Robbie Montanaro joined the Huskies coaching staff in August of 2024. 

Montanaro spent this past year as the first assistant at Adrian College. Montanaro was previously the head coach at Boston University Academy where he led the Terriers to an 11-1 record and a league title in 2023. 

Before his time at Boston University Academy, he was a private goalkeeper coach for high school, college, and professional goalkeepers around the country. 

Montanaro graduated from Bates College where he started 47 games in net and made over 200 saves for the Bobcats. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Sociology. Montanaro played abroad in Scotland, Puerto Rico, Sweden, and the Czech Republic. While playing pro, he got his masters degree from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Brian Plotkin

Following a decorated two-year championship sweep alongside Chad Riley at Dartmouth College, Brian Plotkin officially joined the Notre Dame mens soccer program in February of 2018 as an assistant coach.

Plotkin joined Rileys staff at Notre Dame after spending the previous two seasons as a Dartmouth assistant coach. He was on the Big Green staff for each of the past two Ivy League championships during Dartmouths conference four-peat, which included a 12-3-1 mark and the 15th overall seed in the 2017 NCAA Division I Mens Soccer Championship.

In two seasons under Plotkins guidance, Dartmouths Wyatt Omsberg earned a pair of United Soccer Coaches All-America citations and doubled as the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year. More than 13 players, including Omsberg, received All-Ivy recognition during that span, and the Big Green earned a 2016 NSCAA Team Academic Award in honor of strong performance in the classroom.

Prior to his time at Dartmouth, Plotkin was an assistant coach at Loyola University (Chicago) for three seasons from 2013-15. The Ramblers swept Missouri Valley Conference Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year awards during the 2015 campaign, while leading the NCAA in both team goals against average and the fewest goals allowed that season. A total of 12 players recruited under Plotkins watch ultimately achieved all-conference plaudits, and the Loyola staff received Missouri Valley Conference Coaching Staff of the Year honors in 2014.

Tyler Smith

Division 1

Tyler Smith begins his first year as an Assistant Coach for the Wisconsin men's soccer team.

He arrived in Madison after spending a season with North Central College as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach. He helped coach North Central College to a CCIW championship title and a NCAA DIII tournament appearance in 2024. Smith orchestrated a defense that posted a 0.79 goals against average (GAA) in over 20 matches and contributed to three first-time all-region selections, including an all-region freshman goalkeeper. He also head-coached the Reserves to an undefeated season (7-0-1) against CCIW, NAIA, and JUCO competition.

Prior to his time with North Central College, Smith served as an Illinois ODP goalkeeper coach. In this role he coached a group of elite 14-18 year-old goalkeepers, four US ODP National players, and numerous all-region selections.

Smith has four years of collegiate experience under his belt, playing for Earlham College from 2020-2023. During this time he set single-season and all-time records for games played, starts, minutes, saves, and save percentage. Smith also represented Earlham College and Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) as an NCAA DIII SAAC Representative, serving three terms as SAAC President. 

While playing at Earlham, Smith earned a Bachelors Degree in English and Media & Communications with a Minor in Sports Management. Smith has also completed his USSF D coaching license and has earned United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Coaching Diplomas.

Ryan Sandell

Ryan Sandell is in his first year on the men's soccer staff at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Penn, Ryan was the first assistant at Muhlenberg College in 2020, and was the goalkeeper coach at Drexel University in 2018. In 2019, Ryan played overseas in Sweden, and Northern Ireland. As a college player at Elizabethtown College, Ryan was a First Team All-Conference Selection, and NSCAA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team selection, as well as helping Etown to a third conference final in four years,  and an NCAA tournament appearance and first round win.

Revolutionaries hire UDC assistant with distinguished resume

WASHINGTON - The George Washington University men's soccer team has identified Iain Langstone as the newest member of the coaching staff, joining head coach Craig Jones and assistants Ben Mortimer and John Szaro in preparation for the 2024 season. Langstone comes to GW after three seasons as a full-time assistant at UDC and with over 15 years of combined club and college coaching experience. 

"Firstly, I want to thank Head Coach Craig Jones and Athletic Director Tanya Vogel for this opportunity," said Langstone. "I am extremely excited and privileged to be joining the GW coaching staff, and can't wait to get to work."

During Langstone's time at UDC, his role involved working on all aspects of the program, including match analysis, scouting, preparing and running field sessions, and both local and international recruiting. Langstone was a part of multiple successful seasons at UDC. Notably, he was on staff when UDC went on an 11-game unbeaten streak in 2021, and when UDC reached the East Coast Conference (ECC) Championship Final for only the second time in program history.

Langstone played a role in developing multiple highly-achieving student-athletes at UDC, which includes the 2021 ECC Offensive Player of the Year (Vitor Gomez), the 2023 ECC Rookie of the Year (Isaiah Daniel) and an assembly of student-athletes recognized with All-Conference and All-Region accolades.  

"We are excited to get Iain working with our group immediately when they return from break," said Jones. "His experience and player care are a strength that continued to impress me in our conversations."

Langstone brings a wealth of experience from his 15+ years of combined club and college coaching experience, having held numerous positions at each level. Age Group Director, Juniors Academy Director, Pro 23s Head Coach and Maryland State Olympic Development Program (ODP) Assistant Coach are all recent titles held by Langstone, and he also currently serves as the U16 (2008) MLS Next Head Coach and Age Group Lead at Alexandria Soccer Association.

"I know I am joining a program that is in a good place and I am looking forward to assisting in developing the current group while recruiting future student-athletes with a champion mentality, on and off the field," said Langstone.

Langstone played collegiate soccer at D-II Slippery Rock from 2005-09, where he led The Rock to two Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, three NCAA tournaments and two NCAA Sweet 16 appearances. His career stats include being ranked T-3rd all-time in program game winning goals (six) and T-8th all-time for program games played (77).

Langstone is currently pursuing a US Soccer A youth license, and already holds a US Soccer B license, a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper L1 diploma, a United Soccer Coaches Performance Analysis diploma, and is certified as an injury prevention specialist.

"From the start in a very competitive pool of candidates, Iain demonstrated the professionalism and character traits that I believe will improve and continue to grow our program. His enthusiasm for the role will be a great addition for our students' development and will help them individually, and as a team achieve the goals we hope to achieve moving forward," Jones concluded.

Brandon Tucker

Former Colorado Rapids forward Brandon Tucker joined the Furman staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2017 season.

Brandon Tucker will be a great addition to our staff, said Paladin head coach Doug Allison. He has played for and coached with Coach Boulware and was a tremendous player with the Region IV team, Presbyterian and as a professional. His experience as a college coach and as a player at the professional level will make him a great fit for Furman.

Tucker, a native of Englewood, Colo., played his college soccer for Paladin assistant coach Bret Boulware at Presbyterian College before serving as assistant coach from 2009-11 and as associate head coach for the Blue Hose from 2012-13. He earned All-South Atlantic Conference honors and NSCAA All-Region accolades three times during his playing career. As a coach, he helped Presbyterian transition into NCAA Division I soccer.

This past season, Tucker helped lead the Paladins to an 11-7-1 overall record and the program's league record 20th Southern Conference regular season title with a 5-1-0 mark. Furman placed seven players on All-Southern Conference teams, including in the inclusion of Rocky Guerra, Cole McLagan and Jack Shiels on the first team.

In second season since returning to the Paladin program, Furman posted a 13-7-2 record, claimed its 14th Southern Conference Tournament crown and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament after edging UNCW in an opening-round penalty shootout. Laurence Wyke, the SoCon Tournament's Most outstanding Player, joined league goalkeeper of the year Ben Hale in earning first team All-SoCon honors.

In his first season at Furman, Tucker helped the Paladins to a 12-5-3 overall record and a 5-2-3 Southern Conference mark. The Paladins made a return to the national rankings on the strength of a six-match winning streak that included a triumph over then No. 4-ranked Denver. Junior Laurence Wyke garnered SoCon Player of the Year honors and United Soccer Coaches All-South Region accolades.

A 2010 inductee into the Colorado Soccer Hall of Fame, Tucker played for the Colorado Rapids in 2008 and 2009. He also played professionally for the Denver Dragons of the Premier Arena Soccer League.

I am truly thankful to Doug Allison for the opportunity to join the Furman Mens Soccer staff, said Tucker. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Coach Allison and the very successful program he has built. Making the decision to get back into coaching after being away for four years was something that took a lot of reflection, but after meeting the team and knowing the history behind the program with the ability for me to learn from one of the best in college soccer made my decision that much easier. Along with building new relationships with alumni and the Furman community, I am looking forward to working with my longtime coach, friend and mentor Bret Boulware. My family and I are eager to join the Furman University family and I am excited for the future of Furman Mens Soccer.

Since 2002, Tucker has served as a head coach and administrator with COEVER, Colorados premier soccer training academy.

Tucker graduated from Presbyterian College in 2007 with a degree in business administration and a concentration in management. He and his wife Anastashia are the parents of three children, Skie, Harper, and Sawyer.

Drew Munoz

Munoz joined Chad Duernbergers staff in Spring 2023 following a year at Trinity after prior stints at Dartmouth College. Prior to Dartmouth, Munoz was an assistant and goalkeeper coach at Bridgton Academy in Maine. At Dartmouth, Munoz created and managed set pieces plays and defensive restart assignments, organized road trip logistics, and managed the team's social media accounts. He served as the recruiting coordinator for Trinity Head Men's Soccer Coach Methembe Ndlovu.

Munoz graduated from Bates College in 2019 where earned a bachelor's degree in rhetoric. He was a four-year letterwinner on the pitch for the Bobcats, started 26 games and earned team rookie of the year and NESCAC All-Sportsmanship awards. As a senior captain, Munoz helped Bates earn its first NESCAC Tournament appearance in eight seasons. He also served as the team's community liaison and as vice president and treasurer for the Bates College Special Olympics Club. Munoz holds his United States Soccer Federation D License and Grassroots License. 

Angelo Capuano

Prior to joining the DU staff, Capuano spent the last five years with Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) in Chicago. Most recently he served as a Mens Soccer Head Recruiting Coach, where he was tasked with educating and guiding mens soccer players and their families through the collegiate recruiting process. Utilizing his pipeline of coach connections, knowledge of the game, and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations he successfully placed roughly 700 student-athletes at Colleges and Universities throughout the United States. Capuano also served as NCSAs Mens Soccer Team Lead where he assisted in the training of new hires and helped implement best practices and procedures across the mens soccer department. Along with his day to day responsibilities he also worked closely with Product Developers to improve the coach-facing side of their tech platform, Events to market the NCSA brand across the club and collegiate soccer landscape in the US, and Marketing / Operations to deliver key messaging to target audiences through online webinars and in-person speaking engagements.
 
Angelo earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing degree from Wright State University in Dayton, OH. He was a four-year player for them appearing in 41 matches over his career. He was awarded with Wright States Greg Andrulis Award in 2012 as a Junior for exemplifying team leadership and dedication to the program. Also during his collegiate career he competed with AFC Cleveland at a semi-professional NPSL level.
 
As a prep player at Massillon Perry High School in Ohio, Capuano was a four year Varsity letter-winner and 3 year captain. He was voted All-Ohio in 2009 as a Senior and graduated as a 2x First Team All-Region, County, and Conference award winner. He remains the only player in Massillon Perrys history to sign a Division 1 national letter of intent to play soccer in college. Club-wise he played one season for the Cleveland Internationals USSDA u18 squad, and prior to that was a State Cup Champion with Ohio Select Futbol Club based out of Cleveland, OH.

Brian Wright

Brian Wright enters his eleventh year as Occidental College's men's soccer head assistant coach in the 2026-27 season.

Prior to joining the Occidental staff, Wright was an assistant coach for Caltech's men's soccer team for two seasons from 2014-2016.

A former Olympic Development Program (ODP) standout in southern California, Wright has been playing soccer since the age of five. He quickly knew soccer was his passion. His passion, combined with discipline and dedication, became the motivation to earn him a division 1 soccer scholarship to San Jose State University. Wright has played in several youth tournaments throughout Europe and has received world-renowned training from some of the best coaches at the professional level. This influence helped shape his personal philosophy and style of coaching. At the age of 17, he was offered a professional contract with Belgian side Club Brugge. Wright received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Cal State University, Northridge in 2007.

After capping off his collegiate career, Wright went on to train with the Los Angeles Galaxy as a reserve, followed by a stint in USL League One. In 2016, he completed his master's in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in Irvine. He currently holds a U.S. Soccer Federation A-Senior Coaching License.

Teddy Kolesnikov

Teddy Kolesnikov was added as the men's soccer assistant coach for the Colonels in April of 2025.  
   
Kolesnikov came to Centre following a successful stint as an assistant coach at DePauw University. In Indiana he was part of the coaching staff for a team that won the 2024 North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Championship and made an appearance in the 2024 NCAA DIII Mens Soccer Tournament.  
  
At DePauw he was responsible for developing and implementing training sessions focused on technical and tactical improvement as well as managing scouting reports and analysis to prepare for conference matches. He holds a USSF D License. 
   
Prior to his time with the Tigers, he was the head junior varsity coach and an assistant varsity coach at Anderson High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was also a club coach for Alliance Cincinnati SC for the organization's U12 and U13 Boys teams. 
   
Kolesnikov competed at the college level in soccer at Lake Forest College. He was team captain his senior year (2022) and led the team to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in five seasons. He also earned Second-Team All-Midwest Conference & CSC Academic All-District honors. Kolesnikov also played at the pre-professional level for two USL2 teams and two OVPL squads.

Mendoza played for the Eagles from 2014-2017 and earned his bachelors degree in exercise sports science (ESS). As a player, he was named 2016 PacWest Newcomer of the Year and was voted Second Team All-PacWest that same season.
 
As a Graduate assistant Mendoza has just finished his Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration (MCAA). Mendoza serves as the Technical coach for both the Mens and Womens Soccer Teams at CUI.

Cameron Bushéy became the men's soccer assistant coach at California State University, Stanislaus in 2020. Bushéy was previously the assistant mens soccer coach at Gonzaga University from 2018-2020. Prior to that, he was the head coach of the mens first team and a Director of Coaching from 2015-2018 at the Spokane Shadow Soccer Club as well as the assistant mens soccer coach at Spokane Falls Community College where he was able to give back to the soccer community that he grew up in.

Just took over at Missouri S&T this August 8 2018.  Before here I was at Cal State Monterey Bay where I guided the program twice to National Rankings and 4 times to Regional Rankings.  Prior to Cal State Monterey  Bay I was the Associate Head Coach at Midwestern State University where I was named Regional Coaching Staff of the year in 2007, 2008 and 2010.  I helped the program to reach two NCAA Final Fours and assisted the program to their first number 1 National Ranking.  Three times we finished Ranked in the top 5 in the Nation.  I coached at NAIA Bethel University in Tennessee and guided the program both years to the NAIA National Tournament as well as brought the programs first ever Conference Tournament Title.  In 2006 I was named Regional Coach of the Year and finalists for National Coach of the Year.  I have coached several Academic All-Americans as well as many All-Americans.  I have guided several players that have play professionally domestically and Internationally.

Before that I played 2 years at EOSC which is a Jr college, then I transferred to OC where I played for another 2 years. On my senior season I won 4 awards (Offensive Player of the week 5; All Conference Team; All Region Team and All Coaches list team) and I was the captain of team.

Jordan Finneran

Jordan Finneran currently serves as an Assistant Mens Soccer Coach at Georgetown College, an NAIA program with a proud tradition of athletic and academic excellence. Joining the staff in 2025, Finneran brings a diverse coaching and playing background that spans multiple levels of the gamefrom English semi-professional football to NCAA Division III and elite youth development in the U.S.

At Georgetown, Finneran plays a key role in training session design, tactical preparation, recruitment, and match-day operations. His coaching philosophy emphasizes technical quality, tactical discipline, and holistic player development both on and off the field.

Before joining Georgetown, Finneran was part of the historic Spalding University mens soccer staff that captured the programs first-ever SLIAC Championship and secured a berth in the 2024 NCAA Division III National Tournament. His responsibilities included tactical analysis, set-piece planning, matchday management, and detailed scouting reports for opposition teams.

Finneran also served as Assistant Coach at Hanover College, where he led recruiting initiatives, conducted on-field coaching, and helped the team secure commitments from multiple prospects in just two months. At both institutions, he made an immediate impact with his work ethic, attention to detail, and passion for mentorship.

In addition to his collegiate coaching roles, Finneran has been heavily involved in youth development, most recently coaching at Mockingbird Valley Premier Soccer Club. His 2009 boys squad won the 2025 Presidents Cup, represented Kentucky at regionals, and secured the Louisville Cup title with a dominant 6-1 record in the KPL Premier Division. This year his 2014 Boys also won the top division of State Cup. In addition to this role, Finneran helps lead the MVP u23 OVPL team that currently sit atop the table with a 6-0 record.

Coach Milder joined the Doane University coaching staff in the spring of 2019. He brings a great wealth of knowledge to the program with more than 30 years of coaching experience, both at the club level and high school level.

Most recently, he served as the head coach at Lincoln Pius X High School where his teams won two state championships and finished with two runner-up finishes. He has served as a club coach in both Omaha and Lincoln as well as serving as a coach for the Nebraska Olympic Development program.

Milder is a nationally licensed coach by the USSF and NSCAA. He has also served as an instructor for the Nebraska State Soccer Association.

Gerard Miniaci

Gerard Miniaci is returning to VMI for the 2020 season after completing two seasons as a member of the NCAA Division III New England College mens soccer coaching staff in Henniker, N.H. His second season at NEC, Miniaci was hired as the Interim Head Coach of the mens soccer program, leading the Pilgrims to a second-place finish in the NECC. During his time at NEC, Miniaci also earned a masters degree in Sports and Recreational Management. Prior to NEC, he was the assistant coach with the mens program at VMI. Before coaching at VMI, Miniaci was the head varsity coach at Broadway High School for three seasons.
 
As an undergraduate, Miniaci attended Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, VA where he played three seasons with the mens soccer team. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science.

Brian Jaworski

Coach Jaworski  has served as coach of the Pioneer men's soccer team since 2004. The 2009 Pioneer squad won the Midwest Conference Tournament title and earned the schools first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance as Jaworski was voted MWC Coach of the Year. Jaworski has helped build the Pioneer program into a consistent winner. After his first two teams went 10-19-2 overall and 5-13 in Midwest Conference play, Grinnell has posted a combined overall mark of 67-61-12 and league record of 45-22-7 in the past eight seasons. The Pioneers have posted winning records six of the last eight years and qualified for the MWC Tournament six times in that span. Under his guidance, Grinnell also boasted its first-ever MWC Player of the Year in 2010, Mark Rosenberg. Overall, Jaworski has developed six All-Region selections while at Grinnell and 10 Academic All-Region selections. Jaworskis 2014 team was one for the history books. Grinnell emerged as the NCAA Division III national leader in three categories. Isaiah Tyree led the nation in goals against average at 0.218 and save percentage at .959, while the Pioneers were also tops in team save percentage with a mark of .916.   Grinnell also tied or set five MWC records in 2014, including Tyree in goals against average and save percentage. The Pioneers established new league marks in goals allowed with eight and team goals against average at 0.44, with the latter mark ranking fourth nationally. Grinnell tied the MWC record for shutouts in a season with 11. Jaworski arrived at Grinnell in August of 2004, following a long and successful career as an assistant coach at DePauw University that spanned from 1991-2003. During his tenure as an assistant coach, the Tigers went 167-58-12 (.704) and made four NCAA Tournament appearances. In May 2003, Jaworski was named Aflac National Assistant Coach of the Year in recognition of his hard-work and dedication to the DePauw University men's soccer program. The award is based on a coach's longevity and expertise, as well as contributions to the school and community, and special achievements throughout their careers. In addition to his work with the men's soccer program at DePauw, he also was an assistant coach for the DePauw women's soccer team that advanced to the NCAA Final Four in 2003. Jaworski was a standout soccer player for the DePauw men's team from 1984-1988, and he became the first player in the school's history to earn all-America honors in men's soccer, earning the distinction in 1988. He currently ranks seventh all-time in career goals scored with 31, and is eighth all-time in career points with 75. Jaworski, a 1989 graduate of DePauw, was inducted into the DePauw Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. As a head coach, Jaworski has coached two separate club teams to Indiana state championships. In 2002, his under-17 Dynamo FC Indianapolis club team claimed the state championship, and in 2000 his under-18 Dynamo FC Indianapolis squad won the team title. In 2004, Jaworski guided his Carmel United under-18 club to the final four of the Indiana state championship, where his team lost to the eventual state champion. He and his wife Leslie (a staff member of the Colleges psychology department), with the assistance of College coaches Tim Hollibaugh and Andy Hamilton, began the Grinnell Sports Camp in 2005. The camp allows participants to learn fundamentals and participate in drills in a variety of sports while also learning the values of sportsmanship and enjoyment of several activities. Jaworski resides in Grinnell with his wife and they have three children: Ann Marie (25) is a former three-year captain of the Boston University Women's Soccer Team, a former member of the U-19 US Women's National team, and now Head Soccer Coach at Simmons University in downtown Boston.  John (23) attends Sacred Heart University and play Division I hockey.  Calvin (19) is a second-year football player (free safety) at the University of Northern Iowa.

Keith Buderus enters his first season at William Jewell College as the head of the men's soccer program in the fall of 2026. 

Spent four years as the Associate Head Men's Soccer Coach where he saw the Mountain Lions take three consecutive trips to the NCAA DII Tournament, including a third round appearance in 2025.
Collected a 55-28-19 record as the Associate Head Coach, while winning the 2025 Rocky Mountain Athetic Conference (RMAC) regular season and postseason tournament championships
Mentored 25 athletes to All-RMAC honors, four RMAC major award winners including the 2024 Player of the Year, 13 All-Region honorees, and a pair of D2CCA All-Americans
Was the head coach at Northeastern Junior College for four years, getting the Plainsmen ranked as high as No. 12 in the NJCAA while producing 24 Academic All-Americans.
In his time at NJC Buderus had a 45-22-6 record that included a 14-4-2 record in the month of October and a .750 home winning percentage

Kyle Clark

Kyle Clark joined Ursinus as an assistant coach prior to the 2019 season.

Clark spent the prior year as an assistant at Penn State-Abington, which won the NEAC championship and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He was responsible for film breakdown and review as well as assisting with daily preparations for training and matches. Abington produced seven all-conference players in the 2018 campaign, including the NEAC player of the year.

Clark also served as coach of the U12 Boys D and U10 Girls B teams of Lower Merion Soccer Club, developing and conducting training sessions and handling all operations.

Before his time at Penn State-Abington, Clark spent a year as an assistant for Homer Soccer Club in New York and completed a pair of stints as an assistant for his alma mater, Tompkins Cortland Community College. In 2013, the squad posted an undefeated regular season, won the MSAC title, and produced a pair of NSCAA All-Americans. Clark was a starter and NJCAA Region III All-Tournament Team selection for the 2012 group that also won the MSAC.

Roosevelt Peters

Maryville University men's soccer hired Roosevelt Peters as the program's new assistant coach for the 2024 season. He comes to Maryville University after spending the last three seasons as an assistant men's soccer coach at Oklahoma Wesleyan University of the NAIA.
 
Peters is originally from Abuja, Nigeria, where he represented the National team at the U13 and U15 levels in international competitions. He also attended the Pre-Olympic Camp for Nigeria.
 
He is coming off a 2023 campaign where he assisted OKWU in winning both the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Regular Season and Tournament Championships. The program posted an overall record of 17-2-5 and appeared in the NAIA National Tournament semifinals. Additionally, he and the entire staff were awarded the NAIA Men's Central Staff of the Year.
 
In three seasons with the Eagles, Peters helped them to three conference regular season championships, three conference tournament championships, and three NAIA National Tournament appearances while being ranked in the NAIA's Top 25 in all three campaigns.
 
Before his time at Oklahoma Wesleyan, Peters was named the youngest head coach in NAIA history at Bacone College in Muskogee, Okla. He spent two seasons as the men's and women's head coach and led a rebuilding process for a program that had only one player on the men's team and four on the women's squad. Within a year, the men at Bacone had 26 players and the women grew to 16 players. Both programs achieved their first wins in over two years after hiring Peters.
 
He sharpened his coaching by participating in the UPSL Division 2 with Side FC 92 in the summer of 2020, while also serving as head coach for Muskogee Soccer Club U19 (currently the WSA South 02 boys). Peters helped guide the team to a runner-up in the second division of the Oklahoma Premier Championship.
 
Peters also coached the 2010 boys at Northeast Oklahoma Futball Club (NEOFC) Owasso in 2021. He went on to win the Red River, National Premier League (NPL) U13 Division 2 Championship in the 2022-23 season. Peters was later promoted to Program Director. He also served as an adjunct coach at various high schools in Oklahoma, including Bartlesville Girls, Oologah Boys, Oologah Girls, and Edison Preparatory Girls.
 
Peters earned his MBA in Organizational Leadership in 2023 from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and a bachelor of science in Business Administration from Bacone College in 2019. He also holds a USSF C National Coaching License and will be pursuing his B shortly.
 
Peters is the son of James Peters, a renowned FIFA and CAF Coaching Accessor and Instructor who has coached at the highest level with the Nigerian National teams.
