Conference.  Valpo won nine games and finished 3-4 in MVC play.  She spent the 2016 season at Xavier, helping the Muskateers to seven wins.

Longino played as a freshman at Columbus State, helping the team to 18 wins and a berth in the NCAA Division II Sweet 16.  From there, she transitioned into coaching, serving as a student assistant for two seasons, helping guide CSU to a 21-1-1 record and an Elite Eight appearance in 2014.

In her final year at Columbus State, Longino served as an intern in the athletics department, working directly with womens soccer as the team won 22 matches and reached the national championship match.

Longino, who holds a USSF C coaching license, has held coaching positions with the Ohio Elite Soccer Association, CFC Red Star, and Columbus Youth Soccer. She graduated from Columbus State in 2016 with a bachelors degree in exercise science and she received her masters degree in coaching education and athlete development from Xavier in 2018.

Miles Maynard

Assistant Volunteer Coach

Division 1

Miles Maynard joined the Clemson University Womens Soccer coaching staff prior to the 2018 season and is entering his second season as Volunteer Assistant Coach in 2019. Since joining the staff, the tigers have had a 23-16-2 record. In 2018, the Tigers reached the semi-finals of the ACC conference tournament and a trip to the NCAA tournament. In 2019, the Tigers made it to the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament and to the second round of the NCAA tournament.




 


He also has coaching experience, working as Head Coach of C.C. Griffin Middle School girls soccer in 2014.




 


Maynard played goalkeeper at Pfeiffer University during the 2013 season. There the team reached the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Conference Tournament. He then transferred to the University of South Carolina-Aiken for the 2014 & 2015 season. In 2014, the Pacers were runners up in the Peach Belt Conference Championship. The Pacers made the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in program history and finished with the best record in program history 14-6-1. In 2015, the Pacers made it to the Quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.




 


The Suwanee, Georgia native played club soccer at United Futbol Academy and attended Lambert High School. In 2012, the boys soccer team at Lambert won the GHSA 4A State Championship going 23-0-0. The 2012 team was also named NSCAA (USC) National Champions. Maynard won the Most Improved Player Award in 2013.




 


Maynard graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is completing a Master of Science degree in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University graduating in August of 2020.




 


Maynard holds a United States Soccer Federation D License and a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma.




 



 

Cameron Fertenbaugh

Georgetown

Division 1

Cameron Fertenbaugh has joined the Georgetown University women's soccer coaching staff in February of 2023 as an assistant coach. He comes to Georgetown after being with FAU for 5 seasons.

Cameron Fertenbaugh joined the Florida Atlantic University womens soccer coaching staff in August of 2018 as an assistant and with the task of heading up the teams goalkeepers.

In 2021, Fertenbaugh coached freshman goalkeeper Amit Cohen to a strong season in between the pipes. Cohen recorded a goals against average of just 0.97, which is good for the eighth-best in a single season in FAU history. Cohen tallied 70 saves along with a save percentage of 0.787.

The 2020-21 year, despite postponements and a push back of the entire season to spring, saw more success in goal for the Owls, The combo of Cassidy Wasdin and Amit Cohen each earned C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week honors; Cohen was named to the C-USA All-Freshman team, and Wasdin a member of the C-USA All-Academic squad. The two combined for five shutouts, with all but one of those leading to an Owl victory, and limited opponents to a 1.22 GAA.

In 2019, the Owls made it back-to-back Conference USA regular season titles, and 15 victories, the third-most in program history and most since 2005. Fertenbaugh helped mentor Cassidy Wasdin to multiple awards in her first year in net: C-USA All-Freshman, to the All-C-USA Second Team, and four times, as C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week. The redshirt freshman finished with a 1.11 goals-against average, the seventh-lowest mark in C-USA, and posted five shutouts, ranking her sixth in C-USA.

In his first year with the program, the Owls were 12-8-1, and by going 8-1-1 in Conference USA play, earned a share of the C-USA regular season title. Under Fertenbaugh's tutelage, Jennifer Ocampo and Brianna Waggoner combined to notch six league shutouts and give up just five goals to C-USA opposition. Ocampo earned Second Team All-C-USA honors following her senior campaign, ranking second in the league with seven total shutouts, and fourth with 81 saves. She was also twice chosen as C-USA Goalkeeper of the Week.
 
Fertenbaugh was most recently a member of the womens soccer staff at Penn State University, in a season that saw the Nittany Lions go 15-5-4, win the Big 10 Tournament, advance to the NCAA quarterfinal round, and finish No. 5 in the United Soccer Coaches poll. He has vast experience mentoring goalkeepers, including as the goalkeeping staff coach for the Region 1 Olympic Development Program since 2016, while also scouting for them.
 
Additionally during this time, Fertenbaugh served as goalkeeping coach for the Lancaster Inferno of the United Womens Soccer league, and was the goalkeeping technical director for Mountain District Union of the Centre State Association. That was on top of being the head coach for the latter programs U19B and U10B squads.
 
Fertenbaugh also previously worked with Elite Soccer as goalkeeping coach for U-10 to U-17, and further prior experience came with Keystone FC (as goalkeeping technical director, goalkeeping academy director and coach from 2015-2017), as an assistant coach at York College of Pennsylvania, and at Mallard Creek High School, where he earned Mecklenburg District Assistant Coach of the Year.
 
Prior to entering into the coaching ranks, Fertenbaugh was a prolific player as well. He played professionally with Harrisburg Heat of the Major Arena Soccer League, and while in college, earned 2008 USCAA All-American honors with the Penn State Beaver squad. Also there, the year prior, he was named PSUAC All-Conference and All-Academic. As a member of the Penn State Soccer Club, he helped lead the team to the national quarterfinals in 2009.
 
Fertenbaugh earned his bachelor of science in economics from Penn State, and has numerous coaching licenses, including his USSF C license, and an NSCAA advanced national goalkeeper diploma.

Danny Lowton

Danny Lowton is in his second season with the Bulls after being hired by head coach Shawn Burke in July of 2023.

Lowton comes to Buffalo from Gannon University where he served as an assistant coach with the mens and womens programs, running all aspects of goalkeeping including recruiting, training, and video analysis of in-game performances. Off the pitch, he was also accountable for all aspects of nutrition and strength and conditioning.

On the womens side, he helped guide the Knights to a 38-16-9 overall record, including two NCAA National Tournament entries, a 2022 PSAC Regular Season Championship, the PSAC West Offensive Player of the Year and the PSAC West Freshman of the Year honors. Individually, the women produced a United Soccer Coaches All-American, multiple D2CAA Atlantic All-Region and USC All-Region honorees and placed nine student-athletes on PSAC All-Conference teams.

With the Gannon men, he helped lead the Knights to a 50-15-5 overall record, including two NCAA National Tournament appearances, a 2019 PSAC Regular Season Championship, three-time PSAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, two PSAC Freshman of the Year honors and the 2019 PSAC Offensive Player of the Year while also being a part of the 2020 NCAA DII Atlantic Regional Staff of the Year. Individually, the men produced four USC All-Americans, one D2CAA All-American, D2CAA Atlantic All-Region and USC All-Region honorees and placed 12 student-athletes on PSAC All-Conference teams.

A native of England, Lowton was a goalkeeper at Loughborough University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science in 2013. He then went on to play at Mercyhurst University, where he earned his Master of Science in Exercise Physiology.

Lucas Zicher

Lucas Zicher begins his first season as an assistant coach with the Hatters. He joined Chris Bergmann's staff in March of 2019.
 
Zicher comes to Stetson after spending last season as the goalkeeper coach for the mens program at Florida Southern. Prior to his time there Zicher also coached at Old Dominion, Coastal Carolina, Lake Forest College, and with numerous club and professional teams around the world.
 
Lucas is a fantastic addition to our program, Bergmann said. As a field coach, he has an excellent understating of defensive tactics along with being an outstanding goalkeeper coach; hell help us develop a very strong defense. As a recruiter he has wonderful contacts throughout the world along with all his club coaching connections within the United States. He will help us attract the right student-athletes who will be the right fit for Stetson and the womens soccer program.
 
At Florida Southern, Zicher played a key role in the development of the defensive unit, coaching the goalkeepers, as well as recruiting. During his one season in Lakeland the Mocs enjoyed their best finish since 2001 and were ranked nationally for four consecutive weeks, reaching a high of No. 8 in early October.
 
I want to say thanks to Chris Bergmann and the administration for this opportunity, Zicher said. I am excited to join the Stetson family, and look forward to contributing and being an asset to the program, institution and community.
 
Prior to his time at Florida Southern, Zicher spent two seasons at Coastal Carolina, helping the Chanticleers to a pair of second-place conference finishes. In 2016, Coastal set a team record with 12 shutouts.
 
Zicher has spent the bulk of his coaching career working with a variety of club and professional teams in the United States, Europe and Australia.
 
Zicher is a 2009 graduate of Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill. He owns an NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 2 Diploma and a USSF D Coaching License.

Marsha Lycan

William and Mary

Division 1

Marsha Fishburne Lycan ?87 enters her sixth season with the Tribe women's soccer program. Lycan, who played at W&M from 1983-86, was promoted to the program's associate head coach during the spring of 2022.

Lycan moved up to the full-time assistant role in 2018 to help former teammate Julie Shackford usher in a new era of Tribe women's soccer. Over her five seasons an assistant, Lycan has helped in mentoring 10 All-CAA selection. In 2017, the Tribe posted eight wins and advanced to the CAA Semifinals. Rachel Moore was named to the All-CAA First Team and went on to be selected as the first pick of the fourth round by the Washington Spirit in the NWSL Draft.

Lycan rejoined the Tribe in 2017 after serving as an assistant coach at the University of New England over the previous six seasons. The Nor?Easters compiled a 62-39-12 record, including three 12-plus-win seasons during her tenure. UNE was ranked as high as eighth in the region, and were ECAC finalist in 2014 and 2015. Lycan helped mentor 30 players to all-conference honors, while three players were tabbed as conference players of the year, and two went on to All-America honors.

She also has an extensive background on the youth level coaching with many different groups dating back to 2001. Most recently, Lycan was in the head coach for the GPS Maine U17/U18 Girls Elite team from 2012-2017. She also served as the director of coaching at the Falmouth Youth Soccer Association, where she oversaw the teams and coaches for 30 boys and girls teams. With FYSA, she coached various levels since, including leading the U9-U14 girls? team to three straight state finals appearances from 2004-2006. Lycan also served as the Director of High School Age Girls Program for Maine Coast United from 2001-12. She led the U10-18 Girls to five consecutive Maine State Championship, which is a state record. She earned her NSCAA Premier Diploma in March of 2011, after earning her NSCCA Advanced Diploma in May of 2010. She holds an USSF National ?D? License. Soccer Maine tabbed her the Premier Coach of the Year in 2010.

Lycan appeared in 59 games for the Green and Gold, while she scored 12 goals, recorded seven assists, and 31 points. She helped the Tribe to the 1983 Division I ECAC Championship, before leading Tribe to three straight NCAA Tournaments from 1984-86. Lycan graduated from W&M with a degree psychology in 1987.

She returned to Williamsburg after she raised her children in Maine for 17 years. Having grown up at West Point, her family boasts eight West Point graduates, including two of her children, Allie and Cooper, who are both currently Army Officers. Her youngest son, Brody, is a student at the University of Maine.

Michael Skelton

Skelton comes to Catamount Country after a two-year stint at Niagara University in the same role. Skelton was involved in all aspects of the program at Niagara including individual player development, scouting reports, recruiting, video analysis and travel management. In his time with the Purple Eagles they were 11-11-2 and advanced to the MAAC Semifinals in 2019 and the MAAC Quarterfinals during the spring of 2021.
 
During his stint in Western New York Skelton was also the Head Coach of the 2009 and 2006 WNY Flash girls teams. Prior to Niagara, he served as an assistant coach at Colby College and UNC Asheville.
 
Skelton, a native of Conway, N.H., was an All-American soccer player at Lasell College in Newton, Mass. He served as team captain in three of his collegiate seasons and was named GNAC Player of the Year twice. He holds the Lasell College record for goals and points in a season and career goals and points. Following the completion of his collegiate career, Skelton spent time playing semi-professional soccer in England.

Katie Van Aken

Aken 12 returned to the Haverford College womens soccer program as a volunteer assistant at the start of the 2014 season. During her playing career with the Fords, Van Aken was a first-team All-Centennial Conference selection during the 2009 and 2011 seasons, earning second-team All-Centennial Conference honors in 2010. Van Aken went on to earn second-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region honors during her senior campaign in 2011. She was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll during each of her final three seasons.
Van Aken helped Haverford qualify for the Centennial Conference playoffs in each of her four seasons. She scored a career-high nine goals during her 2009 season, while recording a career-best 22 points (eight goals, six assists) during her senior campaign. Van Aken broke the school record for game-winning goals (15) prior to her graduation and now ranks second all-time in that category. Her 30 goals and 72 points ranks fifth and seventh, respectively, in Haverfords program history.
Van Aken is currently attending Drexel University where she is a graduate researcher working towards her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Materials Engineering.

Brienne Smith

Smith will enter her 11th season at the helm for the Cougars in the fall of 2025, leading the program turnaround since coming back to her alma mater in 2014.

After winning just 4 games in her first two seasons, the Cougars have averaged 9.66 wins per season, and qualified for the NEWMAC Tournament in 2017, 2021, and 2022. This past fall of 2022, the Cougars advanced to the NEWMAC Championship Game for the first time in program history. They finished in second place with a conference record of 6-2-2 and an overall record of 12-6-2, and ended the season ranked 4th in NCAA Region 2.  For the second straight season, the Cougars had 3 All-Conference players, including the NEWMAC Player of the Year, Jamie Joseph, and 2 United Soccer Coaches All-Region players in Joseph and Jayme Brown. Joseph also earned a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America team.

Prior to arriving at Clark, Smith spent four years as the head women's soccer coach at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. where she guided the Greyhounds to four straight Landmark Conference Tournament appearances, including a berth in the Landmark Championship Game in 2012. During that 2012 season, Smith was named Landmark Coach of the Year, while two of her student-athletes garnered the league's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year awards, respectively. Her program saw eight student-athletes earn a combined 13 All-Conference citations during her tenure, including six First-Team selections.

Prior to Moravian, Smith spent nine years as an assistant coach at Tufts University. During her time with the Jumbos, Smith helped lead them to three NCAA Tournament berths, including a trip to the Final Four in 2005 and more than 80 victories.

Smith was a four-year letter winner with the Cougars appearing in 68 of 76 games from 1997-00. She was part of the 1998 team that won a school-record 17 games and garnered the school's lone NCAA Tournament bid. A 2001 Clark University graduate with a degree in psychology and a minor in education, Smith also holds a master's degree in physical education from Bridgewater State and an Advanced National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches.

Robert Tomecek

Coach Rob will begin his third season as the assistant coach at Washington and Lee University in the Fall 2024 season.




In his 2 years as an assistant coach, he has helped guide W&L to a 27-6-9 record with back-to-back appearances in the NCAA Tournament.



Coach Rob comes to W&L after serving for the past 2 years as the Womens Soccer Graduate Assistant Coach at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In 2021, Carthage was 1 win away from making the CCIW Tournament.


Coach Rob came to Carthage from Wartburg College in Iowa where he served as the womens assistant coach for two seasons and as the mens assistant coach for one season. In his two seasons with the womens program, the Knights went 28-9-4 winning a conference championship, made two appearances in the NCAA Tournament, along with finishing Top 25 in the country in Division III in 2019. In his first season with the mens program, the Knights went 8-8-2 and made an appearance in their conference tournament. Tomecek assisted in all facets of the programs during his time at Wartburg.



Before Wartburg, Coach Rob was at Benet Academy in Lisle, Ill., where he was the assistant coach for the girl's varsity soccer team. In 2018, he helped guide the team to a 20-4-1 record and its first appearance in the IHSA Supersectionals since 2012. The 20 wins that season also set a program record. He was also named the East Suburban Catholic Conference Co-Assistant Coach of the Year. Tomecek worked primarily with the defenders, and also worked as a volunteer assistant coach for the girl's varsity team since 2012 before becoming a full-time assistant in 2018.



Tomecek was a four-year starter as a defender for Macalester College. In 2015, he helped the Scots win the MIAC regular-season championship, finish undefeated during the regular season including an appearance in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2010.



Tomecek graduated from Macalester in December of 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics graduated with his Masters Degree in Education from Carthage in 2022.

Laszlo Van Straelen

Laszlo van Straelen joined the Women's Soccer coaching staff in February 2024. 

Prior to his arrival at Rollins, van Straelen served as the assistant coach for women's soccer at D-III Sewanee dueing the 2023 season. At Sewanee, van Straelen was the lead in practice planning, spearheaded player evaluation and recuriting, and was essential in operations management. 

The Tigers finished 14-2-4, winning the SAA regular season and tournament championships for the first time in school history. Sewanee played in the National Championship tournament for the first time, winning their opening round matchup with Hanover College, 2-0. Lazslo was part of a the SAA Coaching Staff of the Year alongside head coach Greg Cathell. The Tigers had ten players named All-SAA, four players named All-Region XI, and had the school's first All-American in over twenty years in Brianna Fee.

Prior to his time at Sewanee, Laszlo served as an assistant for the men's program at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. During his time, the Tigers were regionally ranked and received votes in the D-III Top 25. HSC had three all-conference players in 2022, and made the semi-finals of the ODAC Tournament. 

Aside from his work at the collegiate level, van Straelen also served a shead coach for FC Richmond U14 Magic Classic and DCXI Juniors. During Fall 2021, he also served as head coach for the Maret Middle School boys team. 

His playing days saw him compete collegiately at Guilford College where he was a four-year letterwinner as a midfielder and defender. During his time, the Quakers reached the ODAC conference championship game for the first time in school history. Laszlo represented men's soccer on the SAAC, was a member of the Equity in Athletics committee, and a two-time ODAC All-Academic selection.

In 2020, he played abroad for A.V.V. Zeeburgia 021 in the ONDER 21 COMPETITIE, a profesional U21 competition in the Netherlands.   

Originally from Takoma PArk, Maryland, van Straelen graduated from Guilford College in 2021 with a degree in sports management. He holds a C coaching license with the United States Soccer Federation, and speaks advanced Spanish and conversational Dutch.

Scott Myers will be in his second year with UIS for the 2025-26 season. The Prairie Stars had a successful year under Coach Myers in 2024 and are looking to continue improving this season. Coach Myers returns 19 players from the previous season. The Stars will lean on this depth to propel them to another great run in the GLVC.  

The 2024 Star season was highlighted with many great moments. Coach Myers led the Stars to an overall record of 8-7-3 and a 8-5-1 conference record. While racking up their wins, the lady stars were able to go on a 5 game unbeaten streak that was capped off with a major 3-1 win over Southwest Baptist. Another key victory in the season was when the Stars defeated Lincoln (MO) 6-0, which was a season high goal total for the Stars.

Coach Myers earned a GLVC tournament berth in his first season. This achievement extends the Lady Stars streak to 3 straight post season tournament berths. Coach Myers also helped lead 3 players to earn All-GLVC honors. Brooke Biffar, Allison Mirimanian, and Katelynn Ward all earned Third Team Honors.

Before Coach Myers tenure at UIS, he gained over twenty years of coaching experience across the NCAAs divisions as well as club coaching in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. Myers was previously the Technical Director at Fusion Soccer Club and Girls Academy Director at Tonka Fusion Elite in Plymouth, Minn., where he coached youth soccer as well as the clubs semi-pro womens team.

Myers most recent stretch in collegiate coaching was at nearby Illinois State University where he was the Assistant Head Coach in 2017 and 2018. Myer's was named the Associate Head Coach for the Redbirds for the 2019 season.

Prior to ISU, Myers coached womens soccer at his alma mater Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 2013-16. The Kohawks were regionally ranked No. 1 and nationally ranked No. 15 in 2015 by the NSCAA. He produced the programs first all-region player in 2014 along with multiple all-conference players, and recruited over 50 student-athletes with a 95-percent retention rate.

Myers was the head coach at Menlo College from 2010-13, where he led the Oaks to their program-first postseason appearance. He coached eleven FIrst Team All-Cal Pac Conference student-athletes, three Cal Pac Defenders of the Year, two Newcomers of the Year, and a Player of the Year.

Along with various club teams, Myers was an assistant coach at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University from 2008-10 and at the University of Redlands from 2006-08. While at Embry Riddle, the team qualified for the NAIA National Tournament in 2008 and 2009. He also developed and coordinated strength and conditioning and nontraditional-season training programs.

To go with his Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Secondary Teaching from Coe in 2001, Myers earned his Masters in Higher Education from Redlands in 2008, where he was an assistant coach. At Redlands, Myers served as the recruiting coordinator and also developed and implemented nontraditional-season training plans.

Myers holds a USSF National C License, NSCAA Goalkeeping Diplomas at levels I, II and III, NSCAA National Distinguish Pass license, NSCA Advanced National Distinguish Pass license and a NSCAA Premier Diploma.

Marquis Walker

Marquis Walker is entering his sixth season as head women's soccer coach at Thomas More University during the 2020-21 academic year.  

Walker came to Thomas More after serving as an assistant women's soccer coach at NCAA Division I member Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.  During the 2017 season, Canisius won the Big 4 Cup, by defeating the other three Division I teams (University of Buffalo, Niagara University, and St. Bonaventure University) in Western New York, while making the conference tournament for the first time in four years.  Canisius also excelled in the classroom as 23 of the 24 student-athletes had a GPA over 3.0 and the team had the highest GPA among female teams in the athletic department.

Walker was the head women's soccer coach at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford during the 2016 season.  The team advanced to the conference tournament semi-finals and had five first-team All-Conference selections, nine All-Conference Academic Award winners and the team earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award.  From 2002-2008 he was the head men's soccer coach at Malone University in Canton, Ohio.  Walker helped the team transition from NAIA to NCAA Division II and grew the roster from 25 to 42 players with six of his players going on to play professionally at the highest level in the MLS, the European Champions League, and for their own national teams in Scotland, England, and Mexico.

Walker has coached at the high school level, where he was the head varsity girls soccer coach at Hudson High School in Ohio during the 2015 season.  He led Hudson to a 15-2-2 record with a District Runner-up finish, while finishing ranked No. 7 in Ohio Division I.  Walker also was an assistant men's soccer coach at Hiram College for two seasons.  He assisted in scouting, evaluating, training, coordinating travel and academic performance at Hiram.  Walker has club experience as he has coached with the Everest Soccer Club in Hudson, Ohio and the Western NY Flash Academy in Buffalo, New York.

Walker played collegiately at Malone, where he was a four-year starter (85-of-86 game), was a two-time all-conference and East Regional selection as well as a two-time team MVP and team captain.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Malone in 2002 and Master of Business Administration from Malone in 2009.  Walker also has a Master of Science in Management from the University of Akron.  Walker holds a UEFA B License through the Welsh FA, as well as the Premier Diploma, Advanced National Diploma, National Goalkeeping Diploma, and a National Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches.  He has also earned his National C License from the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and currently working on his UEFA  B License.

Walker and his wife, Molly, have a daughter Isabella (15)  and three sons Trajan (12), Gabriel (10) and Maximus (8).

Hannah Sullivan

Assistant coach Hannah Sullivan enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Marian women's soccer team. 



Sullivan is a 2020 graduate from Indiana State University where she was a four-year member of the Sycamores women's soccer team. Sullivan majored in communications at Indiana State, completing a minor in coaching. 



Sullivan played in 43 matches and started 39 in four seasons as the Indiana State goalkeeper, logging 177 career saves which ranks fifth in ISU program history. 



As a high school player, Sullivan reached three semi-state appearances with Fishers High School, winning the state championship in 2014



Sullivan has earned her United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma. 

Anna Hardin

Anna Hardin (pronounced AH nah) is entering her second season after being named the Union University women's soccer program assistant coach in June 2019. Hardin came to Union having served two seasons as the assistant women's soccer coach and three seasons as the assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Oxford College of Emory University. 

During her time at Oxford College of Emory University, the worked in many areas of coaching in both soccer and tennis. She planned and ran practices, helped develop skills of players, helped with game preparation, statistical analysis, recruiting, and team management. 

Hardin's career also includes being an instructor within the Center of Healthful Living at Oxford College of Emory University. She holds a goalkeeping diploma from the United Soccer Coaches Association of America and is also certified in CPR and AED with the American Heart Association. 

As a tennis coach, Hardin coach the men's team to four consecutive national tournaments, while helping lead the women's team to three national tournaments. 

Hardin is a 2015 graduate of Valdosta State University where she earned a BFA degree in art education. She was a goalkeeper for the Blazers' inaugural season in 2011 and second season in 2012.

She is a 2011 graduate of South Forsyth High School. She started three years as varsity keeper, was named all-county twice, Best Defender twice, and earned the Iron Eagle Award. She led her team as captain to the quarterfinals of the state championships. 

She also played club soccer for AFC Lightning Elite 93 in Fayetteville, Ga. for three years. She led her team to multiple Atlanta Cup Championships, Nike Norcross Cup Championships, and a Georgia State Cup finalist.

Esther Webb

Esther Webb was named the sixth coach of the Highlanders women's soccer program in February 2022.
 
Webb, who came to Houghton after coaching for one season at Empire 8 institution Elmira College, is no stranger to the Houghton community. The local product prepped at Fillmore Central School before earning eight varsity letters as a dual-sport student-athlete in soccer and basketball for the Highlanders. Webb also spent one season on the sidelines at her alma mater during the fall of 2018 as an assistant women's soccer coach.
 
At Elmira, Webb led the Soaring Eagles to a 3-12-3 mark on the field in 2021, including one-goal losses to E8 tournament participants Hartwick, Nazareth and Utica, while also serving as the departments SAAC advisor.

Prior to taking the position at Elmira, Webb served as head coach at Eastern Nazarene College, a Division III institution located in Quincy, Mass. In her first full season in 2019, the Lions qualified for the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Tournament and placed three on the All-NECC Second Team. Displaying dedication in the classroom, the Lions logged a 3.34 grade-point average during the 2019-20 academic year and received a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award.

In addition to her responsibilities as head coach at Eastern Nazarene, Webb served as a professor in the sport management department and taught classes on sports psychology and ethics.

Webb's coaching career began as an assistant at Ohio Christian University under former River States Conference (RSC) Coach of the Year recipient, Jake Warren. During her first year at Ohio Christian, the Trailblazers captured the 2016 RSC regular-season title and finished as tournament runners-up. Webb helped mentor the conference's 2016 Player and Newcomer of the Year, in addition to 10 total All-RSC honorees.
 
"Being given the opportunity to coach at my alma mater and within a community as special as Houghton is something that I am extremely grateful for. The Houghton community has played an integral role in my life and I am ecstatic to be back, said Webb. Houghton College provides student-athletes phenomenal opportunities academically, spiritually and personally. I believe these opportunities, coupled with the high caliber student-athletes Houghton draws and my experiences coaching at the DIII level, will propel this program to be consistently competitive within the Empire 8 and NCAA Division III."  

As a student-athlete, Webb helped make history as a starting defender on the first-ever Houghton women's team to win a national championship. Her senior season concluded with the 2015 National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Division I title following a 4-2 shootout win over NCAA Division II Mississippi College. Webb played a vital role in the Highlanders' three shutout victories during the tournament and was rewarded with a spot on the NCCAA All-Tournament Team.
 
Webb is passionate about sports ministry, and has traveled to Brazil, Austria and Romania with the Houghton women's soccer team and Nicaragua with the Houghton women's basketball team.

Webb earned a bachelor's in Business Administration and Communications from Houghton in 2016. She completed her MBA at Ohio Christian in 2018.

Jesse Goleman

Pitt womens soccer has added volunteer coach Jesse Goleman for the fall 2021 season. A Pittsburgh native, Goleman serves as the goalkeeper coach for the Panthers.

Last year Goleman worked in this role for the Northeastern mens soccer team and over the summer for the USL League Two Champions Des Moines Menace.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Goleman spent three seasons at Centenary University in New Jersey and was part of the 2016 Colonial States Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year after helping Centenary win the conference championship and advance to the NCAA tournament. He has worked with 20 all-conference selections and one conference player of the year during his time working with Centenary, Chatham University, Seton Hill University and Carlow Universty.

We are very excited to announce that Jesse Goleman will be joining our staff this fall as our volunteer goalkeeper coach, said Pitt head coach Randy Waldrum. Jesse previously served at Northeastern as a part of the mens staff and has had previous other stops including Centenary, Chatham and Seton Hill. This summer he was the goalkeeper coach for the Des Moines Menace in the USL2 and they had a very successful campaign winning the National Championship. Jesse will be a great addition as he is very knowledgeable and has great rapport with our goalkeepers. Im excited to see the improvements they make under his direction!

As a player, Goleman was a three-time all-conference selection at Centenary University and led the Cyclones to their first-ever CSAC championship and NCAA tournament appearance in 2013. He represented the USA Maccabi Team on three different occasions (2012, '13, '15) in Brazil, Israel and Chile. Goleman ended his career at Centenary as the all-time leader in saves, goals against average, save percentage, shutouts and wins.

Goleman led Allderdice High School to three City League Championships and finished as the all-time leader in shutouts with 25 and as the record holder for fewest goals against in a season with nine. Hes inducted into Western Pennsylvania Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.

In the summer of 2019, Goleman started his own company, Goleline, LLC, which specializes in strength and conditioning for goalkeepers. He earned a degree in business administration from Centenary University in 2016.

Chris Allen

Chris Allen, who served as a volunteer assistant with the Billikens in 2016, is in his first season as a full-time assistant coach.
 

I am thrilled to have Chris join our staff as a full-time assistant coach, head coach Katie Shields said. Weve already had the privilege of working with him for a year, so we know his exceptional qualities on and off the field. His positivity and passion for Saint Louis University, our program and our student-athletes made him the obvious choice for this position.

 

Since his arrival at SLU, Chris has been relentless in finding ways to improve and grow every facet of our program, Shields said. I look forward to having him on board full time as we continue to educate our student-athletes, compete for and win championships on the field, and grow our presence in the community.

 

I feel incredibly blessed and am so grateful to be given this opportunity, Allen said. After spending last year as a volunteer assistant, I have grown to appreciate just how special SLU and the Billiken women's soccer program are. To be able to join the Billiken family in a full-time capacity is a dream come true.

 

Prior to his one-year stint as a SLU volunteer assistant, Allen spent nine seasons as girls soccer head coach at Webster Groves High School.

 

Allen transformed Webster Groves into a perennial power in Missouri. During his tenure, the Statesmen achieved a No. 4 national ranking and finished third in the Class 3 state tournament in 2015; enjoyed six 20-win seasons; won numerous conference and tournament titles; and produced more than 30 players who went on to compete at the collegiate level. Allen tallied a 164-71-5 record at the helm.

 

Allen was tabbed Missouri Class 3 Regional Coach of the Year the past two seasons and was selected to coach in the 2015 Missouri Athletic Club High School Soccer All-Star Game. He garnered five conference Coach of the Year awards.

 

Allen spent two seasons as boys head coach at Gonzaga Prep and one season as girls head coach at Mead High School, both located in Spokane, Washington. He served as an assistant coach of boys teams at Webster Groves (six seasons), Rockwood Summit (two seasons) and Gonzaga Prep (two seasons). Allen was a girls assistant coach at Webster Groves (one season) and Gonzaga Prep (two seasons).

 
Also the technical director of Four Rivers Futbol Club in Union, Missouri, Allen was a three-year starter at Kirkwood High School before playing one season at Calvin College, where he earned second-team All-Conference plaudits. He transferred to Truman State and graduated with a bachelors degree in exercise science/sports management in 2002.

Wilson (Junior) de Medeiros has served as an assistant for the Herons'  soccer team since 2015. In 2019 he also was placed in charge of the William Smith Soccer JV team. 
 
Medeiros has helped the Herons to a 97-9-4 overall record and five straight Liberty League Conference titles, regular season and postseason, and NCAA Championship appearances including the 2019 National Championship final. He has worked with with nine All-American players in that time. Medeiros has been a part of the William Smith coaching staff that earned the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year award in 2017 and 2019 and United Soccer Coaches Regional Staff of the Year in 2019.
 
The Herons posted a 21-2-1 record in 2019. William Smith finished the year ranked No. 2 in the final United Soccer Coaches poll. The Herons advanced to the Championship game the NCAA tournament. William Smith was a perfect 9-0-0 in the Liberty League and captured its 13th consecutive regular season and tournament title.   

The Herons posted a 17-3-1 record in 2018. William Smith finished the year ranked No. 5 in the final United Soccer Coaches poll. The Herons advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA tournament. William Smith was 9-1-0 in the Liberty League and captured its 12th consecutive regular season and tournament title. 

The Herons posted a 19-2-0 record in 2017. William Smith finished the year ranked No. 7 in the final United Soccer Coaches poll. The Herons advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament. William Smith was a perfect 9-0-0 in Liberty League play and captured their 11th straight conference regular season and tournament titles. 

The Herons posted a 21-1-0 overall record in 2016. The Herons finished the year ranked No. 5 in the final NSCAA poll. William Smith advanced to the NCAA tournament quarterfinals. The Herons were a perfect 8-0-0 in Liberty League play and captured their 10th straight conference regular season and tournament titles.

A native of Rio de Janiero, Brazil, Junior is one of the true pioneer's in soccer development, he is the the founder of the Safe Zone Method with he has developed through his experience playing and coaching with some of the biggest professional clubs and soccer programs in the world. The Herons have adopted many components of Coach Juniors methodology.

Medeiros grew up playing on the streets and beaches of Brazil and was one of the original developers of world-wide beach soccer and FUTSAL in Rio de Janeiro.

Sarah E Raymond

Veteran coach Sarah Raymond, an assistant at Williams the past four years, has been named Michelyne Pinard's successor as the head coach of the Williams College women's soccer program. The Ephs have won three of the last five Div. III national championships and made two Elite 8 appearances in the years they did not wear the crown. Raymond has 14 years of head coaching experience at the Div. III collegiate level. She spent six years as the head coach of Clarkson University prior to her arrival at Williams, and eight years before that as head coach of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. Her career mark is 126-98-27. Raymond's appointment was announced by Williams' Director of Athletics Lisa Melendy, who said the search for Pinard's successor began in early November immediately after the conclusion of the soccer season and attracted 84 applicants from around the globe. "I am very excited to announce Sarah Raymond has accepted our offer to be the next Williams women's soccer coach," Melendy said "She distinguished herself among an extremely strong field of candidates. The committee was impressed with her deep knowledge of the game of soccer and her equally deep understanding of the role of athletics at a liberal arts college. She has a demonstrated history of putting students and relationship building at the center of her coaching. I could not be more pleased to have her step into this new role at Williams. I am confident the team is in good hands as it begins the next chapter of Williams women's soccer." Pinard announced in July of 2019 she would depart Williams after her 18th season. She will become the athletic director at The Thacher School, a private boarding school in Ojai, Calif. Over the last four years under Pinard and Raymond, the Ephs have gone 68-8-10, winning the national championship in 2017 and 2018. The Ephs also captured a NESCAC championship in 2017 and a Little 3 title in 2017. "I would like to thank Lisa Melendy and the search committee for this amazing opportunity to be the next leader of the Williams' Women's Soccer program," Raymond said. "Williams has been a standard bearer for excellence, competitive success and empowering young women. It has been a privilege to be part of this program over the past four years so I know first-hand what incredible women I have the honor of interacting with on a daily basis. I want to thank the players and outgoing head coach, Michelyne Pinard, for their belief and support throughout this process. I am so excited to continue the standard of excellence that Williams women's soccer is known for and through my passion for the game, inspire the next generation of Ephs. I am so fortunate to be surrounded by the coaches in the Williams athletic department; driven, competitive professionals who deeply care about their athletes and who I can learn from every day." At Clarkson, Raymond guided the Golden Knights to their first winning season since 1992 in her second year at the helm of the program; 2011. She was selected as the 2011 Liberty League Coach of the Year. Raymond repeated that feat in her final season, 2015, as Clarkson finished 8-7-2.

Joe Sagar

Joe Sagar is the new head women's soccer coach at Lawrence University.

A native of Manchester, England, Sagar has been working at Augustana since the 2014 season. During his four seasons with the Augustana women's program, the Vikings put together a 44-26-4 record and made one NCAA Division III Tournament appearance.

Sagar was a standout goalkeeper at McKendree University in Lebanon, Ill., and is the school's career record holder in saves (205), goals against average (0.90), victories (50) and shutouts (19). Sagar earned a bachelor's degree in physical education from McKendree in 2012 and graduated with a master's degree in educational leadership with an emphasis in higher education administration from the University of Nevada-Reno in 2014.

Before attending college, Sagar played professional soccer in Great Britain. He played with Glasgow Rangers FC for two years and helped that team win the Scottish Premier League Under 19 title and the Scottish Premier League Youth Cup in 2007. He also played for Porthmadog FC in the Welsh Premier League and made starting appearances for Porthmadog in the Welsh Cup.

Kirsten Koester

Kirsten Koester was named the Grinnell women's soccer coach in June of 2014 after serving as head coach at Cornell College. 
She has enjoyed a successful stint at Grinnell, qualifying for the Midwest Conference Tournament four of her six years while going 32-20-4 in league play and 51-48-8 overall. Her 2018 team posted a 7-2 league record, their most MWC wins since 2012.

In 2016, Koester guided the Pioneers to their first trip to the MWC championship match for the first time since 2006. Additionally, the 2016 team strung together a six-game winning streak, the longest for a Grinnell squad since 2008. In 2022, women's soccer claimed the MWC Title and Championship to make a post-season appearance in the NCAA Tournament. 
 
Before coming to Grinnell, Koester found success at Cornell and in 2013 guided the Rams to their best season since 2002.

Prior to coaching at Cornell, Koester was head soccer coach and athletics recruiting coordinator at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland for two years.
 
The Stoughton, Wis., native attended Luther College where she was a standout player. A two-time All-Iowa Conference midfielder for the Norse, she also served as team captain and was voted the teams Most Valuable Player as a senior while leading the squad to the league title. Koester also played basketball three years at Luther.
 
Koester received a bachelors degree in English and Art in 2005 and remained in Decorah as an assistant basketball coach for Luther during the 2005-06 season.
 
Koester gained her masters degree in English from Washington College in Maryland in 2009. She was the assistant womens soccer coach at Washington from 2006-08 and also assisted the womens basketball squad for a season.

Jared Rose was named the head coach of the Agnes Scott College soccer program on August 15, 2023. 

Prior to joining Agnes Scott, Rose was coaching in Ohio for the last 11 years. Collegiately, he coached at Walsh University as the  Assistant Coach of the mens soccer team, as well as directing area at one of the top ECNL clubs in the country, Internationals SC.

In College: Over the past 4 years Rose has spent coaching at the Division 2 collegiate level at Walsh University. Starting as a volunteer in 2019, he had an immediate impact helping the team to their first winning season since 2011.  For the Fall 2021 season, Rose was appointed to the full time assistant role where he picked up where he left off.  He was given a lead role, and even more involved with player development, design & implementation of  training sessions, in charge of video analysis, & relied on for game tactics and management which helped the Cavaliers to new heights. The team had the best start in program history (7-0-2), as well as the best finish since joining the GMAC conference at 4th, hosting their first ever GMAC quarter final. The team made the semi-finals for the first time & over the course of the season were ranked as high as #22 in the Nation.  In the 2022 season, Walsh again tied the best start in program history (7-0-2) & reached a ranking of #11 in the country, breaking the top 20 for the first time in program history. 

In Club: Rose joined  the Internationals Soccer club starting back in 2012. While at Internationals SC, Rose coached some of the best young players in Ohio. He then moved into a Director role very quickly and began to have a larger impact within the club.  He helped the club develop & organize its training curriculum for the U13-U19 aged players with season plans, individual development plans, & GAP (Guided Activity Plans) that would allow the players to stay focused on their individual goals, team goals, and training plan on their own.  He was in charge of the video platform & analysis that would allow athletes to have video of games & highlights as well as giving data on each game & player.  He was in charge of bringing on a recruitment platform for the club to better track & help athletes to move on to the collegiate level.  He was an integral part of the clubs success over the last 11 years, not only  growing the club in numbers, retaining top level players, teaching life lessons through hard work and discipline in sport, and developing players mentally & athletically to compete at the next level (College & Professional).  But also success on the field, helping them to win at almost every age group U13-U19 in the ECNL conference & having the best percentage of success between the 2 divisions within the Ohio Valley Conference in the ECNL.  He has won 3 National Championships over his time at the club & helped countless players obtain collegiate scholarships across the NCAA D1-D3 levels as well as NAIA. Rose holds a USSF National "B" license as well as a Masters in Sports Science - Coaching.

Rose has experience coaching at every level & in many parts of the country. Other coaching roles in Ohio include time with University of Akron - Women's Soccer (3 years) & Hathaway Brown HS (2 years). Before Ohio, when coaching in FL, he worked with Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club (4 years) & Carrollton HS (2 years). Rose started his coaching career in 2006 as a student coach at Michigan State University.

Rose had an outstanding college soccer career at NCAA Division I Florida International University from 2002-2005.  While in college, FIU was consistently ranked in the top 25 in the country & competed in the NCAA Championships every year, making the sweet 16 in 2003.  He was a two-time all-conference player & became team Captain during his senior season. 

Rose lives in Georgia with his wife, Christine, and his 2 Daughters, Katarina & Daniella.

Coach Rose: I am so excited to be joining such a prestigious school like Agnes Scott.  I cant thank Dr. Richardson & Dean Martin for their trust in me to lead the soccer program to new heights and bringing me in to  join the Scotties family.  The whole athletic department as well as leaders of the college have been so welcoming, together, to make it an unbelievable place to be.  My focus will be helping young women to be the best versions of themselves through athletics.  Through soccer/sport, you can develop positive habits & friendships/relationships that will help you in your overall life outside of sport.  To show dedication, responsibility, & commitment to yourself & to other like-minded individuals, really helps you develop into an amazing person with a positive character.

Brooke Lincoln

The 2025 season marks Brooke Lincoln's seventh at Azusa Pacific. She was named the fifth head coach in Azusa Pacific women's soccer program history in January of 2018.

Since Lincoln's arrival, the program has posted a 55-33-16 record, 12 of those wins were contributed from the 2024 campaign where the Cougars broke onto the national stage with a NCAA West Regional appearance after finishing 4th in the PacWest standings in the 2023, 2022 and 2021 season seasons.

In 2022, the Cougars went 9-4-4, posting a 6-2-2 conference record, and was receiving votes for the Top-25 National poll for the second consecutive year.



In 2021, Lincoln led the Cougars to an 11-5-1 record, including a 6-3-1 conference mark. At the conclusion of the season, the Cougars ranked eighth in the regional rankings and also received votes for the Top-25 National poll for their efforts throughout the season. 



In 2019, the Cougars finished 9-7-2 overall, with a 5-5-1 record in PacWest play that placed them sixth in the final conference standings. On Nov. 5, Lincoln and her team upset rival Biola by a 2-1 score. Biola had entered the match as the first place team in the conference with an 11-game unbeaten streak, but a tough and gritty performance lifted the Cougars to the big win in front of their home fans.

In 2018, which was Lincolns first season at the helm of the program, Azusa Pacific went 6-9-2 overall. While the Cougars struggled to find their rhythm at the beginning of the season, Lincolns system began to blossom and come to fruition in conference play, as the squad went 6-3-2 against PacWest competition to close the season out.

Through seven seasons at the helm, Lincoln has coached four All-Region and 27 All-PacWest performers. Off the pitch, her teams have also excelled in the classroom, as she has had 82 Academic All-PacWest honorees from 2018-22. For the 2019-20 school year, the Cougars posted a team GPA of 3.61.

Lincoln has served as the head coach at Asbury University (Ky.) for the past five seasons. During her tenure with the Eagles she has tallied a 51-32-15 overall record. She had a decorated tenure at the NAIA school. She won three regular season River State Conference titles (formerly the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), two league tournament titles which earned two berths into the national tournament. Lincoln was named the conference Coach of the Year on two occasions. In addition, she coached three Conference Players of the Year and 17 all-conference players.

Lincoln went to Asbury after serving as a graduate assistant at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss. During the 2012 season Lincoln helped Belhaven reach the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time in its third season in the league. The Blazers finished eighth in the  conference that had the top seed in the NAIA National Tournament. During Lincoln's two years with the Blazers, she handled recruiting in the south region as well as in the state of Mississippi. Although a graduate assistant, Lincoln was the only assistant coach on staff and often ran training sessions. She was also charged with coordinating summer camps, bringing in more than 400 campers during the course of the summer as well as 10 teams.

Prior to joining the staff at Belhaven, Lincoln was the head girls' soccer coach at Terry High School in Terry, Miss., for two years. At Terry, Lincoln guided the squad to the state Final Four for the first time in school history and garnered a ranking as high as No. 6, finishing the year at No. 12.

She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Mississippi College. Lincoln has a Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Belhaven University.

Brooke Wendl

Lubbock Christian

Division 2

Brooke is in her second season as an assistant coach for the Lubbock Christian University women's soccer team under head coach, Alex Denning.

She graduated from Lubbock Christian in 2016, where she played from 2012-2016. Brooke claimed Freshman of the Year, All-Conference honors, All-Region Team, All-Region Academic Team, and Heartland Conference Offensive Player of the Year for the 2014 season. Brooke also holds all offensive records at LCU. 

Since graduating Brooke has been teaching and coaching junior high and high school soccer in the Dallas area.
