Brandi Vega joined the Oklahoma soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant starting in the 2015 season and completed her first year as an assistant coach in 2016.
In 2016, Vega aided the Sooners to arguably the best season in program history, which featured a school-record 14 wins and the program's first-ever victory in the NCAA Championship. The Sooners accumulated multiple awards on the season, including a program-record six All-Big 12 accolades.
Vega enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Washington State from 2009-12, playing under now-OU head coach Matt Potter for three of those seasons. She finished in the top 10 of a variety of career statistical categories for the Cougars, including games played (tied for third with 80), game-winning goals (third with eight), points (sixth with 55), career goals (sixth with 21) and assists (eighth with 13).
Some of Vegas awards include NSCAA All-Pacific Region team (second team in 2011, third team in 2012), All-Pac-12 honors (first team in 2011, second team in 2012), Inland Northwest Soccer News 2012 Womens Second Best XI and 2010 Pac-10 honorable mention.
Vega played professionally for the Vancouver Whitecaps, Bay Area Breeze and most recently with the Premier Leagues Oviedo Moderno in Spain.
A Carson City, Nev., native, Vega was a four-time First Team All-Sierra League selection at Carson High School. She led the team in assists all four years and was the leader in goals for her junior and senior seasons. Vega holds the Nevada 4A state record for assists and goals and was named the 4A Sierra League Player of the Year four times.
Returning to the Oklahoma State coaching staff for his second year as a volunteer assistant in 2018 is Michael OHare.
In his first season with the program, OHare was part of a Cowgirl staff that was honored as the United Soccer Coaches South Region Staff of the Year after the helping OSU claim a Big 12 regular season championship and post 16 wins.
A native of Oklahoma City, OHare graduated from Oklahoma State with a psychology degree in May 2015.
OHare has several years of coaching experience at the club and high school levels in his home state. He has helped coach multiple teams in the Stillwater Soccer Club since 2012, and he joined the Oklahoma Olympic Development Program Staff in 2016 as a Region III state team coach.
Also a six-year member of the coaching staff at Stillwater High School, OHare helped lead the Pioneers to four state tournament appearances, including a Class 6A state runner-up finish in 2017. He served as an Oklahoma High School All-State coach in 2011 and 2016.
OHare holds National "B", C, D and E licenses from the United States Soccer Federation and also Goalkeeping Level I-III licenses from the National Coaches Association of America.
A graduate of Bishop McGuinness Catholic High School, OHare played on three district championship teams and a state title winner as a prep and was named an all-state goalkeeper in 2010. He was also a part of the OFC 92 program.
Richard Beebe, who joined the program prior to the 2014 season, has made an instrumental impact in the Rebels success.
Beebe helped the program to its best season yet in 2015, as the Rebels advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time in school history.
A good portion of the programs recent consistency can be credited to Beebe, who wears many hats in the volunteer assistant role.
He cuts up all game film for the Rebels, helps scout opponents prior to matches, and assists in numerous roles in practice. Head coach Matt Mott, who was alerted of Beebes work ethic through a mutual friend, called him an unsung, absolute godsend to our program, reiterating Beebes importance to Ole Miss soccer.
Beebe joined the Rebels after serving as an assistant coach at his alma mater, William Carey, where he was also a standout soccer player himself.
As an assistant at William Carey, Beebe helped lead the womens team to the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) championship in 2013 with a perfect 11-0 record in conference play and outscoring foes 53-to-6 on the season. It was the first SSAC title for William Carey.
He helped the team advance to the Sweet 16 of the NAIA tournament while posting an 18-5 record on the season and a final ranking of 10th in the national polls. Beebe worked with the defenders at William Carey and helped coach Lauren Satcher to third team NAIA All-America honors and second team All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
During the 2011 and 2012 seasons, Beebe served as the head coach of both the boys and girls soccer teams at Greene County High School, leading the girls team to the South State finals in both seasons.
He also coached the Hattiesburg Futbol Club for four seasons and served as the Assistant DOC for the last season under Danny Owens.
Beebe lettered four years at William Carey, serving as a starter all four years of his career. He served as team captain in 2009 and was named a Gulf Coast Athletic Conference first team selection that season. Beebe helped lead his team to the GCAC Championship in 2008 and 2009, while also helping the squad claim the GCAC Tournament Championship in 2007.
He earned a bachelors degree in education with a minor in biology from William Carey in 2010 and a masters degree in secondary education in 2012.
Allison Whitworth joined the Bulldog soccer program on March 4, 2019, after serving as head womens soccer coach at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, since 2016. She moved into the senior woman administrator role in December 2017.
The Birmingham, Alabama, native had an impressive athletic and academic career at Auburn University before becoming the first Tiger drafted into a professional league.
Whitworth set the Tigers career record with 356 saves, which still ranks second in school history. Her 132 saves in her senior season led the SEC and still stands as Auburns single-season record. She collected 22 career shutouts, which is second in school history, including eight in each of her final two seasons on the way to All-SEC selections as a junior (Second Team) and senior (First Team).
For her career, she won six SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors and saw the field in 73 matches with a 1.13 career goals against average. She was Auburns womens sports nominee for the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship presented to the leagues top scholar-athlete. She graduated summa cum laude in 2007 with a degree in psychology and minor in exercise science before completing her masters degree in health promotion.
Prior to her time at Spring Hill, Whitworth served as the lead assistant and goalkeeper coach at Ohio and was the Bobcats recruiting coordinator. In her three years at Ohio, Whitworths keepers recorded 322 saves and 10 shutouts. In 2014, she served on staff with the Region II Olympic Development Program.
Whitworths recruiting led to the signing of MAC All-Freshman Team selection Steph Rowland who led the team in five offensive categories in her freshman season while setting the Bobcats freshman record with five goals. She also drew Vanessa Cordoba to Athens. Cordoba won a gold medal at the Bolivarian Games in 2015 as the goalkeeper for the Colombian U-20 National Team.
She began her coaching career at Middle Tennessee where she was an assistant for two seasons. The Blue Raiders went 24-14-1 in that span while recording 14 shutouts and claiming a share of the 2012 Sun Belt Conference regular-season championship. The 2012 squad finished with the second-best record in program history. At Middle Tennessee, Whitworth recruited goalkeeper Kelsey Brouwer who finished her career holding school records for wins and shutouts. Brouwer was second in school history in career saves and won the C-USA Spirit of Service Award in 2013.
Whitworths professional career included three seasons in the Womens Professional Soccer League. She was drafted in 2009 by FC Gold Pride as the 54th overall pick before playing with both the Atlanta Beat and Chicago Red Stars.
Former Professional Soccer Player with a demonstrated history of working in the sports industry. Skilled in Soccer, Sports Management, Coaching, and Athletics. Strong media and communication professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) focused in Kinesiology and Fitness Studies from Penn State University.
Freeman just finished his thirteenth season overall with the Fighting Illini and sixth as the soccer programs Associate Head Coach in 2023. In 2019 Freeman was also named the program's recruiting coordinator. Illinois has reached at least the second round of the NCAA Tournament in three of the years he has been on staff, highlighted by a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2013. Freeman helped to coach standout Vanessa DiBernardo earn a pair of All-America honors and saw Jannelle Flaws lead the country and break the school record for goals scored.
The Illini have turned in two of the top four single-season goal totals in school history during Freemans tenure in Champaign. The Orange and Blue netted 54 goals in 2013 and 53 goals in 2011, which rank third and fourth, respectively, on the all-time list. UI boasts an overall record of 71-23-9 over the past six seasons with four NCAA Tournament appearances, a Big Ten Tournament title in 2011 and a Big Ten Tournament runner-up finish in 2012.
In 2014, Illinois finished with a 10-8-2 record on the season. With Freemans assistance, Illini redshirt senior Jannelle Flaws was named Disney Soccer/NSCAA National Player of the Week, the first Illini to ever earn the recognition. Flaws continued on to be named the unanimous Big Ten Forward of the year for the second-straight season. She led the Big Ten and tied for 12th in the NCAA with 17 goals, also being tabbed a third-team NSCAA All-American.
In 2013, Freeman helped guide the Illini to their fourth trip to the NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen in school history, as they finished 11-9-3 overall. He coached Big Ten Forward of the Year Jannelle Flaws to a school-record 23 goals, which was tied for the most in the NCAA. Vanessa DiBernardo, who became Illinois highest drafted player in school history following the season, completed her decorated career No. 3 on the all-time list with 43 goals, with Freeman coaching her during three of four seasons.
In 2012, Freeman served as the interim head coach for the non-conference portion of the schedule while Rayfield was coaching with U.S. Soccers U-20 National Team at the World Cup. Freeman helped coach the Illini to the NCAA Tournament where they advanced to the second round after knocking off neighbor-state rival Missouri. Freeman also helped guide the Illini to their fifth Big Ten Tournament title game. In addition, Freeman took the reigns of the Illini program for the first seven games of the season against one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the country. Illinois finished 10-9-4 on the year.
In 2011, Freeman was integral in the process of implementing the formation changes that led the Orange and Blue to a 17-5-2 overall record, the most wins in a single season in school history and a Big Ten Tournament title victory over No. 11 Penn State. Freeman worked with both the offensive and defensive units throughout the season, also serving as a key contributor to the Illinois recruiting efforts while performing additional administrative and travel-related duties.
Freeman brought a wealth of experience and tactical expertise to Champaign, Illinois, after serving as a member of the University of Miami (Fla.) womens soccer staff from 2004-10, including the final three years as the associate head coach. He played a prominent role in Miami earning conference and national recognition with top-25 rankings and back-to-back appearances in the 2007-08 NCAA Tournaments.
Freeman joined the Hurricanes staff after serving as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Missouri State, for four years. The Bears goalkeeping units earned Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Defensive Player of the Year and conference tournament MVP honors in addition to weekly MVC defensive accolades under Freemans tutelage, while Missouri State won the MVC crown and earned its first NCAA Tournament appearance with Freemans guidance.
As a student-athlete at Missouri State, Freeman earned academic all-conference recognition as a goalkeeper with the Bears and was a member of the 1997 squad that made the programs first NCAA Tournament appearance after earning a top-10 national ranking and the MVC regular season title.
Freeman, who earned a bachelors and masters in education from Missouri State, is accredited as a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) `A Licensed Coach and holds a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. He has served as a clinician at the USC (NSCAA) Conventions from 2014-2019.
Miles Maynard joined the Clemson University Womens Soccer coaching staff prior to the 2018 season and is entering his second season as Volunteer Assistant Coach in 2019. Since joining the staff, the tigers have had a 23-16-2 record. In 2018, the Tigers reached the semi-finals of the ACC conference tournament and a trip to the NCAA tournament. In 2019, the Tigers made it to the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament and to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
He also has coaching experience, working as Head Coach of C.C. Griffin Middle School girls soccer in 2014.
Maynard played goalkeeper at Pfeiffer University during the 2013 season. There the team reached the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Conference Tournament. He then transferred to the University of South Carolina-Aiken for the 2014 & 2015 season. In 2014, the Pacers were runners up in the Peach Belt Conference Championship. The Pacers made the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in program history and finished with the best record in program history 14-6-1. In 2015, the Pacers made it to the Quarterfinals of the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
The Suwanee, Georgia native played club soccer at United Futbol Academy and attended Lambert High School. In 2012, the boys soccer team at Lambert won the GHSA 4A State Championship going 23-0-0. The 2012 team was also named NSCAA (USC) National Champions. Maynard won the Most Improved Player Award in 2013.
Maynard graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is completing a Master of Science degree in Athletic Leadership from Clemson University graduating in August of 2020.
Maynard holds a United States Soccer Federation D License and a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma.
John Roman is in his sixth year as Florida's goalkeeper coach and will coach the Gators quad of goalkeepers.
Before joining the Gators in January of 2016, Roman enrolled in the University of Florida's graduate school to study performance psychology. He received his Masters degree in 2017, and is graduating in 2021 with a doctorate through the University of Florida's Performance Psychology Laboratory.
Roman coached the goalkeepers at Fairfax High School in Northern Virginia before relocating to Florida. During that time, he also worked as a research analyst specializing in big data and analytics in the Washington, D.C. area.
In addition to his studies and coaching responsibilities, Roman is Vice President of Research and Analytics for Mission6Zero, a company founded by United States Special Forces soldiers that improves business executive and professional athlete performance during stress.
John Roman is also a proud Elon Phoenix, avid TK Little, and connoisseur of chocolate cake.
Riley Butler joined the University of Pittsburgh women's soccer staff in July 2018 after spending the previous four seasons as the assistant men's soccer coach at Radford University.
I would like to thank Randy Waldrum for the opportunity to join his coaching staff and work with one of the best coaches in the game, Butler said. I am excited to be welcomed by the Pitt family and I am looking forward to working with the student athletes and competing in the ACC.
Butler helped lead the Highlanders to an overall record of 50-17-11, leading squads that were ranked in the top 25 in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The Big South Tournament champions in 2016 and regular season champions in 2014, 2015 and 2016 earned NCAA berths in both 2015 and 2016 under Butlers tutelage.
Since July 2014, Butler has also served as the Director of Youth Development and Director of Academy of the New River United Soccer Association. In addition to his club coaching experience, Butler served as the assistant boys coach at Episcopal School of Jacksonville (2012-14) and Fletcher High School (2008-12).
Following his collegiate career (2005-09) at Jacksonville University, Butler played three seasons for Jacksonville United and helped the squad to a NPSL National Championship in 2010. A Division I Scholar-Athlete at Jacksonville, he played an integral part in the Dolphins 2007 regular season Atlantic Sun Championship, 2008 A-Sun conference tournament title and second round appearance in that seasons NCAA College Cup.
A 2009 graduate of Jacksonville University, Butler earned a bachelors degree in marketing and management.
Daniel Dobson finished his fifth season as the top assistant on John Hedlunds coaching staff in 2018. He serves as the top recruiting assistant and also coaches the field players. Dobson started out as a volunteer assistant at North Texas in 2012 and moved into a full-time position in 2014.
Since Dobson joined the Mean Green, he has helped lead North Texas to nine championships (five regular-season & four conference tournament championships) and four trips to the NCAA Tournament. He also helped lead North Texas to a school record in wins with 19 (2015) and a Conference USA record for shutouts in a season with 16 shutouts (2015).
In 2018, the Mean Green were the Conference USA Regular Season and Tournament champions and boasted a conference-best nine all-conference players including junior All-American Dominique James who was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year and overall Player of the Year.
In 2017, Dobson helped lead the Mean Green to another Conference USA championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in school history. North Texas finished with a 14-4-4 record, the program's 23rd consecutive winning season and featured the conference's top defense that allowed just .8 goals per match and had one of the country's most potent offense's, scoring the eighth most goals (49) in the country.
The Mean Green had three players earn all-conference nods, including first-team selectee Dominque James.
The Mean Green improved their NCAA-best undefeated home conference unbeaten streak to 44 by positing a 4-0-1 record in home conference matches in 2017. North Texas hasn't lost a home conference match since Oct. 31 2008 and are 41-0-3 during the streak.
In 2016, Dobson helped lead the Mean Green to their third straight Conference USA regular-season conference title. The Mean Green went 9-1 in conference play, only the second time that a North Texas team has won nine league games. North Texas earned the No. 1 seed in the Conference USA Championship but ultimately lost in the semifinals.
In 2015, Dobson helped coach the Mean Green to what might go down as the best team in program history. North Texas won a school-record 19 games, en route to winning back-to-back regular season titles. The team won its first Conference USA Championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in school history. The 2015 team was ranked as high as No. 3 in the central region and received votes in the national poll throughout the season. North Texas also beat TCU, 1-0, on the road.
Dobson mentored nine all-conference players, including C-USA Co-Offensive Player of the Year Rachel Holden, Midfielder of the Year Karla Pineda and first-team all-conference goalkeeper Jackie Kerestine.
The 2014 team won its first Conference USA regular-season title behind a record of 16-5-1 and 14 shutouts. Rachel Holden, Karla Pineda and Jackie Kerestine received all-conference honors for their play in 2014. North Texas also defeated Oregon State (Pac 12) at home.
In 2013, North Texas defeated two Big 12 teams: at TCU (2-0) and at Oklahoma (5-0). North Texas finished second in C-USA and advanced to the conference finals. Dobson helped coach the 2013 C-USA Offensive Player of the Year (Rachel Holden) and 2013 C-USA Defensive Player of the Year (Kelsey Hodges). Hodges went on to sign a professional contract with the Seattle Sounders Women in 2014 and a Division I team in Sweden.
As a player, Dobson was a standout for Memphis from 2001-04. He was named team captain for his senior year and led the Tigers win a C-USA regular season and tournament championship. That year, Memphis was ranked as high as No. 10 in the nation, the highest-ever ranking for Memphis. He became the first Memphis product to sign a Major League Soccer contract, and spent time with both the Kansas City Wizards and Chivas USA.
After his playing career, Dobson has spent 12 years coaching club, academy, high school and collegiate soccer squads throughout the Metroplex. This will be his seventh season with the Mean Green program.
Dobson is a graduate of Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas. He and his wife, Casey Fields Dobson, have two sons, Luke and Casen.
Burns is in his 8th season as an Associate Head Coach for Texas A&M-Commerce, bringing with him over 25 years of coaching and teaching experience. The program is coming off a 9th consecutive winning season, finishing In the top half of the conference. During the last 8 years the team have been selected to the NCAA national tournament 4 straight years and advanced to the sweet 16 two times. The program has numerous conference titles, individual All-Americans and Scholar All-Americans throughout this time. For 2022 the Lions athletic programs will move to NCAA Division 1 and begin competition in the Southland Conference.
Burns spent the previous 17 seasons as the head coach at Austin College in Sherman, building the Kangaroo program from scratch. He compiled a 176-117-26 (.592) record while leading Austin College to three NCAA tournament berths, the 2000 American Southwest Conference championship and four-straight east division titles.
During his time in Sherman, Burns' players accounted for over 100 All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors. He helped guide the 'Roos to 14-straight winning seasons as well as success in the classroom as his teams consistently boasted a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Prior to starting the program at Austin College, Burns spent one season at Stephen's College in Columbia, Missouri, where he also started the Stars' soccer program. He holds his "A" License from the United States Soccer Federation as well as his premier license from the National Soccer Coaches of America.
Burns earned his undergraduate degree in Sports and Recreation Studies from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom. There he was an accomplished player, helping lead Staffordshire to the National Finals. Burns went on to earn his master's degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Missouri.
Burns' wife Holly is a curriculum coordinator for Sherman ISD and the couple have two children, Jade and McKinlee. He remains active on the pitch, competing in the Dallas Men's Outdoor Premier Soccer League.

Dodd, enters his second season as an assistant coach for the men's and women's soccer programs. Working primarily with the goalkeepers in 2014, he helped the Huskies' women's team allow just over a goal a game and post seven shutouts last season, as HBU won its first Southland Conference championship and earn its first automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to joining the HBU coaching staff, Dodd trained and rostered with the Houston Dynamo Reserves in 2011. After trials in the MLS and Spain, Dodd eventually signed a professional contract to play for FC Korsholm in Finland in 2013 where he was their starting goalkeeper.
Dodd was a four-year letterwinner from 2007-10. He is the program leader with 21 wins, is second with 11 shutouts, and third with 187 saves. As a sophomore Dodd tied the single season shutout record with 6 and earned 1 st team ASC All-Conference honors.
Dodd graduated from HBU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Studio Art. He has his National Personal Training certification through the NCSF and his Goalkeeper Coaching license through the NSCAA.
He grew up in Boise, Idaho, where he played for the Boise Nationals Soccer Club, winning seven state championships. Chris captained his high school team to three District and two State championships.
Steffen Gawor finished his first season as graduate assistant with the NSU soccer program.
The Lady Demons made their second postseason appearance in three seasons after not making the tournament since 2008.
NSUs 10 wins is its second double-digit victory total since 2011.
Gawor worked with a midfield group that produced 12 goals and eight assists on an offense that ranked 30th nationally with 2.10 goals per game.
He also had recruiting and facilities management duties.
The German native was a student manager with the Baylor womens soccer team from 2015-18, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in sports ministry from Baylors George W. Truett Thelogical Seminary in 2018.
The Lady Bears won the Big 12 Tournament and advanced to the NCAAs Elite 8 in 2017.
Gawor helped with organizational preparation for game days, supporting the director of operations, supporting the nutrition staff and aiding with scouting reports among other duties.
Gawor interned with organizations such as Ambassadors Football, Chicago Eagles and Bridges FC.
Hes worked soccer clinics around the world, from the United States (Ohio, Washington, Oregon Illinois and Texas), to Europe (Germany, Northern Ireland, England and Czech Republic) to Asia (India).
Preston Wiruth is an assistant coach at Oral Roberts University.
Jazmyne Lewis will be entering her second year as an assistant coach with the Grambling State University womens soccer program.
Shes a good young coach who really helps the team a lot both on and off the field to keep things running smoothly, Grambling State head coach Justin Wagar said. We're happy to have her working with our team again this year as a valuable member of our coaching staff."
Lewis, a four-year letterman at Grambling State from 2013-17, served as a team captain during her junior and senior seasons. She graduated in 2017 with a bachelors degree in Sports Management and is currently working to complete a masters of science degree in Public Administration at Grambling State.
Prior to coming to Grambling State, Lewis, a native of Atlanta, graduated from Northgate High School in 2013. While attending Northgate, Lewis competed as a varsity defender from 2009-2013. For club ball, she represented the Concord Fire, Southern Soccer Academy and West Georgia Soccer Academy during. Her Concord Fire team captured the state cup during her senior year.
Last season Head Coach Kevin Sherry had a 75.5 win % at Louisiana Tech University, reaching the C-USA Final Four. Sherry was named the Louisiana Coach of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) that season for a second time in his career, leading the Techsters to a 13-6-3 record. These firsts were a culmination of the hard work and determination which carried over from year one in C-USA, a season which produced a solid 9-10-1 record and four league victories despite having a roster of 18 freshmen. The story was mostly the same in 2012 in what was the final year in the Western Athletic Conference with LA Tech being picked last in the preseason. The Techsters responded with a 12-5-4 overall record, including an 11-game unbeaten streak and a 1-1 tie with No. 19-ranked Denver, to finish in fourth in the league while setting records by allowing only 15 goals and recording 12 shutouts along the way. For that year as well, Sherry was named Coach of the Year for the state of Louisiana. Of course the passion has not only been seen on the soccer field, but in the classroom as well. Since the native of Grantham, England arrived in Ruston, LA Tech has consistently been recognized for its excellence in education as they were awarded the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas Team Academic Award for eight consecutive school years. The award recognizes teams that have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better. Most recently, the team had a league-best 28 student-athletes that were recognized by being named to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll during the 2015-16 academic year, maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better. Of those student-athletes, 11 also received the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal which is given to those who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better. The third pillar -- respect -- has been acknowledged through their sportsmanship as the team has been awarded multiple times with the NSCAA Ethics/Sportsmanship Award. The award recognizes teams with less than five yellow cards throughout the season. The biggest impact of the program most often comes from the fourth pillar - Service. Community service has been demonstrated year-round in Sherry's nine years as head coach. At the inaugural Techspys, the soccer team took home the SAAC award for the team that best represents the commitment to promoting a positive image in the community. In 2010, Sherry's Lady Techsters finished with a record of 15-6 overall, a school record for most wins in a single season, and a third-place finish in the WAC. That same year, LA Tech qualified for the WAC Tournament for the first time in the program's young history with the event held at the Lady Techster Soccer Complex. In a season with so many great accomplishments, Sherry recorded a personal one of his own. With an 8-0 win over Grambling State on Sept. 1, 2010, Sherry won the 100th game of his NCAA coaching career. In 2009, after winning their first 11 games, Sherry led Tech to a 12-7-1 record, including the program's first-ever league win. Tech scored the most goals (54), assists (45) and points (153) ever in a single season. In 2008, the Techsters were recognized for their significant improvement from their 2007 campaign when they went 2-14-1. Sherry and Co. posted a 10-5-5 record, an eight game improvement that the NCAA recognized along with three other schools, as one of the most improved teams in the nation. Shortly after the conclusion of the 2008 season, Sherry was selected to serve as U.S. Youth Olympic Development coach. Sherry was given the responsibility of coaching the Louisiana U-16 team and was also selected to instruct a coaching clinic for all high school coaches in the state of Louisiana. In his nine years at LA Tech, he has coached eight players who were selected All-Conference, two of which also earned Louisiana Player of the Year honors. Sherry spent 2005 and 2006 as head coach at Western Illinois. He inherited a program that was 24-111-7 over its history, having never experienced a winning season. Between the two seasons, he compiled a 20-13-4 record, and the program was recognized as one of the NCAA's most improved. He led Western Illinois to its first Mid-Continent Championship finals in 2006. Even though the Westerwinds lost the conference championship, they finished with an 11-7-1 record. Their 11 wins were the most victories in a season in school history. Sherry turned around another losing program as head women's soccer coach at Graceland University. Prior to his arrival, the Yellowjackets never had a winning season in its history. That changed as well. He coached Graceland to records of 12-7-1 and 16-2-3 before he led the team to an 18-0-5 record in his final season. Their success equated to the school's first undefeated season, the school's first-ever Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Championship, an appearance in the NAIA Final Four and its highest national ranking of seventh by the NSCAA. For Sherry's efforts, he was named NSCAA Central Region NAIA Women's Coach of the Year. While being head coach at Graceland, Sherry also served as head coach of the Des Moines Menace U-15 Boys Super Y League and worked with the Iowa Olympic Development program. Sherry has international coaching experience as well as he was the head men's soccer coach at Nagoya Gakuin University and the Aichi F.C. Nagoya junior youth head coach in Japan prior to his four-year stint at Graceland. He also worked as the director of soccer coaching and player youth development for the Al Nahda national schools organization in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 1992-93. Sherry got his first-ever head coaching job at Burlington Danes High School in London in 1987. During his five years at the institution, the school won the West London Area Cup at every age level and also won the prestigious London Championship two straight years. One of his former players, Danny Dichio, formerly played for the MLS club Toronto FC from 2007-09. Sherry also headed the West London Schools F.A. select teams from 1989-92. He served as the head coach for the U-16 select team from 1991-92 and the U-15 select team from 1989-90. As a student-athlete, Sherry played for the West London Institute of Higher Education and won the British National College Championship in 1987. He was selected to play for the FISEC Great Britain U-18 team and went on to play for Bangor City in the United Kingdom and Morning Star in Hong Kong. Sherry earned degrees in physical education/sports science and sociology from Bangor University in Wales, along with his master's from Leicester University in England. He possesses the United States Soccer Federation's "A" license and the U.E.F.A. "International" coaching license from England. Fyffe comes to ULM after a success five seasons at Tusculum College, her primary job will be to coach our goalkeepers, but will also be heavily involved in recruiting, video breakdown, and technical field sessions.
While at Tusculum, Fyffe has helped coach her team to five births in the South Atlantic Conference, playing in two semi-final games and three quarterfinal games.
Fyffe has had her players earn multiple awards, at the national, regional, and conference levels. Over her five years, Fyffe has seen seven players with NCAA Division II honors, three academic all- district players, and fifteen players named to the All-South Atlantic Conference team, among other awards.
In 2016, Fyffe and the Pioneers earned the title of South Athletic Conference Champions, in addition to holding the school record for best goals against average.
Fyffe, a native of Bellbrook, Ohio, is a 2010 graduate of Tusculum, earning a bachelor of arts degree in sport management with a minor in coaching. In her playing career, she played 22 games and compiled a 9-6-1 record with a 1.18 goals against average. Her career goals against average ranks as the seventh-best in program history.
Kylee Hathaway is in her second season as a Cowgirl assistant coach and comes to McNeese from Texas Southern University, where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach, primarily training the goalkeepers.
In her first season for the Cowgirls, helped the team record the most wins in school history (13) with a record of 13-7-1, first win over an SEC opponent (Arkansas), highest RPI ranking in school history, and first ranking in the Midwest United Soccer Coaches ranking (#7 in week 3). Hathaway also helped Goalkeeper Emma Roccaforte record 2 Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week nominations, Hero of the Week and an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
At Texas Southern, Hathaway helped the Lady Tigers to three record setting seasons. Her players set multiple school and individual records and two back-to-back winning seasons with a historical 11-6-1 record in 2016. Her goalkeepers also received Goalkeeper of the Week recognitions and a SWAC Freshmen of the Year award. She has mentored 6 all-conference players, including the 2015 Conference Freshman of the Year, who held the top save percentage (.81 SV%). Hathaways conference record at TSU concluded with a 20-8-2 record and three conference tournament appearances.
From 2015-2018, Hathaway also worked with the U.S Soccer Olympic Development Program developing youth soccer in South Texas. She was also a technical trainer for Lamar Soccer Club and Club Administrator for the Total Football Club in Katy, Texas.
Hathaway earned her Business Management degree from Alabama State University in 2015 and her Masters degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern in 2017.
While at ASU, Kylee was the starting goalkeeper all four years. She was named to the SWAC All-Conference second team in 2012, the SWAC All-Conference first team in 2013, and the NCAA Division I Senior CLASS Award Second Team in 2014. Throughout her playing career, she was named SWAC Conference Player of the Week and College Sports Madness Player of the Week multiple times. She was named SWAC Defensive player of the Year in 2013 and helped the team reach many momentous achievements over her career.
Her primary responsibilities at McNeese will include training goalkeepers, recruitment, team travel, film analysis and fundraising.

Daniel O'Hare is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Arkansas State women's soccer team.
O'Hare serves as the Red Wolves goalkeeper coach and guided his group to the best single-season goals-against-average in school history at 0.85 in 2017. A-State rotated among two primary goalkeepers in Kelsey Ponder and Megan McClure. The pair combines to allow just 15 goals on the year and had six shutouts and nine victories.
Ponder took over as the teams primary keeper late in the year and was named as an All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team selection after she set numerous school records during the year. She broke her own record by collecting five shutouts on the year and currently possesses the lowest single-season goals-against average in the programs history at 0.57. She also owns the record for most wins by a goalkeeper in a career at 14 finished the year ranked in the top-five in saves.
His duties at Arkansas State will include serving at the goalkeeper coach and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the team.
O'Hare graduated Tennessee Wesleyan with his bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance. He also graduate with his master's degree in Business Administration at Arkansas State in 2019.
Free was also a Director of Coaching and Director of Communications at Chesterfield United FC and the Virginia Soccer Association. Free began his coaching career as a Football in the Community Coach for his hometown team Doncaster Rovers FC in 2009. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2014, he took on the role as a Director of Coaching at Chesterfield United FC in Virginia. His main roles included the running the Goalkeeping program while also specializing in the clubs PR and Marketing scheme. His role also included coaching and developing several boys and girls youth teams from the ages of U8-U18. Free would go on to take up a similar role at the Virginia Soccer Association. While at Chowan University, Free was part of the coaching staff that saw a huge turnaround in the program's fortunes. Going 1-14 the year previous, the Hawks won a program record amount of games going 12-8 in their first year under the new coaching regime. Free's goalkeepers kept 6 clean sheets during their record breaking season. Free also coaches with the Louisiana Olympic Development Program. While coaching the '99 Girls team, six of his players made the Region III ODP pool in 2016. He has also coached several goalkeepers that have gone on to play NCAA D1 and D2 soccer and also represented US youth national teams. Free started his playing career as youth player at Leeds United FC before enjoying a five-year spell at professional English Championship club Barnsley FC. After signing a youth contract in 2007, He was a regular for their youth and reserve teams during his time there and earned the Barnsley FC Supporters Club Young Player of the Year award in his final season. In 2010, Free traveled to Boone, N.C. where he was a four-year starter for the Appalachian State University Mountaineers. Over his career he started in all of his 52 appearances recording exactly 200 saves with a 0.99 goals against average. A 1st team All-Southern Conference selection in his junior year, he finished his career with the Mountaineers as a team captain in 2013. Free played for Chesterfield United FC in 2014 and VSA U23's in 2015 in the NPSL. Free currently holds a USSF "C" License, English FA Level 2 License, USSF National Youth License and NSCAA GK Level 1 and 2 License Free graduated from Appalachian State with a bachelors degree in Communications (focus in journalism), while minoring in Health Education. He is a lifelong fan of his hometown team Doncaster Rovers FC and currently resides in New Orleans.
Brian Bronowski enters his fifth season with Air Force women's soccer in 2022. He is the Falcons Goalkeeper coach after joining the program in January 2017.
A Colorado Springs native, Bronowski has spent the last 32 years working with youth soccer clubs in Virginia, Ohio, and Indiana. Before his return to Colorado Springs, Brian was the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) director at Carmel United Soccer Club in Carmel, Indiana. Additionally, he was an Assistant/GK coach with the College of William & Mary women's program, an Assistant/GK coach with the Hampton Roads Mariners, and has also worked with the Columbus Crew.
Bronowski has also worked with the Olympic Development Programs in Virginia, Ohio South & Indiana has taught coaching courses in Kentucky, Indiana & Ohio South, and was a staff & head coach in Region II for 10 years. Brian holds US Soccer 'A', National Youth License, NSCAA Premier, and Goalkeeping Level II Diploma.
Hogan Vivier enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Troy women's soccer team. Vivier arrived at Troy after enjoying a playing career at Brown University in Providence, RI., where she was a Division I defender in the Ivy League for four years. She also has youth coaching experience at The Wheeler School.
Vivier, a Rhode Island native, graduated from Brown in 2016 and began coaching at her former elementary and high school, The Wheeler School, while still in college. After graduating with a degree in education with a focus in human development, she continued to work at The Wheeler School as assistant varsity coach for the girls soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams.
Vivier has a USSF "E" license. She has worked at Brown women's soccer clinics and as an ACT at Region 1 camp coaching and evaluating players to be selected for the Regional Team.
Ben Parman enters his 6th season with the Grand Canyon women's soccer team in 2023, having been hired in January 2018. Parman joins the Lopes after a three-year stint with fellow WAC member New Mexico State.
A goalkeeper in his playing days, Parman works primarily with the goalkeepers, team travel, scouting and day-to-day operations.
In his five seasons at GCU, Parman has helped coach a pair of GCU goalkeepers that ranked in the top three in saves in the WAC. In 2018, redshirt senior Abby Burton led the WAC with 103 saves and was the only goalie in the conference to reach the century mark in saves that season while earning three WAC defensive player of the week honors. In, 2019 Parman coached freshman Lauren Garthwaite to First Team All-WAC honors, a first for the GCU program. Garthwaite finished with 93 saves, the seventh most by a freshman in Division I and set a GCU single game record with 16 saves against California Baptist.
At New Mexico State, Parman again coached goalkeepers to WAC honors. In 2017, New Mexico State freshman Dmitri Fong, had a break out year finishing the season with a 1.28 goals against average and five shutouts earning Second Team All-WAC honors. In 2016 Parman coached Ashley Martin who recorded 88 saves which was good for second most in program history.
Prior to New Mexico State, Parman served as the head coach at Lyon College from 2011-2014 at the NAIA level. Parman left the program winningest coach with a 34-34-3 record. His teams also earned National Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards every year he was at the helm.
Parman coached junior Ana Waldman to NAIA All-American honors after she broke the schools single-season records in goals (21) and points (46) in 2014. Parman also coached a conference player of the year, freshman of the year and a total of six all-region players. In his four years, the Scots tallied 18 all-conference honorees including nine first-teamers.
Prior to his time at Lyon, Parman spent three seasons (2008-10) as an assistant for both the mens and womens program at Division II Hendrix College in Conway, Ark coaching the goalkeepers. Parman played a crucial role in turning the womens team around from being the worst team in conference to being in the top-half of conference.
During his time in Arkansas, Parman also worked with the states Olympic Development Program as one of the head coaches and the programs official goalkeeping coach. He was also the director of goalkeeping for the Arkansas Rush Soccer Club.
Parman is a 2008 graduate of Luther College where he received his bachelors degree in business management with an emphasis in sports management. He was a four-year starter at goalkeeper and finished his career ranked fifth all-time in program history with a 1.08 goals against average. In four seasons he only allowed 23 goals in over 1,900 minutes played while accumulating 113 saves and eight shutouts.
Parman is an active member of the NSCAA and holds numerous licenses and diplomas, including an NSCAA National Diploma and NSCAA Goalkeeping Licenses.
Joshua Schirmer enters his first season as an assistant coach with UMass Lowell womens soccer in 2018.
An English FA Level 1, NSCAA Advanced National, USSF C and UEFA B license holder, Schirmer most recently coached for the Sparta Prague professional womens team. He led the team to a Czech First Division championship, Czech Womens Cup, and UEFA Womens Champions League qualification as a seeded team.
Before that, Schirmer was on the womens soccer staff at the University of North Florida, where the teams win total increased each season after his arrival.
He has also worked at Eastern Florida State College, first serving as an assistant coach of the mens team and later as associate head coach of the womens team. He helped the mens team to a fifth-place finish in the NJCAA and the womens team to third and second-place finishes in 2014 and 2015.
The Jacksonville, Fla., native played at Tennessee Wesleyan College, graduating magna cum laude in 2004 with a bachelors degree in business finance and an economics minor. He was a two-time NAIA Scholar All-American and a three-year member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
After graduating, he played professionally for one season in Hong Kong and spent seven years in Japan, including with the Urawa Reds from 2009-2012.
He is currently finishing his masters degree in educational leadership from the University of North Florida.
Dylan Harrison 02 will enter his sixth year as head coach of the Trinity womens soccer team during the 2021 fall season.
Appointed in 2016, the former Tiger mens soccer standout has amassed a record of 86-9-2, for a winning percentage of .896 over the last five seasons.
Coach Harrisons teams have also posted an undefeated 55-0-0 mark in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC). The Tigers have captured five SCAC Championships with Coach Harrison at the helm - including the 2019 season - and have advanced each year to the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Tigers would have qualified for the 2021 spring season but the winter championships were canceled due to COVID-19. Respected by his peers, Coach Harrison was elected the SCAC Coach of the Year for the three times in a row.
Due to the pandemic, the Tigers competed in a condensed season during the spring of 2021. Trinity finished with an unblemished 10-0 record and took home SCAC championship honors. En route to being crowned the conference champions, the Tigers poured in nine goals to defeat Schreiner in the conference quarterfinals on Apr. 17 and set a SCAC record for most goals scored in a single match. The Trinity University womens soccer team was voted the no. 1 team in the nation by the United Soccers Coaches in the final poll but was unable to play in the NCAA Tournament due to COVID-19 cancelling fall sport championships.
Coach Harrison and his assistant coaches were also elected the 2019 NCAA Division III West Region Staff of the Year by United Soccer Coaches. Sharing the honor were Assistant Coaches Spencer Valdespino, Claire Edwards '08, and Jeremiah Narvaez.
Trinity completed the 2019 season with a 17-4-1 overall record, an 8-0-0 mark in the SCAC, and a #20 ranking by D3soccer.com. After securing the conference regular-season title, the Tigers headed to the SCAC Tournament at Georgetown, Texas, as the top seeds, and defeated the University of Dallas (TX) in the Semifinals. Trinity and host Southwestern (TX) University battled to a 0-0 regulation tie in the Championship Game. The Pirates edged the Tigers 5-4 in penalty kicks and claimed the SCAC title.
However, Trinity received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament, marking the Tigers 11th consecutive appearance in the postseason event. The Tigers traveled to Abilene, Texas, for the first two rounds and defeated Pacific Lutheran (WA) University in the opener. Trinity then beat 19th-ranked host Hardin-Simmons (TX) University in the second.
The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 for the first time since 2016, during Coach Harrison's first year at the helm. The Tigers headed to Grantham, Pennsylvania, where the top-ranked host Messiah (PA) College prevailed in the third-round matchup.
Senior Kristen Canepa was elected to the United Soccer Coaches All-America First Team for the second year in a row, and earned a slot on the D3soccer.com All-America Second Team. Canepa was honored as the SCAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight occasion.
Coach Harrisons squads have produced six All-Americans, three Academic All-Americans, eight Scholar All-Americans, and 13 All-West Region honorees. Chelsea Cole was awarded a prestigious NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship following the 2018 season while Lindsey Peng earned the same prestigious award after the 2021 spring season.
Since 2016, seven Tigers have been elected the SCAC Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year. A total of 35 Trinity players have been tabbed for the All-SCAC Teams during Coach Harrisons tenure.
The 2018 Tiger team completed the campaign with a 17-2-1 overall record and a #18 ranking by United Soccer Coaches. Trinity hosted the SCAC Championship and defeated Southwestern (TX) University to capture the conference title for the 10th consecutive occasion. The Tigers advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship and claimed a decision over Occidental (CA) College in the opening round at Abilene, Texas. The third-ranked host Hardin-Simmons (TX) University beat Trinity in the second round.
The 2017 Tigers finished with a 19-2-0 record and a #13 ranking by d3soccer.com. Trinity won the SCAC Championship with a victory over Texas Lutheran University. Heading to the NCAA Championship, the Tigers shut out the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX) in the first round, and were eliminated by Hardin-Simmons in a tightly played second-round matchup.
Coach Harrisons charges chalked up a 23-1-0 mark in 2016 and went undefeated in the regular season. The .958 winning percentage was the best in Division III. D3soccer.com ranked Trinity fifth in the nation in the final poll of the season.
The Tigers won the SCAC title by defeating Southwestern and opened the NCAA Division III Championship with a win over Mount Union (OH) College. Hanover (IN) College fell to Trinity in the second round. The Tigers returned home to take out Penn State (PA) Berks in the third round of the tournament. The eventual national champion, Washington University in St. Louis (MO) eliminated Trinity in the quarterfinals.
Harrison was a key member of the Tigers mens team from 1998-2001. Under the guidance of Head Coach Paul McGinlay, the former defender and team captain earned All-SCAC Second Team accolades in 2000 and 2001. During Coach Harrisons playing days the Tigers advanced to the NCAA quarterfinals in 1998 and 1999 and to the third round in 2000.
He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 2002.
Prior to joining the Trinity staff, he held the head womens soccer position at Nicholls State (LA) University from 2009-2016. The NCAA Division I program made great strides under his leadership, as the Colonels set a school record for single-season victories (2013) and was the sixth-most improved team in the nation that season.
Nicholls State advanced to the Southland Conference semifinals in 2014. His teams also produced two National Soccer Coaches Association of America (now United Soccer Coaches) All-Region Players and a Southland Conference Player of the Year.
Coach Harrison holds the distinction of having the most career womens soccer victories at the school, located in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He earned a masters degree in business administration at Nicholls State.
An excellent teacher of the sport of soccer, Coach Harrison mentored the 97 Louisiana Girls Olympic Development Team from 2012-2015. Three of the players attended national camps, and Coach Harrison was elected the 2014 Louisiana Soccer Association Coach of the Year.
From 2006-2008, Coach Harrison led the DIII womens program at Sewanee: The University of the South (TN). He guided seven players to All-SCAC recognition. The versatile Coach Harrison was also an assistant track & field coach, focusing on sprinters and jumpers.
He began his coaching career in 2003 at San Antonios University of the Incarnate Word, and oversaw all travel logistics and game-day operations. UIW was a member of the NCAA Division II at that time.
A native of Napoleonville, Louisiana, Coach Harrison is married to the former Kristen Fillmore, a Nicholls State graduate, soccer standout, and assistant womens coach. She is Trinitys Associate Athletic Director for Recreation and Sports Camps.
Mike Wentzler joined the Eagles coaching staff prior to the 2011 season, and currently serves as the teams goalkeeper coach.
His efforts in his seven seasons with the team have led Emory to produce one of the top defenses in the country during that stretch, with his keepers allowing just 88 goals in 137 games. Recently during the 2015 season, Wentzler guided Liz Arnold to a All-UAA Honorable Mention, her third straight All-UAA honor. Her .818 goals-against average during the campaign was the 70th-lowest in Division III in 2015.
In 2012, he coached Kaele Leonard to the 13th-lowest goals-against average in Division III (0.459), and the 38th-best save percentage (0.86), as the senior claimed an all-UAA honorable mention, as Emory finished as the National Runner-Up. During his first season on the team, Wentzler's efforts helped Emory go 17-1-2 and claim a conference Championship, advancing to the round of 16 of the NCAA Championships. Under his watch in 2011, Leonard was named to the all-South Atlantic Region Second Team and an honorable mention to the all-UAA team after finishing third in Division III with a 0.288 goals-against average and sixth with a 0.909 save percentage. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Erica Stein set a school record with a 0.20 goals-against average during the year. As a team, Emory ended the year ranked third among Division III schools with a 0.242 goals-against average and a 0.8 shutout percentage, and fifth with a 0.904 save percentage.
Wentzler was a two-time NAIA all-American for Berry College in Rome, GA during his collegiate playing days. He also earned all-conference and all-region honors in 2006 and 2007, and was named the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2007. Wentzler graduated from Berry in 2008 with a Bachelor of Sciences, majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Womens Studies.
Wentzler holds a National D coaching license certification. He currently teaches at St. Pius X Catholic High School.
Dan Palmer completed his sixth season as the head women's soccer coach at Oberlin College in 2018.
In six seasons he has completely revamped the program, raising the team's level of play and competitiveness while creating a culture of winning. In 2014, the Yeowomen tied a school record with 10 wins after combining for 10 wins in the three seasons prior (2011-13). Two-time UAA Coach of the Year, Palmer's teams were ranked in the nation's top-20 three times, including as high as second in 2007. During his time with the Spartans, he also mentored numerous All-Americans and Scholar-All Americans.
Served as the head men's soccer coach at Hiram for two season (2002-03). Previously, he worked as the head women's soccer coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, from 1996-01 - compiling a 70-47-6 record - before also taking over its inaugural men's program from 1997 to 2001.
A 1981 graduate of North Central College (Illinois), Palmer got his start in coaching at his alma mater where he served as the head men's coach from 1984 until 1989. He also earned a master's degree from Northeastern Illinois University in 1989

Stinson becomes the ninth coach of the 21-year old program. Stinson replaces Angelina Pane, who left after four seasons to pursue interests outside of the University of Dallas. Stinson's first date of working was on January 2.
Stinson arrives after serving this past season as an assistant coach with LeTourneau University. She worked and was mentored by third-year head coach John Antonisse. Her responsibilities included: recruiting, developing practice plans, creating plan of attack for games, and helping student-athletes to succeed academically. The Yellow Jackets went 8-9-1 that season and were 3-6-1 in the American Southwest Conference (ASC). Senior midfielder Stephanie Vana was named Third Team All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Stinson was no stranger to the ASC, playing soccer at Hardin-Simmons University from 2012-15. A graduate in December, 2015, Stinson earned a Bachelor of Behavioral Science with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Forensic Studies.
As a goalie for the Cowgirls, Stinson earned three NSCAA All-Regions, four ASC All-Conferences, 2015 ASC Goalkeeper of the Year, 2015 Academic All-ASC, and 2014 ASC All-Tournament Team.
Stinson is currently pursuing a Master of Psychology at LeTourneau and is projected to graduate in December, 2017.
I played Division one for the University of North Texas as a goalkeeper for 4 years. In my time their we won 6 Conference USA titles, 3 regular season titles and 3 conference tournament titles. I was a team leader and helped guide the team to our victories.
I have now worked for the North Texas Celtic Futbol Club as a goal keeper coach for the past 5 years. I coach kids from the age of 9 that are in Elementary School all the way to High School kids at the age of 18.

Jorden Smith is in her first season as an assistant coach at Midwestern State University. She previously spent three years with Sam Houston State University.
Before Sam Houston, she served as the inaugural head coach of both mens and womens soccer teams at Blinn College, helping build those programs from the ground up in 2018. The Blinn mens squad reached the NJCAA Region XIV Tournament during its inaugural season.
Before Blinn, Smith spent two seasons as the head assistant for the Angelina College men's and women's soccer programs, which she helped establish in 2016. The womens team reached the NJCAA Region XIV Tournament each year during her tenure.
Kristin Cox will be entering her 4th season as the head coach of the women's soccer team after three seasons as the assistant. She played four years at Lubbock Christian University where she was on the All-Conference - Team in 2014, CoSIDA Academic All-District Selection 2013/2014. Cox, formerly Fellows, married ETBU head men's soccer coach Chad Cox in December 2018.

Brandon Badgeley joined the Howard Payne athletic department as the head women's coach in the spring of 2016. Brandon was recently named the 2021 American Southwest Conference Coach of the Year!
Before HPU, Brandon Badgeley spent the two seasons as the head girls coach at Cedar Hill High school in Cedar Hill, Texas. There he increased the teams win total by seven games and achieved first double digit win season for Cedar Hill in last four years.
Before Cedar Hill, Badgeley spent two seasons at Haltom High School in Haltom City, Texas where he led the program to its first double digit win season in 17 years, only the 2nd in the programs 25 year history. He also grew program from 40 student-athletes to nearly 70 in two years.
A 2009 graduate of Howard Payne, as a student he was an initiator assisting the administration in the creation of the first intercollegiate soccer programs at Howard Payne University. He was assigned the task of developing a business plan that was presented to the HPU Board of Trustees that initiated HPUs first Division III intercollegiate men's and women's soccer programs.
He served as a student assistant coach at Howard Payne to both the men's and women's teams under Sam McCutcheon and Kevin Wright in the programs first three seasons.
After graduating from HPU in May of 2009 with a Bachelors of Business Administration, he worked one year as a teacher in Midlothian ISD and as a volunteer coach with the Midlothian soccer program. He then spent two years working for the Hurst Euless Bedford ISD as a teacher before taking the head soccer position at Haltom High School.
Brandon holds a NSCAA National Level 2 Goalkeeping Certificate, and ISPAS Applied Match Analyst certificate. He is married to Lindsay and they have four children Ainsley, Beckham, Coleton, and Darby.

Louisiana Soccer first-year head coach Lance Key announced, on Friday, Feb. 15, the hiring of Stephen Salas as Assistant Soccer Coach and Recruiting Coordinator making Coach Salas, Coach Keys first new addition to his staff as the program begins to make strides towards the 2019 season.
Stephen epitomizes the type of human being that every parent would desire their son or daughter to be led by throughout their collegiate experience," said Coach Key. "As we focus forward on building champions, in life, in the classroom, and on the soccer field, he will be integral in facilitating that growth, as he is a champion himself.
Coach Salas has evolved as a coach under great leadership and mentorship at his previous two stops, and I have great respect for the coaches that poured into him during those tenures. Stephen played an integral role in helping to transform a program into an NCAA Division I Tournament side in his most recent position, which we are aspiring towards here.
I am confident that Stephens influence on our program, institution, and community at-large will be profound. We are very blessed to be adding Stephen.
Coach Salas has spent the previous six seasons as the Associate Head Womens Soccer Coach at Abilene Christian. During his time at ACU (2013-18) Salas, whos specialty was coaching the goalkeepers, was a key part of the coaching staff that helped lead the Wildcats to what was the best season in program history, a 15-6-1 2018 season that saw the Wildcats win its first-ever Southland Conference Championship.
The Wildcats rode their conference championship to a berth in the NCAA Tournament which was not only the first appearance for the soccer program but the first time an ACU athletic program has ever appeared in a NCAA Tournament at the Division I level. During ACUs historic run to the NCAA Tournament, the Wildcats ripped off seven-straight wins to finish the season, during a stretch where ACU outscored its opponents 15-2.
Prior to his time at ACU, Salas spent six seasons as a player and eventually assistant coach at his alma mater Hardin-Simmons. He was the Cowboys' goalkeeper from 2008 to 2011 and helped his squad win the 2009 American Southwest Conference Tournament and reach the NCAA Championships' Sweet 16 behind an overall record of 12-3-6.
Salas eventually became an assistant and goalkeeping coach on the HSU womens soccer team, joining the staff prior to the start of the 2011 season, and in two years he helped lead them to 38 wins, a pair of conference regular season and tournament championships, and an appearance in the 2012 NCAA Sweet 16. His goalkeepers also allowed just eight goals (0.36 GAA) in each season and combined for 33 shutouts as HSU extended its regular-season conference unbeaten streak to a NCAA-record 157 matches.
During Salas' two years on the Cowgirls' bench, HSU finished with a No. 12 national ranking in 2011 by the NSCAA, seventh in 2012, and received two NSCAA/adidas team academic awards. The program also produced a national player of the year, five all-Americas, four academic all-Americas, 11 all-region selections and 14 all-conference honorees.
Salas' additional experience includes working at the Texas A&M and University of Texas summer soccer camps and coaching the Region III (girls) Olympic Development Program. He also served as the Director of Coaching, Academy Director, and Head Coach for the Abilene Soccer Club along with being the area director for FC Dallas WTX in Abilene, Texas.
Salas did have a professional career as well, playing two summers for the DFW Tornados of the USL Professional Development League. He received his Bachelors of Behavioral Science in Education from Hardin-Simmons in December of 2012.
Natalie Rigney joined the McMurry University staff as the assistant coach for both women's and men's soccer in the spring of 2018. Rigney, a native of Brandon, Fla., came to the War Hawks' family after a two-year stint coaching both the women's and men's soccer programs at nearby Ranger College. At Ranger, Rigney served as the head women's soccer coach and assistant men's coach in the fall of 2017. She was also the interim men's head coach in the spring of 2017. Before taking over the reins as women's head coach for the 2017 campaign, she was the women's assistant coach for the 2016 season. Rigney also served as the assistant varsity soccer coach at Glenvar High School (Va.) in 2015. Additionally, her experience on the pitch includes numerous clubs, clinics and private instruction from 2010-2014. As for her own playing career, Rigney lettered three seasons at Tennessee Temple University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in psychology in 2014. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and was the Psychology Department Graduate of the Year. Rigney holds a Level "E" coaching certificate from the Virginia Youth Soccer Association, as well as a Level 1 Coaching Certificate from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Greg Cathell begins his 3rd season as the Centenary Ladies Soccer Coach in 2019. He is the fifth coach in the history of Ladies soccer. Last season he lead the program to it's most wins in a season in nearly a decade (9). In only two years he has taken a program that had only averaged 4 wins a year the previous 5 years and turned it into a winner.
In 2018, Ladies Soccer turned in its best season as a member of the SCAC with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-5 mark in conference action. The six wins to begin the season ties a program record for the best start to a season. The .667 winning percentage was the best in the NCAA Division III era while Centenary's four All-Conference players, juniors Emilee Byrd and Kyra Montes (First Team), junior Betzabet Bravo (Second Team), and freshman Kat Martinez (Honorable Mention) were the most All-Conference players for Centenary in more than 20 years.
Cathell comes to Shreveport after one season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Siena, where he coached seven All-Conference Players, as well as the 2016 Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the year.
The Saints finished the season with a 9-7-3 record and the second seed in the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament, their highest seed in 12 seasons.
For the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Cathell served as the head womens soccer coach at NCAA Division III Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. His teams excelled both on and off the pitch, as the Engineers boasted a 19-12-8 record in two seasons. Cathells squads also received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Academic Award both seasons, and he coached the first womens soccer Athletic and Academic All-American at Rensselaer.
For four seasons prior to his stint with the Engineers, Cathell served as the assistant womens soccer coach and head recruiting coordinator at NCAA Division III Salisbury University. He helped recruit a freshmen class that went a combined 34-17-6 over three seasons, including two Regular Season Capital Athletic Conferences and two trips to the CAC Tournament Championship game, with one CAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
Cathell also recruited and coached the first Sea Gulls womens soccer player to earn CAC Rookie of the Year accolades.
From 2003-08, Cathell coached soccer at Delmar High School in Delmar, Delaware, with stints as both the boys and girls head coach. In 2008, he garnered both the State of Delaware Coach and Small School Coach of the Year honors.
Cathell was a four year NCAA Division I scholarship student athlete at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore and was named All-Conference and All-Tournament Team in 2003 and 2006. In 2006, he received the Team MVP Award for the Hawks. He graduated from UMES in 2009 with a degree in secondary education social studies concentration. Cathell received his Masters in post-secondary education from Salisbury in December of 2012.
Cathell holds his national coaching diploma and advanced regional coaching diploma from the NSCAA.
Greg and his wife, Mia, reside in Shreveport and are expecting their first child, Hope, in January 2018.
Coach Muñoz joined the ASU coaching staff in January 2017. He serves in all areas of the program: coaching, recruiting, game planning, scouting, and video analysis.
The 2022 season saw Muñoz assist the Belles to the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament.
In the fall of 2021, Muñoz helped guide the Rambelles to a Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship and a trip to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.
In the spring of 2021, Muñoz helped guide the Rambelles to a perfect 10-0 record and the Lone Star Conference Regular Season as well as Tournament Championship. The Rambelles defense only conceded two goals in the whole season.
2019 saw the Rambelles go 12-5-2 overall and 8-4-1 in conference play.
In 2018, Muñoz helped guide the Belles to its first ever Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. In 2017, Coach Muñoz helped guide ASU to a regular season Lone Star Conference Championship and a first round appearance at the NCAA Tournament.
Before arriving at Angelo State, Muñoz spent one season as the head women's soccer coach at Georgia Southwestern State University. During his one season with the Division II program, Muñoz improved the team's win/loss record and also led the program to its highest scoring season in eight years.
Before working at Georgia Southwestern, Muñoz was a volunteer assistant coach at Mercer from 2014 to 2016, helping lead the team to a Southern Conference Tournament Championship and a school record 14 wins in 2014. The performance earned the Bears an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to his time at Mercer, Muñoz was the head men's coach in the Lone Star Conference at Eastern New Mexico. During his six seasons with the Greyhounds the team only finished with a losing record in its first year, and Muñoz won the Lone Star Conference Championship with a 9-4-5 record while setting the school record for fewest goals allowed in a season. Muñoz had worked at ENMU earlier in his career as a graduate assistant for the men's team while McCorkle was the head of both programs for the Greyhounds.
Prior to being the head coach at Eastern New Mexico, Muñoz was the head women's soccer coach and the associate head women's soccer coach at NAIA member Midland University. In the 2007 season, he led the Warriors to a 13-2-4 record and earned a runner-up finish in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship.
Muñoz played collegiate soccer at William Woods University from 1998-2002 where he was a First Team All-American Midwest Conference selection. He went on to obtain a Master's of Science in Physical Education while serving as a graduate assistant coach at Eastern New Mexico.
A Bogotá, Colombia native, Muñoz also played semi-professionally in the Canadian Professional Soccer League with North York Astros and in the Premier Development League with the Sioux Falls Spitfire. Muñoz currently holds a Premier Diploma as well as a Goalkeeping Level I & II diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Ramos helped the program to its first-ever American Southwest Conference post-season tournament in her first season as the assistant coach. Ramos, who was named the assistant coach in July of 2015, also helped the program to its most conference wins since 2009.
Ramos, a native of Arlington, Texas, was a four-year lettewinner at LeTourneau University, helping the program to its most wins since 2009 her senior season. She started in 13 matches and recorded one assist in her final year, and as a junior she started in 19 matches. She finished her career as a three-time American Southwest Conference All-Academic Team member. In 2014, Ramos attended the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis.
She starred at Martin High School earning MVP honors twice and serving as the team captain.
Ramos received her bachelor's degree in business management from LeTourneau in 2015.
Samantha Etherington is the sixth head coach in Louisiana College Women's Soccer program history.
As a graduate assistant at the University of Dubuque from 2013-2015, Etherington assisted in every facet of a program that won the Iowa Conference (IIAC) regular season and postseason championship. The program also made an NCAA Tournament appearance on its way to setting new school records for wins (16), consecutive wins (6), home wins (10), fewest goals allowed (18), and shutouts (10).
Prior to Dubuque, Etherington put together an impressive coaching resume in a short period of time, as she served as student assistant coach at Nicholls State University and assistant coach at E.D. White High School in Thibodaux for the 2012-2013 season.
As a four-year student-athlete at Nicholls State University, Etherington played in 7 games, making 66 starts, as well as scoring 5 goals and 11 assists for 21 career points. Etherington was also named MVP for her junior and senior seasons; in addition to being named team captain her senior year.
Prior to Nicholls State, Etherington was a two-time conference champion at Gateshead College in Gateshead, England, as well as 5v5 National Champion. Most recently, Etherington was named in the Gateshead College Athletic Hall of Fame. Etherington played club soccer for Newcastle United Womens Football Club who competed in the FA Northern Premier League.
Etherington graduated from Nicholls State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Health Sciences, and earned her M.A. in Communications from the University of Dubuque in 2015.
In August 2015, Etherington was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 30 under 30 program. Picked from over 500 applicants, Etherington and will be part of a year long mentorship program created to support and grow Americas next generation of coaches.
Driggs begins his fifth year as the associate head women's soccer coach at West Texas A&M. Driggs came to Albuquerque, N.M.
During his six-year tenure at La Cueva HS, he lead the men's soccer team to three 6-A State Championships. He also has spent the past seven years as the girl's academy director of NM Rush Soccer Club. He began his coaching career in 1993.
Driggs played collegiate soccer at the University of New Mexico. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in social work from the University of New Mexico-Highlands in 2011. He has a Masters in clinical counseling as well.
Driggs has a USSF "B" License and a US Soccer NY License. Also, he is a current education instructor for New Mexico Youth Soccer.

Timmy McCormack just completed his fifth season season as Head Women's Soccer Coach with another conference championship to add from the fall of 2021 after taking the title in the spring of 2021 and an undefeated season in 2017 to go with a USA South Championship season in 2018 for the Lady Lions. McCormack is no stranger to the sidelines for the Green and Gold after spending a combined eight seasons as an Assistant Coach for Piedmont soccer, seven of those with the Lady Lions, prior to taking over as the Head Women's Soccer Coach before the '17 campaign.
In the midst of one of the more uncertain times as schools across the country dealt with the ramifications of COVID-19, the Lady Lions stayed steady winning the 2021 Spring USA South Athletic Conference Championship with another 1-0 over Maryville College, this time doing so at the home of the Scots. The tournament championship marked the 8th conference championship in McCormack's 11 seasons with the program including the last four seasons as the Head Coach.
In his second season as head coach, McCormack led the Lady Lions to its fourth USA South Tournament Championship as Piedmont defeated long-time rival Maryville College, 1-0. Piedmont would advance to the NCAA tournament where it played its closest tournament game to date, falling 2-1 to No. 17 Lynchburg College. The Lady Lions posted 16 shutouts on the season and outscored opponents 41-10 while out-shooting the opposition 18-9.
Piedmont posted a 16-0-4 record under McCormacks leadership in 2017 as the Lady Lions posted 14 shutouts and outscored opponents 53-8. Defensive prowess has been McCormacks specialty as his work with the defensive side of the squad helped Piedmont to 110 shutouts over his combined nine years with the Lady Lions including 18 in 2015.
McCormack has been on the sidelines with the Lady Lions for one of the most impressive decades of soccer in the programs history. Though he just completed his first season as Head Coach, McCormack was an assistant with the program when the women won four conference titles (2011, 2013, 2015, 2016) and helped Piedmont to four NCAA tournament appearances.
In 2015, McCormack helped the Lady Lions to one of their finest seasons in program history with a record 20 wins as Piedmont went 20-2-1 overall with a 10-1-1 conference record on the way to a USA South Tournament Championship and another NCAA Tournament appearance. McCormack saw another All-Conference selection in the goal with Michaela Gardner taking the honors on the way to becoming the second NSCAA All-Region goalkeeping selection since 2009.
McCormack spent two stints as an assistant with the womens program from 2009-2011 and again from 2013-2017. Before switching over to the womens side of the PC soccer program, McCormack operated as an assistant coach with Piedmonts mens soccer team in the fall of 2008.
In the fall of 2012, McCormack led his alma mater Huntingdon College to one of its winningest mens soccer seasons in the previous decade including a victory over 5-time defending conference champions Maryville College, a feat the Hawks had not accomplished since 1999. With the 2-1 win over the Scots snapping a 29-game losing streak to the perennial power, McCormacks squad improved its winning percentage from the previous season and posted a draw with Rhodes College, an opponent that had defeated the Hawks by a combined score of 15-2 in their previous four meetings.
As an active member of United Soccer Coaches, McCormack holds a National Goalkeeping Diploma and Advanced National Diploma in addition to a National B License from the United States Soccer Federation. Having been a member of the camp staffs at the University of Notre Dame, Maryville College, and the Cajun Soccer Club, McCormack also served as the Co-Director of the Marshall Soccer School along with Marshall University Head Mens Soccer Coach Bob Gray in the summer of 2007.
The Lady Lions coach spent his playing days at Great South Athletic Conference member & current USA South member Huntingdon College where he was named to the 2003 GSAC All-Freshman Team and the 2006 All-Tournament Team at the Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational. Prior to his arrival at the collegiate ranks, McCormack won a trio of state championships with the Capital City Soccer Club making a pair of appearances in the US Youth Soccer Southeast Regional Championships.
A 2008 graduate of Huntingdon College, McCormack earned his Bachelor of Arts in History. He followed that with a Master of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont College in 2010.
Currently residing in northeast Georgia, McCormack manages all aspects of the womens soccer program while also serving as an Assistant Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. The Huntingdon alum married the former Jamie Edwards, who serves as the Head Volleyball Coach at Piedmont, in 2008 after the two finished their collegiate playing careers at the fellow conference member institution.
Now in his fifth year as assistant men's soccer coach is former Florida Southern defender Ashley Holmes. After serving as assistant coach under former head coach Ryan Sniegoski in 2013, and from 2015-16, Holmes remained on staff when current head coach Jason Carlson arrived in 2017.
One of the most decorated players in team history, Holmes has been part of the men's soccer program at Florida Southern for all but one of the last 11 years. He spent the first five as a student-athlete from 2008-12, which included a medical redshirt season in 2009. During that time he started all 54 games in which he played and was a 3-time First Team All-Sunshine State Conference defender. He is one of only three Moccasins in team history to make the All-SSC Team three times, was an NSCAA All-South Region selection in 2010, and was twice selected as the Mocs' Most Valuable Player (2010 and 2012). Well-known for his abilities as a center back, Holmes also ranks among the highest scoring defenders to ever play for the Moccasins. He totaled 11 goals and 23 points in his career and was their second leading scorer as a redshirt junior in 2011 with six goals.
Holmes has the distinction of being the only Moccasin to serve as a team captain four years. He was elected to that role as a sophomore in 2009, the year in which he redshirted, and continued to hold that title throughout the remainder of his career. He was also a leader in the classroom at Florida Southern, winning two NCAA Academic Achievement Awards, earning Academic All-Region honors in 2011, and a spot on the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in all five years on the roster, including his final season when he played as a graduate student.
In addition to his duties at Florida Southern, Holmes is also a member of the Auburndale Scream coaching staff where he holds the title of Director of Boys Development. He was the head coach for the U18 Boys team during the 2015-16 season.
Justin Gilfert joined the Falcon women's soccer program as an assistant coach in April of 2019
An all-star player at Hinsdale Central School, Gilfert played in Lloret de Mar, Spain during his senior year with NY Select before graduating to Finger Lakes Community College where he suited up during his freshman season.
He then transferred to Hilbert College where he graduated in December of 2016 after playing for the Hawks the three seasons.
At Hilbert, he was part of a team that reached the quarterfinals of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship twice.
After graduation, he signed with Chivas USA U23 Academy, who operated as an MLS from 2004-2014 in Bradenton, Florida. Gilfert also had multiple professional trials across Europe.

Delgado is the current head coach at Paul Quinn College. He was a player at Howard Payne University and also coaches at the club level at Barca 99.
Raul Herrera enters his 7th season at Richland College. Raul's duties include working with the goalkeepers, running training sessions and recruiting student athletes. Under Rauls guidance as assistant coach, the Thunderducks won the 2016 NJCAA National Championship. They also placed 3rd at NJCAA National Tournament in 2013 and 2015. Also, in 2014, he helped the Ducks to a NJCAA National Runner-up finish. Raul has helped over 45 students/athletes transfer and play at the next level from NAIA to NCAA Division I, II and III. Including 9 players who went on to play at a NCAA Division I program. Besides working with Richland College, Raul Herrera is one of the academy goalkeeper coaches at FC Dallas. He has trained and helped develop numerous youth national team goalkeepers and has been part of the process of two Academy goalkeepers getting signed to the professional team. Raul Herrera is a native of Richardson, Texas. He graduated from Berkner High School where he was a 4-year starter on the Varsity soccer team. In college, Raul becomes a 3 time College All-American. His first year as an All-American came in 2006 where he was Head Coach Sean Worleys Starting goalkeeper on the team that won the 2006 NJCAA National Championship. He later moved on to play at Midwestern State under Coach Doug Elder where he became a 2-time All-American starter and led the team to the NCAA D2 Final Four appearance in 2010. In 2009 Raul Herrera led the NCAA in all divisions with the lowest goals against in the nation with only 5 goals in 16 games. Raul Herrera currently holds a "D" license from the USSF. He also has a Spanish degree with a minor in Kinesiology from Midwestern State University. He is currently working on his Master's Degree in Sports Administration from Midwestern State University

Coach Stringer enters her fourth season with NTCC as the Mens and Womens Assistant Coach. The 2018 season was a historic one on the Men's side, Stringer helped the Eagles earn a second place finish in a tough Region 14. The Eagles finished the season with a school record season at 17-3-2, a trip to the NJCAA National Tournament for this first time since 2014, and ended the season ranked #7 in the nation. The entire coaching staff was honored by the United Soccer Coaches Association when they were awarded for the 2018 NJCAA Division 1 Men's South Region Staff of the Year. The men's team was also able to produced the must shootouts in school history (10) while Stringer has been on staff working with the goalkeepers.Stringer has helped the men's team make the playoffs in both of her previous years at NTCC.
On the Women's side this past season Stringer helped the Lady Eagles earn another top four finish in Region 14 play with a 8-81 record on the season. In her first season Stringer helped the Lady Eagles have a record breaking season. Finishing with a 14-4 record, a second place finish in Region 14, and becoming nationally ranked for the first time. Stringer has helped both teams make the playoffs each of her previous three years at NTCC.
Stringer has coached 19 All-Region players, 11 All-District players, 1 NJCAA All-American, while at NTCC. Prior to coming to NTCC Stringer was the Assistant/Goalkeeper Coach for a boys competitive soccer club in Dallas, Texas. Stringer helped develop the team into a state top 10 and top 50 regional team, along with a First Team All-District goalkeeper and 11 other All District field players.
As a player, Stringer was a four-year starter at Central Christian College of Kansas. While playing goalkeeper at Central Christian College she earned numerous awards including MCAC All Conference Team, NCCAA All Region Team, and NCCAA All American Team. As a senior Stringer was Team MVP and received the Claudine Ferrell Female Athlete of the Year. Stringer holds the Central Christian College single season record for most shutouts in a season with 10.
Coach Stringer earned a Bachelors degree in Sports Management from Central Christian College and a Masters degree in Coaching from Texas Womans University. Stringer holds her NSCAA Goalkeeping Diploma 1 & 2 Licenses, USSF "F" and "D" Licenses.
Andy Kohel was named head men's soccer coach at Johnson & Wales University in January 2018. Kohel comes to JWU after serving as an assistant coach at Colorado College for the last three seasons.
While a member of the Tiger's coaching staff, Kohel helped coach the squad to a 41-10-9 record over three years and saw numerous players recognized for Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and United Soccer Coaches (USC) honors. As an assistant for Colorado College, Kohel was charged with video analysis, scouting, planning trainings and coordinating on-campus visits for recruits among other tasks. He has also worked with Rush Pikes Peak Soccer Club since January 2016, overseeing youth player development as part of the coaching staff.
Before joining the CC coaching staff, Kohel spent four seasons as an assistant at his alma mater, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. During his tenure, the Titans went 48-18-11 and captured the 2014 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) championship and earned a spot in the 2013 NCAA Division III Championship.
Alongside his work with the Titans, Kohel also worked with FC Green Bay Soccer Club as a member of the coaching staff.
Kohel played his undergraduate career at UW-Oshkosh and was a four-year starter for the Titans. UW-Oshkosh went 52-16-11 in his career and as a senior advanced to the national semifinals of the NCAA tournament after going 20-1-3.
He holds a USSF 'B' Coaching license and earned his bachelor's degree in History.
Athletic Director Morris Boydstun admitted that he was a bit concerned about the caliber of applicants the college would receive because of it being a new program and the time of year. He sent out the job posting to every head and assistant coach within the region including Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Mississippi, and Kansas. What I expected was an assistant coach that was looking for the next step. What I got was a lot better. And from that, Byrd was easily the best candidate we had. Boydstun said he was pleasantly surprised when a coach with multiple trips to divisional and state play offs plus four state championship cups was interested in the position.
Byrd is a multisport accomplished athlete who began coaching club teams when he was a teenager. His impressive resume includes D/FW Tornados Soccer Club and nine seasons at the University of Dallas, among multiple camps.
Byrd comes to Mena from Coastal Bend College in Beeville, Tex., where they had only won one game in 14 years prior to Byrds arrival. Under his leadership, he advanced to regional semi or finals all five years along with beating several nationally ranked opponents. There were a lot of things that factored into me reaching out to Morris. Im a single guy with no kids, Im pretty fluid. Nothing really keeps me in one place. I had built a very good program where I was after five years. Byrd went on to explain that Hurricane Harvey destroyed everything he had. When I saw the job, it was a new challenge and a lot closer to my home by about two hours Dallas/Fort Worth. If Im not going to live on the beach, why not live in the mountains
Byrd is well impressed with the plans UA Rich Mountain has for its athletics program. The five-year plan is what sold me. I know the first year is going to be hard. It is what it is. The vision here is very structured and that will make it more successful going forward. The leadership has a good firm grip and good communication.
UA Rich Mountain understands the challenges for recruiting for Fall 2019, when most players signed with a team on November 1, but Byrds previous coaching experience demonstrates his ability to deliver in the most challenging circumstances. Morris said that Byrds contacts within the sport are vast and in his first week alone, he had already made over 120 contacts, He hit the ground running.
Byrd explained that with a new program, its about creating a certain culture. I want to get the best we can our first year. Anytime I have an outfit of players and we start practicing, Ill never let them have anything less than a winning outlook. If we can make a conference tournament our first year, I think that will be a success.
Byrds commitment to the athletes academic success is no different. Approx. 98% of his soccer athletes from Coastal Bend, also a community college, went on to 4-year universities on scholarship. He explained that one of the disadvantages with a soccer program is that the season is almost done before grades come out, but he has an academic policy that he holds his athletes to, and has always been appreciated by parents. GPAs within 3.2-3.6, athletes are required to attend a mandatory study hall one time a week, anything below 3.2, athletes are required to attend study hall twice a week. We will make it our goal to win the highest GPA award within the athletic department. Thats a goal I recruit them on.
Byrd says he is looking forward to evaluating local and regional talent but also embraces the opportunity soccer athletic programs present in recruiting international students, explaining that out of forty young men on his soccer team at Beeville, they represented fifteen different countries.
Byrd, aside from being impressed with the Bucks five-year plan, said that his first impression of the campus was the small size, but knowing the changes that are coming, we will have the best facilities in the JC, and that alone, will be a huge recruiting tool. Byrd added that the student life at UA Rich Mountain will be a plus to the athletic program, The sheer beauty of the campus the ponds really intrigue me, the disk golf, the walking trails through the woods that is stuff that is going to stimulate the student athletes. We dont want them to get bored. They can play disk golf, and in the off season, they can fish, they can hike, they can go to the lake, its a great atmosphere.
Byrd plans to hit the road this week. Knowing hes technically behind in the recruiting process, Byrds strategy is simple and straightforward, pure hard work, as well as utilizing his vast contacts in the sport. I contacted FC Dallas already, which is the big premiere club in Dallas, the Major League Soccer. I talked to their recruiter and hes putting a list together of potential athletes that he thinks would be a good fit for our program. Ive contacted Kansas City sporting director all of these Major League Soccer Clubs have youth academies and theyre Under 19s. If you make that list, youre a solid player. Hopefully, they arent all committed yet but Im reaching out, making those contacts. Ive heard we have tons of local community support so Im really excited about seeing what local and regional talent we have. Were doing local tryouts February 17 so I encourage everyone to follow Bucks Athletics on social media to stay informed on those.
Byrd is looking forward to becoming involved in the local community. I want to help build the soccer community from the grass roots level up. Ill be working with the youth every opportunity Im given. I will even offer a Soccer 101 class for the entire community. Hes also looking forward to taking full advantage of all of the outdoor sports the area is known for, including fishing, jet skiing on local lakes, white water rafting on the Cossatot, and, I have a beautiful husky named Macy. Well go hiking up in these mountains.
Chancellor Dr. Phillip Wilson said he is incredibly pleased with the progress that Athletic Director Morris Boydstun and Assistant Director Jerod McCormick are making in a very short and demanding timeframe and in conjunction with the other hats the two gentlemen wear, Its their passion and their ability to recruit a soccer coach of Coach Byrds caliber is proof of that.

Wes returns to the Arkansas Women's soccer staff for his fourth season.
Wes plays a pivotal role in assisting the program, his responsibilities include, orchestrating field sessions, analyzing film, performance data, and day to day recruiting activities.
Ashley Kaufman begins her first season on Rudy Merediths staff in 2017-18.
Kaufman comes to Yale after spending one season at Washington & Lee where she helped the Generals to a 15-4-1 overall record and a No. 20 national ranking. W&L captured the programs fourth ODAC title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
Kaufman came to W&L from St. Lawrence University, where she served as a graduate assistant for the womens soccer team 2014-15. Over two seasons, Kaufman helped the Saints to a 25-11-4 overall record and an 8-6-2 mark in the Liberty League. SLU also made an appearance in the NCAA tournament in 2015.
A 2014 inductee into the Utica College Athletic Hall of Fame, Kaufman was a four-year letterwinner in soccer and ice hockey, and a one-year letterwinner in softball. She earned all-conference honors in soccer all four years, including three first-team laurels. She earned a bachelors degree in business management from Utica in 2009 and a master of education leadership from St. Lawrence in 2016.
Kaufman also has experience serving as head coach for the GirlsCan Football Academy in New Haven, Conn., and with the Lake Placid soccer camp in Canton, N.Y. She also holds a NSCAA Level 2 goalkeeping diploma.
Jessica Smith is in her fourth season on the sidelines for K-State. She joined head coach Mike Dibbinis inaugural coaching staff in January of 2016, following four seasons at Kansas. Smith was promoted to associate head coach on Dibbini's staff in October of 2018.
In addition to Smiths coaching duties, in which she oversees K-State's offensive attack and works with the student-athletes on their offensive games, her responsibilities include: practice preparation and development for the teams offense, university and community engagement and recruiting evaluation.
Smith holds a US Soccer Senior A License, which she attained in 2018.
Smith served as an assistant coach on the Kansas staff from 2011 until 2015. During her time on the sidelines with the Jayhawks, she helped guide the program to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances in 2011 and 2014 and a trip to the Big 12 Conference tournament final in 2015.
Under Smiths guidance, the Jayhawks offense tallied 35 or more goals in four seasons as the 2011 team registered one of the top offensive seasons in program history. KU scored the second-most goals in school history (46) and totaled 131 points, which was the third-highest single-season mark in program history.
In 2013, Smith was selected as one of 15 women by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) for their inaugural 30-Under-30 Coaching Program for rising coaches.
Before she joined the KU coaching staff, Smith coached at various levels in the Kansas City Metro area, including as a varsity assistant coach for both the boys and girls teams at Olathe Northwest High School. During her time at ONWHS, she helped guide the Lady Ravens to back-to-back region championships in 2008 and 2009, while assisting with the Ravens boys regional championship team in 2007. Several of her players on both the girls and boys sides went on to play soccer at the collegiate level.
In addition to her coaching duties at Olathe Northwest, Smith served as a coach with the Kansas State Olympic Development Program (ODP) girls program. In 2008, she was an assistant with the 1992 team, which was the first Kansas ODP team (boys or girls) to win an ODP Regional Championship. Her team went on to participate in the US Youth Soccer National ODP Championship tournament. Smith is currently working on Region II ODP staff with the 2000 birth year team.
Smith has also spent time working with TOPSoccer programs throughout the state of Kansas in 2008 until 2011 as a chairperson as well as a coach. TOPSoccer is U.S. Youth Soccers outreach program for children with special needs.
As a student-athlete from 2002-05 with Kansas, Smith played in 83 career games and was team captain in 2005. She was a two-time Academic All-Big 12 selection and helped the Jayhawks win the Big 12 regular season title in 2004 and aided the 2003 squad to a third round appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Smith scored 16 goals in her career with the Jayhawks including seven in her freshman season. Her 16 career goals rank eighth in school history. She also dished out 10 assists. She garnered a pair of Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors and was named to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week in 2005. She graduated from KU in 2006 with a degree in sports and fitness management.
Smith was an NSCAA All-American at Wichita Southeast High School. The product of Wichita, Kansas, is the programs all-time leading scorer after graduating in 2002. At the end of her senior season in 2002, Smith was named Miss Soccer for the state of Kansas and the Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year.
In 2012, Smith was an inaugural inductee into the Wichita Southeast High School Athletics Hall of Fame and in 2018 was named to the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.
Smith and her wife Casey, reside in Manhattan and have a son, Leo.
Gwilliam returns to Tech after coaching the Hokies for three seasons from 2007-2009. He will serve as a goalkeepers coach, assist with recruiting efforts and help with many other aspects of the program. Gwilliam most recently served as an assistant coach at Colorado College, where he primarily worked with goalkeepers and defenders, as well as playing a role in the recruiting efforts. In his two seasons with the Tigers, he helped coach the team to 20 shutouts and 156 saves. In 2013, the Tigers were the Conference USA regular season and tournament champions and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. During his two seasons at Colorado College, Gwilliam coached five NSCAA Scholar All-Americans, one NWSL draft pick, five all-region players and multiple CUSA and Mountain West all-league players. Prior to his time at Colorado College, he was the head coach at Temple University from 2011-2012. While heading the Owl program, Gwilliam recruited and coached two All-Atlantic and 10 A-10 all-freshman team members. The team had the highest statistical ranking in school history in goals against and save percentage He has also been an assistant at Virginia Tech, Marshall and The Citadel. The Quakertown, Pennsylvania, native was an assistant with the 2009 Tech team that advanced to the Sweet 16 for the first-time in program history. During his first stint in Blacksburg, the program achieved its then-highest-ever finish in the ACC in 2009, coupled with an ACC Tournament finals appearance in 2008 and a semifinals appearance in 2009. In 2008, the womens program set a school record for shutouts and fewest goals against and in 2009, matched the feat again. Also, the teams goalkeeper was named, for the first time in school history, to numerous national awards, including Soccer America National Team of the Week, and ACC All-Tournament teams. Gwilliam was a goalkeeper at Elizabethtown College during his college years from 1997-2000, where he earned his bachelors degree in social studies education. He was first-team All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection and earned all-academic honors all four years. He helped the Blue Jays win a conference championship and earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament. Gwilliam has received an NSCAA premier diploma and national goalkeeping diploma. He returns to Blacksburg with his wife Krista and his two sons, Benjamin and Jackson.
Cami Koski joined the Houston Soccer staff after spending four years as a player on the Houston Soccer team.
Koski was a four-year starter for the Cougars, setting programs records in goals against average and saves. Koski still holds the program record for games played, games started, goals against average, and shutouts to name a few.
The 2013 American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the year currently works alongside assistant coach Blair Quinn, primarily coaching the goalkeeping personnell.
Koski is a native of Missouri City, Texas and resides in Houston.
Daniel Dobson finished his fifth season as the top assistant on John Hedlunds coaching staff in 2018. He serves as the top recruiting assistant and also coaches the field players. Dobson started out as a volunteer assistant at North Texas in 2012 and moved into a full-time position in 2014.
Since Dobson joined the Mean Green, he has helped lead North Texas to nine championships (five regular-season & four conference tournament championships) and four trips to the NCAA Tournament. He also helped lead North Texas to a school record in wins with 19 (2015) and a Conference USA record for shutouts in a season with 16 shutouts (2015).
In 2018, the Mean Green were the Conference USA Regular Season and Tournament champions and boasted a conference-best nine all-conference players including junior All-American Dominique James who was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year and overall Player of the Year.
In 2017, Dobson helped lead the Mean Green to another Conference USA championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fifth time in school history. North Texas finished with a 14-4-4 record, the program's 23rd consecutive winning season and featured the conference's top defense that allowed just .8 goals per match and had one of the country's most potent offense's, scoring the eighth most goals (49) in the country.
The Mean Green had three players earn all-conference nods, including first-team selectee Dominque James.
The Mean Green improved their NCAA-best undefeated home conference unbeaten streak to 44 by positing a 4-0-1 record in home conference matches in 2017. North Texas hasn't lost a home conference match since Oct. 31 2008 and are 41-0-3 during the streak.
In 2016, Dobson helped lead the Mean Green to their third straight Conference USA regular-season conference title. The Mean Green went 9-1 in conference play, only the second time that a North Texas team has won nine league games. North Texas earned the No. 1 seed in the Conference USA Championship but ultimately lost in the semifinals.
In 2015, Dobson helped coach the Mean Green to what might go down as the best team in program history. North Texas won a school-record 19 games, en route to winning back-to-back regular season titles. The team won its first Conference USA Championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fourth time in school history. The 2015 team was ranked as high as No. 3 in the central region and received votes in the national poll throughout the season. North Texas also beat TCU, 1-0, on the road.
Dobson mentored nine all-conference players, including C-USA Co-Offensive Player of the Year Rachel Holden, Midfielder of the Year Karla Pineda and first-team all-conference goalkeeper Jackie Kerestine.
The 2014 team won its first Conference USA regular-season title behind a record of 16-5-1 and 14 shutouts. Rachel Holden, Karla Pineda and Jackie Kerestine received all-conference honors for their play in 2014. North Texas also defeated Oregon State (Pac 12) at home.
In 2013, North Texas defeated two Big 12 teams: at TCU (2-0) and at Oklahoma (5-0). North Texas finished second in C-USA and advanced to the conference finals. Dobson helped coach the 2013 C-USA Offensive Player of the Year (Rachel Holden) and 2013 C-USA Defensive Player of the Year (Kelsey Hodges). Hodges went on to sign a professional contract with the Seattle Sounders Women in 2014 and a Division I team in Sweden.
As a player, Dobson was a standout for Memphis from 2001-04. He was named team captain for his senior year and led the Tigers win a C-USA regular season and tournament championship. That year, Memphis was ranked as high as No. 10 in the nation, the highest-ever ranking for Memphis. He became the first Memphis product to sign a Major League Soccer contract, and spent time with both the Kansas City Wizards and Chivas USA.
After his playing career, Dobson has spent 12 years coaching club, academy, high school and collegiate soccer squads throughout the Metroplex. This will be his seventh season with the Mean Green program.
Dobson is a graduate of Naaman Forest High School in Garland, Texas. He and his wife, Casey Fields Dobson, have two sons, Luke and Casen.
Hale is in her fourth year as an assistant coach for the Abilene Christian soccer team. She was named to her current position by head coach Casey Wilson in August of 2015.
In her first year on the Wildcats' bench as the attackers coach, ACU scored 33 goals on 291 shots led by freshmen Dylan Owens and Sophie Standifer each of who scored six goals.
The Wildcats have made Southland Conference post season play each of the three years that Hale has been there.
Hale came to ACU following a decorated three-year career at Texas State.
Hale graduated from Texas States Honors Program Summa Cum Laude in the spring of 2015 with degrees in English and psychology. She received her MBA from Hardin Simmons University in August of 2017.
Tayler is the goalkeeper coach for University of New Mexico. As a player for three years at UNM, Tayler was asked to join the staff at after her career was finished. Tayler coaches for Sting Soccer Club- NM. She is highly involved in their youth academy and is the assistant coach for Sting NM 03 Elite. Tayler is a coach for L.E.A.D. Soccer Academy. It is through L.E.A.D., that Tayler will be starting a goalkeeping academy. Tayler received her Bachelors in History from the University of New Mexico and is currently working on her MA in Sport Administration.
Burns is in his 8th season as an Associate Head Coach for Texas A&M-Commerce, bringing with him over 25 years of coaching and teaching experience. The program is coming off a 9th consecutive winning season, finishing In the top half of the conference. During the last 8 years the team have been selected to the NCAA national tournament 4 straight years and advanced to the sweet 16 two times. The program has numerous conference titles, individual All-Americans and Scholar All-Americans throughout this time. For 2022 the Lions athletic programs will move to NCAA Division 1 and begin competition in the Southland Conference.
Burns spent the previous 17 seasons as the head coach at Austin College in Sherman, building the Kangaroo program from scratch. He compiled a 176-117-26 (.592) record while leading Austin College to three NCAA tournament berths, the 2000 American Southwest Conference championship and four-straight east division titles.
During his time in Sherman, Burns' players accounted for over 100 All-Conference and Academic All-Conference honors. He helped guide the 'Roos to 14-straight winning seasons as well as success in the classroom as his teams consistently boasted a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Prior to starting the program at Austin College, Burns spent one season at Stephen's College in Columbia, Missouri, where he also started the Stars' soccer program. He holds his "A" License from the United States Soccer Federation as well as his premier license from the National Soccer Coaches of America.
Burns earned his undergraduate degree in Sports and Recreation Studies from Staffordshire University in the United Kingdom. There he was an accomplished player, helping lead Staffordshire to the National Finals. Burns went on to earn his master's degree in Health and Exercise Science from the University of Missouri.
Burns' wife Holly is a curriculum coordinator for Sherman ISD and the couple have two children, Jade and McKinlee. He remains active on the pitch, competing in the Dallas Men's Outdoor Premier Soccer League.

Alexsis Cable is entering her first season as a Northwestern State assistant coach. In addition to normal program operation duties, Cable will be in charge of video operations at NSU.
Cable is beginning in her first coaching position after a four-year playing career as a defender at Southeastern Louisiana and North Texas. Cable played her first two seasons at Southeastern Louisiana before finishing her career at North Texas in 2016, appearing in two NCAA Tournaments. She was part of two Conference USA championship teams at UNT, a regular season title in 2016 and regular season and conference champions in 2015 with an NCAA Tournament appearance.
The defender saw action in more than 70 career matches before a knee injury cut her senior season short. She made more than 50 starts in her career. Cable contributed four assists and one goal in her career.
At Southeastern, the Lady Lions won the 2013 Southland Conference Tournament and made an NCAA Tournament appearance.
Cable was part of teams who won a combined 60 matches in four seasons. As a youth coach, Cable helped coach teams with UK Elite, South Tangi Youth Soccer Association and the Louisiana Soccer Association since 2013.
Cable will be pursuing a masters degree in health and human performance with a concentration in sports administration.
Justin Wagar returned to Grambling State University as the head womens soccer coach last summer after 18 months away and completed his fifth season with the squad this fall. Wagar led the team to a 15-5-4 record in 2023 helping the Tigers to the highest margin of victories in the conference, the most wins of any team in the SWAC, while leading the conference in shutouts while setting a school record 14 game unbeaten streak. GSU qualified for their 6th Conference Championship game in seven years and won the regular season SWAC Title and then won the SWAC tournament championship to qualify for the NCAA tournament this year.
With Wagar as the GSU head coach, the Tigers have posted a 62-38-10 overall record, the best of any SWAC team during that span. He was honored as the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Coach of the Year in 2017, after guiding GSU to an 11-7-2 overall record (7-2-1 conference record) and to a tie in the SWAC championship game. Wagar has been honored as the Conference Coach of the Year six times now in his career which includes the most recent 2023 season.
Wagar elevated the Grambling State womens soccer program to be the fourth highest ranking rising program in the nation by the Coaching Rank Soccer Index. In addition, the 2018 team also finished 10th in the nation with 13 shutouts. Wagar coached the conferences Defender of the Year Haileigh Adams, who was called up to the USWNT U-19 camp that summer.
Wagar brings more than 20 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level to Grambling State. In 15 years as a head coach, Wagar has coached on the NCAA Division I, II and NAIA levels, while compiling a [173-122-27](tel:173-122-27) coaching record. His teams have earned 14 playoff bids in 16 years and have made three appearances in the national tournament.
Prior to Grambling State, Wagar served as the recruiting coordinator and top assistant at Portland State University. Before PSU, Wagar coached at nearby Eastern Oregon University, where he led the team to a 26-10-4 record between 2015-2017, making him the winningest coach in EOU history.
In 2015, EOU qualified for the national tournament with a 17-3-1 record. That year, they posted the seventh-best record in the nation and had the fourth-best defense and 14th-best offense in the country. Two EOU players that year were honored as All-American selections.
From 2009-2014, Wagar was the head coach at Division II New Mexico Highlands University. In just two years, he turned the program around from one that had 16 straight losing seasons to a 12-win campaign, which featured a trip to the NCAA tournament.
He helped the NMHU Cowgirls break every record in the soccer programs 16-year history, including records for most goals, wins, winning percentage and attendance per game. He also led the team to its first-ever playoff victory and first bid to the NCAA National tournament. Also, he was honored as the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.
In addition to coaching 18 all-conference players and the programs first-ever All-Americans, Wagar led NMHU to five consecutive seasons with the team grade-point average above 3.0 and saw two student-athletes earn Student of the Year honors at the university. He left NMHU as the winningest coach in program history.
Prior to his time at NMHU, Wagar was the head coach for BYU-Hawaii where he was tasked to start the inaugural womens soccer program. That squad responded brilliantly going12-4 that first year with a second-place finish in the Pacific West Conference. That same season, BYU-Hawaii recorded the 15th-best scoring offense in the nation among NCAA Division II squads and the 22nd-toughest defense in the country. In 2007, the Seasiders claimed the conference championship with a 10-2 league record and finished 13-6-1 overall and Wagar was selected as the Pacific West Coach of the Year.
Before taking the job at BYU-Hawaii, Wagar coached at Utah Valley University for two and a half years before stepping in as the interim head coach in 2005. In his first stint as a Division 1 head coach, Wagar led the team to a first-place seed in the United Soccer Conference. He has mentored seven golden boot winners (leading scorers in the conference) and four All-American strikers, as well as had four top-25 nationally ranked offenses and six nationally ranked defenses in his career.
Wagar played collegiately at BYU-Hawaii from 1998-99, where he captained the team as a sweeper and led the Seasiders to the most successful season in NCAA school history.
He also played in the collegiate club national championships as the center back for Utah Valley University, helping the team to a runner-up finish in the national title game. He ultimately earned All-America honors as a defender. Wagar also helped lead the Utah Olympic Development Program mens team to its first-ever West Coast title and a third-place finish at Floridas ODP Select National Tournament in 2005.
A native of Kennewick, Washington, Wagar graduated from BYU-Hawaii in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. Wagar is married to the former Jamae Feddock and the couple have sons, Grayson, Maxtin and daughters, Beckham and Baylor.

Kylee Hathaway is in her second season as a Cowgirl assistant coach and comes to McNeese from Texas Southern University, where she spent three seasons as an assistant coach, primarily training the goalkeepers.
In her first season for the Cowgirls, helped the team record the most wins in school history (13) with a record of 13-7-1, first win over an SEC opponent (Arkansas), highest RPI ranking in school history, and first ranking in the Midwest United Soccer Coaches ranking (#7 in week 3). Hathaway also helped Goalkeeper Emma Roccaforte record 2 Southland Conference Goalkeeper of the Week nominations, Hero of the Week and an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
At Texas Southern, Hathaway helped the Lady Tigers to three record setting seasons. Her players set multiple school and individual records and two back-to-back winning seasons with a historical 11-6-1 record in 2016. Her goalkeepers also received Goalkeeper of the Week recognitions and a SWAC Freshmen of the Year award. She has mentored 6 all-conference players, including the 2015 Conference Freshman of the Year, who held the top save percentage (.81 SV%). Hathaways conference record at TSU concluded with a 20-8-2 record and three conference tournament appearances.
From 2015-2018, Hathaway also worked with the U.S Soccer Olympic Development Program developing youth soccer in South Texas. She was also a technical trainer for Lamar Soccer Club and Club Administrator for the Total Football Club in Katy, Texas.
Hathaway earned her Business Management degree from Alabama State University in 2015 and her Masters degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern in 2017.
While at ASU, Kylee was the starting goalkeeper all four years. She was named to the SWAC All-Conference second team in 2012, the SWAC All-Conference first team in 2013, and the NCAA Division I Senior CLASS Award Second Team in 2014. Throughout her playing career, she was named SWAC Conference Player of the Week and College Sports Madness Player of the Week multiple times. She was named SWAC Defensive player of the Year in 2013 and helped the team reach many momentous achievements over her career.
Her primary responsibilities at McNeese will include training goalkeepers, recruitment, team travel, film analysis and fundraising.

After serving her first year as an assistant, Shannon Washington entered her 3rd season as the Associate Head Coach at Arkansas State. In the 2017 season, the Red Wolves tallied an 9-6-2 overall record, including a 5-4-1 mark in SunBelt Conference play with wins against top teams including South Alabama, Little Rock, and Coastal Carolina. The Red Wolves made back to back appearances at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament as the fourth seed. Sarah Sodoma was named as The Freshman of the Year and joined Riley Ebenroth and Kelsey Ponder for second team all-conference accolades. Having three all-conference selections are he most in the program's history for a single season.Washington was an integural part of the development of the defensive unit that quickly became the toughest to score against in the league. The Red Wolves allowed the fewest goals (14) and the lowest goals against average (0.86) in the Sun Belt and set school record of 6 shut outs, with highly recruited freshman center back Julianna Coates starting all 17 games and logged the most individual minutes. Academically the Red Wolves had 9 above a 4.0GPA along with 21 individuals making the AD Honor Roll. In her first season, Washington helped the Red Wolves return to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament for the first time since the 2013 season. She was also instrumental in the development of Second-Team All-Sun Belt Conference goalkeeper Kelsey Ponder, who broke the A-State single season record saves with 112, while her 6.59 saves per game average ranked her 12th best in the nation (second highest in school history). Ponder finished her season with 1.15 goals against average for the year, the second lowest in school history, ranking her top-5 in save percentage and in the Sun Belt for goals against average. Ponder was recognized by the conference on Oct. 11 as the Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts on the road against Louisiana and Texas State, a back to back shut out and her 4th overall in season (tied school record). Ponder's accolades continue by making the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.She also worked closely with Taylor Schneider, becoming A-State's first student-athlete to win an individual postseason award when the Sun Belt Conference named her the Newcomer of the Year. Schneider was recognized by the conference on Oct. 11 as the Offensive Player of the Week for her two goals against Louisiana and Texas State. She led the team in goals and finished second in assists, while also collecting three-game winning goals, a mark that ranked in the top-25 nationally. Schneider also claims a spot on the Director's Honor Roll. Washington came to A-State from Kansas University where she served as the Director of Operations for the Jayhawks' women's soccer program. During her season in Lawrence, the Jayhawks collected 10 victories and advanced to the finals of the Big 12 Championship Tournament.In addition to her duties on the field, Washington also organized scouting reports, travel itineraries, meals, videos and highlights, recorded game stats, team stats, director of team camps and served as the main liaison with the alumni. Prior to her time at Kansas, she had a two-year stint as the strength and conditioning coach for the Northeastern State women's soccer program. During that time, she also earned her master's degree in Human and Health Performance. Washington was a four-year letterwinner for the Tulsa Hurricane from 2006-10. During her four years in Tulsa she tallied five goals, six assists and had a role in 12 shutouts. She was also the captain of the squad in both her junior and senior years. She graduated from Tulsa in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in exercise sports science. A native of Vancouver, Canada, Washington also enjoyed a highly successful club and Olympic Development career. In 2006, she started 21 of 24 games for the women's premier team in Canada, where she recorded 12 goals and 10 assists and helped her squad to regional and league titles. She saw time with the Canadian Youth National Team in three-consecutive years. She also competed oversees in Spain, Denmark and Sweden where she helped her various teams win gold titles in all three countries.
Free was also a Director of Coaching and Director of Communications at Chesterfield United FC and the Virginia Soccer Association. Free began his coaching career as a Football in the Community Coach for his hometown team Doncaster Rovers FC in 2009. After graduating from Appalachian State University in 2014, he took on the role as a Director of Coaching at Chesterfield United FC in Virginia. His main roles included the running the Goalkeeping program while also specializing in the clubs PR and Marketing scheme. His role also included coaching and developing several boys and girls youth teams from the ages of U8-U18. Free would go on to take up a similar role at the Virginia Soccer Association. While at Chowan University, Free was part of the coaching staff that saw a huge turnaround in the program's fortunes. Going 1-14 the year previous, the Hawks won a program record amount of games going 12-8 in their first year under the new coaching regime. Free's goalkeepers kept 6 clean sheets during their record breaking season. Free also coaches with the Louisiana Olympic Development Program. While coaching the '99 Girls team, six of his players made the Region III ODP pool in 2016. He has also coached several goalkeepers that have gone on to play NCAA D1 and D2 soccer and also represented US youth national teams. Free started his playing career as youth player at Leeds United FC before enjoying a five-year spell at professional English Championship club Barnsley FC. After signing a youth contract in 2007, He was a regular for their youth and reserve teams during his time there and earned the Barnsley FC Supporters Club Young Player of the Year award in his final season. In 2010, Free traveled to Boone, N.C. where he was a four-year starter for the Appalachian State University Mountaineers. Over his career he started in all of his 52 appearances recording exactly 200 saves with a 0.99 goals against average. A 1st team All-Southern Conference selection in his junior year, he finished his career with the Mountaineers as a team captain in 2013. Free played for Chesterfield United FC in 2014 and VSA U23's in 2015 in the NPSL. Free currently holds a USSF "C" License, English FA Level 2 License, USSF National Youth License and NSCAA GK Level 1 and 2 License Free graduated from Appalachian State with a bachelors degree in Communications (focus in journalism), while minoring in Health Education. He is a lifelong fan of his hometown team Doncaster Rovers FC and currently resides in New Orleans.
Mike Wentzler joined the Eagles coaching staff prior to the 2011 season, and currently serves as the teams goalkeeper coach.
His efforts in his seven seasons with the team have led Emory to produce one of the top defenses in the country during that stretch, with his keepers allowing just 88 goals in 137 games. Recently during the 2015 season, Wentzler guided Liz Arnold to a All-UAA Honorable Mention, her third straight All-UAA honor. Her .818 goals-against average during the campaign was the 70th-lowest in Division III in 2015.
In 2012, he coached Kaele Leonard to the 13th-lowest goals-against average in Division III (0.459), and the 38th-best save percentage (0.86), as the senior claimed an all-UAA honorable mention, as Emory finished as the National Runner-Up. During his first season on the team, Wentzler's efforts helped Emory go 17-1-2 and claim a conference Championship, advancing to the round of 16 of the NCAA Championships. Under his watch in 2011, Leonard was named to the all-South Atlantic Region Second Team and an honorable mention to the all-UAA team after finishing third in Division III with a 0.288 goals-against average and sixth with a 0.909 save percentage. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Erica Stein set a school record with a 0.20 goals-against average during the year. As a team, Emory ended the year ranked third among Division III schools with a 0.242 goals-against average and a 0.8 shutout percentage, and fifth with a 0.904 save percentage.
Wentzler was a two-time NAIA all-American for Berry College in Rome, GA during his collegiate playing days. He also earned all-conference and all-region honors in 2006 and 2007, and was named the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2007. Wentzler graduated from Berry in 2008 with a Bachelor of Sciences, majoring in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Womens Studies.
Wentzler holds a National D coaching license certification. He currently teaches at St. Pius X Catholic High School.
Dan Palmer completed his sixth season as the head women's soccer coach at Oberlin College in 2018.
In six seasons he has completely revamped the program, raising the team's level of play and competitiveness while creating a culture of winning. In 2014, the Yeowomen tied a school record with 10 wins after combining for 10 wins in the three seasons prior (2011-13). The 2014-2017 seasons were the most succesful four year stretch in program history.

Two-time UAA Coach of the Year, Palmer's teams were ranked in the nation's top-20 three times, including as high as second in 2007. During his time with the Spartans, he also mentored numerous All-Americans and Scholar-All Americans.
Served as the head men's soccer coach at Hiram for two season (2002-03). Previously, he worked as the head women's soccer coach at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri, from 1996-01 - compiling a 70-47-6 record - before also taking over its inaugural men's program from 1997 to 2001.
A 1981 graduate of North Central College (Illinois), Palmer got his start in coaching at his alma mater where he served as the head men's coach from 1984 until 1989. He also earned a master's degree from Northeastern Illinois University in 1989
Scott Waddell, formerly as assistant coach of the New York University womens soccer program, was named head coach in July 2023.
Waddell brought a wealth of coaching experience to his new position, re-joining NYU after serving as an assistant coach (2020-22) and associate head coach (2023) at Brandeis University. While there, Brandeis achieved its best conference finish since 2010, placing third with a 4-3 record in the ultra-competitive University Athletic Association (UAA).
Serving as an assistant coach at NYU from 2016-20, Waddell helped the program achieve its highest ever United Soccer Coaches national ranking at #15 in 2019 and a second-place finish in the UAA with a 5-1-1 record in 2018, its best conference showing since 2002.
Waddell returned to NYU with NCAA Division I, Division III, and international coaching and playing experience. A 2007 Columbia University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, he played four seasons as a midfielder/forward with the Lions' soccer team and served as a captain.
Waddell also played professionally for Pulau Penang FC (2008) and Real Mona FC (2009).
In addition to his NYU and UAA experience, Waddell also served as an assistant coach at Mount St. Mary's University (2022), as an assistant coach/recruiting coordinator at New Jersey Institute of Technology (2014-16), and assistant coach at Columbia (2010-14).
A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Waddell is a native of Kingston, Jamaica, and resides in New York City.
A graduate of St. Lawrence University, 2017 marks Amanda Hamilton's second year on the Bates coaching staff. She played four years of varsity soccer at St. Lawrence and was part of the program that saw its first NCAA championships appearance since 1989 as well as two consecutive Liberty League finals appearances.
Hamilton earned All-Academic Liberty League honors all four years at St. Lawrence and interned with the SLU department of athletics in a variety of roles.
Hamilton was a coerver coach for four years with the Lake Placid Soccer Centre working with internationally renowned players and coaches. She was an assistant and a head club coach for U12, U14 & U16 Girls FC Freeze teams out of Canton, N.Y. She is currently a head coach for Seacoast United Maine u11 White Premier and assists with their junior academy development program.
Stinson becomes the ninth coach of the 21-year old program. Stinson replaces Angelina Pane, who left after four seasons to pursue interests outside of the University of Dallas. Stinson's first date of working was on January 2.
Stinson arrives after serving this past season as an assistant coach with LeTourneau University. She worked and was mentored by third-year head coach John Antonisse. Her responsibilities included: recruiting, developing practice plans, creating plan of attack for games, and helping student-athletes to succeed academically. The Yellow Jackets went 8-9-1 that season and were 3-6-1 in the American Southwest Conference (ASC). Senior midfielder Stephanie Vana was named Third Team All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
Stinson was no stranger to the ASC, playing soccer at Hardin-Simmons University from 2012-15. A graduate in December, 2015, Stinson earned a Bachelor of Behavioral Science with a major in Criminal Justice and minor in Forensic Studies.
As a goalie for the Cowgirls, Stinson earned three NSCAA All-Regions, four ASC All-Conferences, 2015 ASC Goalkeeper of the Year, 2015 Academic All-ASC, and 2014 ASC All-Tournament Team.
Stinson is currently pursuing a Master of Psychology at LeTourneau and is projected to graduate in December, 2017.
Abouzar third year as the head soccer coach at Texas Woman's University. He became the second head coach in program history in July of 2013 after serving as the teams assistant coach for one year. Abouzar guided the Pioneers to 14-19-3 record in his first two season after taking over a program that has a record of 63-119-23 in the previous 11 years. Last season TWU posted the best winning percentage (.528) in school history with a 9-8-1 record and tied the school record for wins. Through the first seven games, the Pioneers also recorded the best start to a season in program history with a 6-1-0 record and set a new for consecutive wins with six. Under his direction 11 TWU soccer players received All-Lone Star Conference honors and three players were named to the LSC All-Academic Team. In 2014, sophomore Natalia Diaz was named the NSCAA All-South Central Region Second Team and LSC Newcomer of the Year. The Pioneers also posted a 3.385 or higher team grade point average in three of the four semester under Abouzar's direction. During the Fall 2013 semester the team posted its highest team GPA (3.586) in program history that included an incredible 10 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0. In 2012 as an assistant coach he helped the Pioneers to a successful season both on and off the field. TWU qualified for the Lone Star Conference Championship postseason tournament for the fourth time in school history and set a then-new team grade point average with a 3.566. Abouzar came to TWU after spending two seasons as the head coach at Lubbock Christian University. He was the first coach in program history and guided the Lady Chaps to a 14-18-4 record and two straight Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament appearances. Prior to his stint at LCU, Abouzar was a graduate assistant coach for two seasons at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Abouzar played two years at Lipscomb University as a defender and earned Atlantic Sun All-Academic honors. He was also a NJCAA All-American at Richland College in Dallas and part of a NJCAA National Championship team. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 2008 and his MBA in 2009 from Lipscomb University.

In the 2013-14 season, Solberg also coached at the high school and club level in Louisiana. Growing his knowledge in soccer, Solberg has worked several camps and also has an Advanced National Diploma and National Diploma from the NSCAA along with a soccer certification from the National Federation of State High School Associations. From 2009-10 he was the Skyhawks, Inc., camp director and coach in Chicago, Illinois, working with ages three to 15 years old. He has also worked camps at the University of Wisconsin, University of Oregon, Nicholls State University, East Central University and was a staff member of the Texas Spirit ID camp and SportSource College Showcase ID camp.
Solbergs playing career has been at the club levels in Illinois and Mississippi. He played U-11 through high school club soccer for two different clubs in the Grove United Soccer Club and Buffalo Grove Hurricanes Club in Chicago. In college, he was a part of the University of Mississippis Ole Miss mens club team from 2009-2012 playing as a midfielder.
Graduating from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Liberal Studies in 2012, Solberg was a student-athlete for the Rebels. He competed at the NCAA Division I level in track and field and cross country for the Rebels where he earned a spot on the SEC honor roll in 2009-10. He then went on to complete his athletic eligibility at Southeastern Louisiana State University pursuing his masters degree. Competing at SELU, he was named to the Southland Conference academic honor roll and also earned a letter in track and field. He started his masters degree at SELU and finished in 2015 at East Central University earning his masters in Education with a concentration in Sports Administration.
Servant leadership has been a big part of Solbergs life as he has helped with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddles and participated on a mission trip. He helped start the FCA campus huddle at Nicholls State University and was on the leadership staff at Ole Miss and SELU. In 2012, he went on an Athletes In Action mission trip to Zimbabwe.
The Arlington Heights, Ill., native is also a skilled violinist having played from 2009-11 with the Lafayette-Oxford-University Orchestra. Solberg has also been the PA announcer at Ole Miss sporting events been a play-by-play broadcaster for Nicholls State University and the Rochester Honkers baseball organization.
While in high school in Illinois, Solberg was an All-American in track & field and has been inducted into the Buffalo Grove High School Hall of Fame. He finished sixth in the 2000-meter steeplechase at the 2007 USATF National Youth Track & Field championships and was a member of the 2003 USATF National Junior Olympic team champion in cross country.

Head Womens Soccer Coach at Cisco College entering 2nd year. Before Cisco, McGibeny was the Assistant Womens and Goalkeeper Coach for Howard Payne University for two years. Before coaching, McGibeny also played Howard Payne all four years serving as a goalkeeper and forward.
Hamilton enters her ninth season as head coach of the Southwestern women's soccer team. Hamilton brings a wealth of experience to the program, both as a player and coach. She played collegiately at North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina, earning All-America status and all-conference honors all four years. She was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year in 1988. Hamilton went to play for the United States National Team, where she played in 82 international matches. She helped the team to a World Cup gold medal in 1991 and bronze in 1995. Southwestern won the SCAC Conference Title in 2019 for the first time in program history and made their first NCAA appearance. Hamilton has been named SCAC Coach of the year in 2016 & 2018.
Coach Muñoz joined the ASU coaching staff in January 2017. He serves in all areas of the program: coaching, recruiting, game planning, scouting, and video analysis.
The 2022 season saw Muñoz assist the Belles to the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament.
In the fall of 2021, Muñoz helped guide the Rambelles to a Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship and a trip to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament.
In the spring of 2021, Muñoz helped guide the Rambelles to a perfect 10-0 record and the Lone Star Conference Regular Season as well as Tournament Championship. The Rambelles defense only conceded two goals in the whole season.
2019 saw the Rambelles go 12-5-2 overall and 8-4-1 in conference play.
In 2018, Muñoz helped guide the Belles to its first ever Lone Star Conference Tournament Championship and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. In 2017, Coach Muñoz helped guide ASU to a regular season Lone Star Conference Championship and a first round appearance at the NCAA Tournament.
Before arriving at Angelo State, Muñoz spent one season as the head women's soccer coach at Georgia Southwestern State University. During his one season with the Division II program, Muñoz improved the team's win/loss record and also led the program to its highest scoring season in eight years.
Before working at Georgia Southwestern, Muñoz was a volunteer assistant coach at Mercer from 2014 to 2016, helping lead the team to a Southern Conference Tournament Championship and a school record 14 wins in 2014. The performance earned the Bears an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to his time at Mercer, Muñoz was the head men's coach in the Lone Star Conference at Eastern New Mexico. During his six seasons with the Greyhounds the team only finished with a losing record in its first year, and Muñoz won the Lone Star Conference Championship with a 9-4-5 record while setting the school record for fewest goals allowed in a season. Muñoz had worked at ENMU earlier in his career as a graduate assistant for the men's team while McCorkle was the head of both programs for the Greyhounds.
Prior to being the head coach at Eastern New Mexico, Muñoz was the head women's soccer coach and the associate head women's soccer coach at NAIA member Midland University. In the 2007 season, he led the Warriors to a 13-2-4 record and earned a runner-up finish in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship.
Muñoz played collegiate soccer at William Woods University from 1998-2002 where he was a First Team All-American Midwest Conference selection. He went on to obtain a Master's of Science in Physical Education while serving as a graduate assistant coach at Eastern New Mexico.
A Bogotá, Colombia native, Muñoz also played semi-professionally in the Canadian Professional Soccer League with North York Astros and in the Premier Development League with the Sioux Falls Spitfire. Muñoz currently holds a Premier Diploma as well as a Goalkeeping Level I & II diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
Alyssa Taramona enters her third season on the St. Mary's Women's Soccer coaching staff, having spent the past two as the Graduate Assistant Coach.
A former All-Heartland Conference goalkeeper, Taramona's expertise in the net has helped the Rattlers pitch eight shutouts over the past two seasons. They have totaled 14 wins over that span.
A native of Forney, Texas, Taramona was a four-year Rattler standout, finishing her career as the Rattlers' all-time saves leader with 261 career stops.
Ramos helped the program to its first-ever American Southwest Conference post-season tournament in her first season as the assistant coach. Ramos, who was named the assistant coach in July of 2015, also helped the program to its most conference wins since 2009.
Ramos, a native of Arlington, Texas, was a four-year lettewinner at LeTourneau University, helping the program to its most wins since 2009 her senior season. She started in 13 matches and recorded one assist in her final year, and as a junior she started in 19 matches. She finished her career as a three-time American Southwest Conference All-Academic Team member. In 2014, Ramos attended the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis.
She starred at Martin High School earning MVP honors twice and serving as the team captain.
Ramos received her bachelor's degree in business management from LeTourneau in 2015.
Samantha Etherington is the sixth head coach in Louisiana College Women's Soccer program history.
As a graduate assistant at the University of Dubuque from 2013-2015, Etherington assisted in every facet of a program that won the Iowa Conference (IIAC) regular season and postseason championship. The program also made an NCAA Tournament appearance on its way to setting new school records for wins (16), consecutive wins (6), home wins (10), fewest goals allowed (18), and shutouts (10).
Prior to Dubuque, Etherington put together an impressive coaching resume in a short period of time, as she served as student assistant coach at Nicholls State University and assistant coach at E.D. White High School in Thibodaux for the 2012-2013 season.
As a four-year student-athlete at Nicholls State University, Etherington played in 7 games, making 66 starts, as well as scoring 5 goals and 11 assists for 21 career points. Etherington was also named MVP for her junior and senior seasons; in addition to being named team captain her senior year.
Prior to Nicholls State, Etherington was a two-time conference champion at Gateshead College in Gateshead, England, as well as 5v5 National Champion. Most recently, Etherington was named in the Gateshead College Athletic Hall of Fame. Etherington played club soccer for Newcastle United Womens Football Club who competed in the FA Northern Premier League.
Etherington graduated from Nicholls State University in 2013 with a B.S. in Health Sciences, and earned her M.A. in Communications from the University of Dubuque in 2015.
In August 2015, Etherington was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) 30 under 30 program. Picked from over 500 applicants, Etherington and will be part of a year long mentorship program created to support and grow Americas next generation of coaches.
Driggs begins his fifth year as the associate head women's soccer coach at West Texas A&M. Driggs came to Albuquerque, N.M.
During his six-year tenure at La Cueva HS, he lead the men's soccer team to three 6-A State Championships. He also has spent the past seven years as the girl's academy director of NM Rush Soccer Club. He began his coaching career in 1993.
Driggs played collegiate soccer at the University of New Mexico. He graduated with a Bachelor degree in social work from the University of New Mexico-Highlands in 2011. He has a Masters in clinical counseling as well.
Driggs has a USSF "B" License and a US Soccer NY License. Also, he is a current education instructor for New Mexico Youth Soccer.
He is married to his wife, Jacqueline, and has two children
Greg Cathell begins his 3rd season as the Centenary Ladies Soccer Coach in 2019. He is the fifth coach in the history of Ladies soccer. Last season he lead the program to it's most wins in a season in nearly a decade (9). In only two years he has taken a program that had only averaged 4 wins a year the previous 5 years and turned it into a winner.
In 2018, Ladies Soccer turned in its best season as a member of the SCAC with a 9-6 overall record and a 6-5 mark in conference action. The six wins to begin the season ties a program record for the best start to a season. The .667 winning percentage was the best in the NCAA Division III era while Centenary's four All-Conference players, juniors Emilee Byrd and Kyra Montes (First Team), junior Betzabet Bravo (Second Team), and freshman Kat Martinez (Honorable Mention) were the most All-Conference players for Centenary in more than 20 years.
Cathell comes to Shreveport after one season as an assistant women's soccer coach at Siena, where he coached seven All-Conference Players, as well as the 2016 Metro-Atlantic Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the year.
The Saints finished the season with a 9-7-3 record and the second seed in the Mid-Atlantic Athletic Conference Tournament, their highest seed in 12 seasons.
For the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Cathell served as the head womens soccer coach at NCAA Division III Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York. His teams excelled both on and off the pitch, as the Engineers boasted a 19-12-8 record in two seasons. Cathells squads also received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Academic Award both seasons, and he coached the first womens soccer Athletic and Academic All-American at Rensselaer.
For four seasons prior to his stint with the Engineers, Cathell served as the assistant womens soccer coach and head recruiting coordinator at NCAA Division III Salisbury University. He helped recruit a freshmen class that went a combined 34-17-6 over three seasons, including two Regular Season Capital Athletic Conferences and two trips to the CAC Tournament Championship game, with one CAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance.
Cathell also recruited and coached the first Sea Gulls womens soccer player to earn CAC Rookie of the Year accolades.
From 2003-08, Cathell coached soccer at Delmar High School in Delmar, Delaware, with stints as both the boys and girls head coach. In 2008, he garnered both the State of Delaware Coach and Small School Coach of the Year honors.
Cathell was a four year NCAA Division I scholarship student athlete at the University of Maryland-Eastern Shore and was named All-Conference and All-Tournament Team in 2003 and 2006. In 2006, he received the Team MVP Award for the Hawks. He graduated from UMES in 2009 with a degree in secondary education social studies concentration. Cathell received his Masters in post-secondary education from Salisbury in December of 2012.
Cathell holds his national coaching diploma and advanced regional coaching diploma from the NSCAA.
Greg and his wife, Mia, reside in Shreveport and are expecting their first child, Hope, in January 2018.
Scott Toups is beginning his 15th season as one of the women's soccer coach at Dallas College Richland. Toups has continued the Thunderduck's winning way by adding a national championship in 2009 and 2018 to the Richland trophy case which also won in 2004 and 2006. His 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 teams have finished 4th, 5th, 2nd and 5th respectfully.
Delgado is the current head coach at Paul Quinn College. He was a player at Howard Payne University and also coaches at the club level at Barca 99.

In addition to a GPS location, we provide specific directions to all participants in pre-camp materials so you know exactly where to go and when to be there!
The following airport options are most convenient for the event location:
KDFW - Dallas Fort Worth International Airport: About 16 miles from facility.
KDAL - Dallas Love Field: About 6 miles from facility.
If family member(s) would like to stay at our recommended hotel, we often organize a discounted rate (Click Here). Family members are welcome to observe & participate at camp. We have a few sessions designed for family participation including the parent workshop and the recruiting panel However, it is totally optional -- only person that should be there is the athlete!
Players are welcome to travel to the EXACT camp without an accompanying family member. Players have the option to take our airport transit from the recommended airports listed above. This transit will take the athlete from airport to camp (and back to airport after camp ends). Try to book your flight to arrive at airport by 11am and departing flight after 8pm. If you need take earlier/later flights, just let us know -- we always accommodate!
In accordance with NCAA rules, EXACT camps are open to any and all that would like to attend, but may limit attendance based on several factors, such as age, number and grade level. Camp attendance at EXACT is never restricted by a camper's skill level or competitive experience.
